Trace level of RWB's Message Monitoring - Detail Message - Tab "Audit log"

Hi,
My flow is: File -> PI -> Transformed File with seeburger module. Everything is good except the trace level in RWB.
Exactly, in our PI production, under RWB -> Message Monitoring, when I select a message (e.g PI -> Outside) and see its Detail, under tab "Audit Log", I have a log with only 2 pages (which corresponds to the sender part "File -> PI")... whereas in our PI pre-production, I have 4 pages for the exact same flow, on which I have also info of the receiver part "PI -> Outside"...
My question is just: do you know which parameter is involved in this trace level of RWB's Message Monitoring Detail log ?
regards.
Mickael
Note: in [Help SAP|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fd/16e140a786702ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm], I see only this sentence "Audit Log: The audit log for the selected message is displayed as the default setting.".

Hi Shabarish,
Thanks that will help to localize my search.
else by hazard, you don't know which parameter in this tree is for the "Audit Log"?
coz I did a quick look in prod and pre-prod, but it seems the severity is the same (e.g "Info" for most of them) whereas the trace level of "Audit log" is different.
Thanks for
Regards.

  • Message Monitor Missing Messages in Adapter Engine

    All,
I had over 200 messages in my adapter engine but recently I only see 115 for the same period.
Additionally, all of the 850 (PO) inbound messages are gone.   I see them in the Integration Engine but not in the Adapter Engine anymore.
I need to repeat processing for a particular 850 message and so I am wondering:
    (1)   Any suggestions on why these messages are missing ?
    (2)   Is this a retention period issue ?  If so, how do I control the period ?
    (3)   How can I retrieve these messages ?
    (4)   Is there another place where I can re-process the 850 messages I need.   Where and how ?
Thanks everyone in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Andy

    Hi,
    >>>(1) Any suggestions on why these messages are missing ?(2) Is this a retention period issue ? If so, how do I control the period ?
It may be caused coz of some adapter failure which you are using for that particular  scenario. Also for rention period you can check it in the particular communication channel, but i don't think it will be the issue. try finding it in moni, if it is not there go to RWB and then find it for you particular interface. If it is not there try to find the status.
    >>>(3) How can I retrieve these messages ?(4) Is there another place where I can re-process the 850 messages I need. Where and how ?
In RWB -> message monitoring you will find all the message, Try searching it for your interface and the you can select all messages and you can reprocess it.
For error message , in RWB go to particular adapter, and check if it is running or not. It must be in running status. so check and let us know about it.

  • Message monitor - IDOCs messages

    Hi
I've created and sent IDOC messages from ERP to MII. However there is no single message found in MII. Any idea? The error message in MII is "Unknown error no messages" (something like that as I translated from German to English)
    What I did checked
    1. MII IDOC listener status - ok
    2. ERP RFC connection -ok
But I saw error message under transaction SM58  "Error when opening an RFC connection"
    Thanks for posting

    Dear Seng,
    I am working on MII12.1.5 build 91
I was also getting error in idoc receiving see below thread but now issue got resolved.
    iDoc not received in MII
In my case iDoc sent successfully from SAP but not received in MII.
So i have created one more wrong RFC destination along with actual correct one.
then configured it in SAP NW as well as in SAP MII with same setting as i done for correct one it worked.
then i deleted the wrong RFC Destination and also deleted settings of wrong one in SAP NW and MII.
then my actual correct one is worked.
its strange but workes for me .
may i know on which MII version you are working.

    I have 2 Problems in the monitoring : -
    1.     I can only see the messages for last 2 hrs in Message Monitoring.
Messages Older then 2 hours are not getting displayed.
    2.     Also if i am unable to see complete set messages in the 2 hr interval.I mean randomly
messages are getting lost in message monitoring.
Is there any setting we need to maintain for Message Monitoring?

JDBC Message processing failed, due to Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'If_test ' (structure 'STATEMENT'): java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00936: missing expression
I should resent this message content. When i press Resend tab  in message monitoring, error status is not being changed.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Check the payload received is correct or not in this case ...
Take payload and check at mapping level...
if you are using insert or update statement you can enable log at the receiver jdbc channel in advance mode(logSQLStaement to true) to see how the statement is getting framed ...

  • Audit log missing in message in Message Monitor

    Hi,
I am facing a weird problem.
I found this in one of my scenario where we are using AS2 adapter and its an IDoc to file scenario.
When I go to details of messages in message monitor in RWB,sometimes the Audit log is empty.
It is happening randomly and not specific to any scenario as later on I found the same problem in some messages from other scenarios too.
I have never faced this problem till now and it was working fine before.
Can anyone please let me know what could be the reason for this as this is difficult for me in case I need to analyse a message and there is no audit log.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Adapter message monitoring: message in HOLD

    Hi,
    since we changed a scenario:
    a) old scenario: R/3 --> XI --> BPM --> XI  --> FTP
    b) new scenario R/3 --> XI   --> FTP
the messages stuck in adapter message monitoring.
Message-Interface is the same, CC is the same; just the way through BPM was canceled.
    any suggestions?
    Thanks
    Regards Mario

    Hi Mario,
messages are in status HOLD, when they need to be sent in exact order (EOIO), and an error occured in one (or more) queues. When you solve this error, restart the first message from the queue after this error and the items will be processed.
    How to do that:
Go to messaging system servlet, find your message (in hold status) and click the Eye icon - Details. Now read the Conversation ID value - which is your queue ID.
Go to RWB, message monitoring, choose adapter engine( from combobox)-> display. Now click additional criteria, put the value of Conversation ID to conversation ID textbox. Start search. You'll see a lot of messages there in hold status I think, But find the one in System Error status. Try to resend this message, if it will not change its status (will still be in in System error), cancel it. Now restart first message from the queue, which was after this wrong one.
This should release the queue and process items.
If any questions, let me know.
    Peter

  • TRACE level

    hello,everyone
Which T-CODE can adjust the trace level appeared in the sxmb-monitor, for example:
       <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Response
      -->
    - <SAP:Trace xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30">
      <<b>Trace level</b>="1" type="T">Party normalization: sender</Trace>
so i want to adjust the trace level from 1 to 3. Which tcode can i enter?

    Hi Amanda,
    this should be easy!
Go to transaction sxmb_adm ---> integration engine configuration and set the parameter from category Runtime and Subcategory TRACING. You can set this up to "3". However, be careful as your database will grow very quickly. You should only use this for a special purpose/message. Then turn it down to "1" again. If a message is set to error, and you restart it, you will have a pop up asking you whether you would like to increase it to the maximum. In this case the max level trace will only affect the message in question and not every question.
    This should help you.

  • Exception in Message Monitoring when failed message is cancelled

    Hi All,
I need some info regarding this.
In message monitoring a message from Sender A to Sender B fails and gets into "waiting" mode.
When I cancel this message, I immediately recieve an Exception message from Sender B to Sender A. I have not done any specific configuration for this.
This happens as many times as I cancel the message. I receive one exception message from the reciever to sender for one failed and cancelled message.
I am working on PI 7.1 and recently the system was upgraded to Service Pack 09. Has somebody faced this or can throw any light on this?

  • What to do if I have in message monitoring

What to do if I have in message monitoring for   messages of :
"Engine": "Integration Engine" status "cancelled with error".
What is (could be the error) and what steps should be done

    Hi,
The Cause of this error could be the data is not transfered to the target system.may be the connection failure.due to this reason it will stuck in the queue.it will keep on trying to send the data to target system.at that time the status will be in waitiing stage.after some time it will change the status to cancelled with errors.
and also you can find the detailed explanation in the message monitoring tab by selecting the message and click on display.go to audit log view then you can able to see the details.
Note : Try to close this thread if you got the proper solution.

  • Missing Audit Log of Adapter Engine in Message Monitoring

    Hi!
I've a problem with a fresh installed PI:
The Adapter Engine doesn't log anything in the Message Monitoring. The Integration Engine logs everything properly, but all entries from the adapter engine are missing. It looks like no message was processed by the AE, but in fact AE is processing the messages properly, only logging fails.
    What can cause this behaviour?
    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Agasthuri,
yes, maybe something gone wrong in the post install, I will ask the guy which did the installation of the PI. Therefore I didn't have the logon data for performing a cache refresh, but in the log entries it seems that this is working properly.
    Hi Praveen,
in Communication Channel Monitoring (In PI this is no longer found under Adapter Monitoring), I can see that the messages are delivered, but I can't see the Audit Log entries there.
I checked the MDT, but there are also no messages displayed.
End-to-End-Monitoring seems to be a good solution, but it seems that it is something configured wrong in this installation I will try to get the guy which cares for Basis to look after it.
    Best regards,
    Daniel

  • User XIRWBUSER does not have authorization for message monitoring

    Hi All,
In the Runtime WorkBench, when I choose the Message Monitoring, display Messages from Component Adapter Engine from Database, when I click on the start button, it shows me a error "User XIRWBUSER does not have authorization for message monitoring", how can I configure my xi to get the authorization for message monitoring of Adapter Engine? Thanks!
    Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,
Transaction PFCG. Enter the role you wish to check (SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER) and click on the display button.
Check that the Authorizations tab is green. If it is not, then you might need to generate the auth profile. Also check the User tab. If it is not green, then you should do a User Comparison as well (just click on the button inside the tab).

  • Audit log in communication channel monitoring(MDT)

    Hi,
I am doing a soap lookup in my message mapping for an interface. In order to monitor the request and response communication , I am unable to see the 'Audit Log' for the soap communication channel that was configured for the same.On clicking the message id for viewing the audit log,an error page is displayed as "Requested Page not found"
Could you please help me as to why I am unable to see the Audit Log.
    Regards
    Janice

    Hi! Janice,
Could you guide me as to where I can set the parameter for sync logging in AE
    You can got to
    1)  T Code: SXMB_ADM
    2)  Click Integration Engine Configuration
    3)  Again  click Configuration
    4)  Now Keep the parameter as TRACE_LEVEL   = 3 instead of 0 or 1 or 2.
then again go to SXMB_MONI there you can view now SOAP Request and Response.
I hope now it is resolved right

    Hello Rafael,
We are on PI 7.0 Service Pack 15. We are also having the similar issue in our production system for the asynchronous messages delivered to the legacy database using JDBC Adapter. The status of the message in CC Monitoring is given as message successfully delivered, however the audit log is blank and has no information.
Could you please let me know, if the issue is resolved in your case by applying the above SAP Notes?
