Trace service providers in InDesign debug

Hi All,
Is there any provision to trace all service providers in InDesign debug version?
When I perform some action in debug version I want all the service providers that gets called.

Yeah, there's no easy way to package up the fonts unless you use Art Files or Scoop. From "Find Font..." you can then go to the finder and search for the fonts you've used. If it's only a couple, it's not too bad. Just make sure you get the right versions... (I know I have about 20 faces of Futura...)
If the service provider isn't going to be making any changes to the copy, then there is really no reason not to outline the fonts.
Outlining fonts changes them from text to shapes, treating them just like any other shape in your file, removing your ability to edit text (so it should be one of the last steps in your pre-flighting of a file) and it guarantees that what you send the printer is what you'll get back.
Keep a live (not outlined) copy of all your files for future use and send the printer an outlined version.
Or, if this is something you're going to be doing a lot of, and you don't want to outline the fonts, look into Art Files or Scoop. I know Art Files is only like $50, and it works great.

Posted by Marc Madenwald... [Updated July 29, 2003]
    Hello,
There is an online directory of print service providers who support Adobe InDesign located at: http://partners.adobe.com/asn/partnerfinder/search_service.jsp
If you can not find a print service provider in your area or your current provider does not accept InDesign files then Adobe would like to work with them to ensure they can support you. Please help Adobe contact them by completing the form located at: http://partners.adobe.com/asn/partnerfinder/findspform.jsp
If you are a print service provider and would like to be included in the online directory you can register for free with the Adobe Solutions Network (ASN) or apply to become an ASN Adobe Authorized Service Provider at: http://partners.adobe.com/asn/service/benefits.jsp
A PDF brochure about the Adobe Solutions Network Print Service Provider Program is posted at: http://partners.adobe.com/asn/service/PDFS/ASN_PSPP_NA_DS.pdf
Print Service Provider who are interested in learning more about supporting Adobe InDesign (or InDesign customers who want to get this information to their service provider) should visit the resources available at: http://partners.adobe.com/asn/service/indesign/index.jsp

    Hi Max,
Thank you for your quick response. I have attached a couple of screenshots, which should hopefully help to explain what I mean. In service designer it is possible to define extensions, one of which is 'service attributes'. When we define imageURL1, then put an image url in the individual service, the image automatically gets shown on the service details page, with no further customisations needed. We were wondering if there are any other service attributes that work like this, i.e. can be defined and have a certain behaviour automatically associated with them, or imageURL is the only one? If there are others do you know where we could find a list of them?
    Many thanks,
    Richard

  • How can I get a indesign debug version?

How can I get a indesign debug version? is it free?
Anyone could give me a download link?
    thanks

I know this is available to solution providers, if you are registered as such at partners.adobe.com. I don't know what level of membership is required, but that is one place the debug version is available from.
    Thanks,

Anyone can help for this? Thanks

I have used this method, but the dog gone service does not return a started status. It just keeps saying starting even after the service starts.
Download sc.exe from ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/reskit/win2000/sc.zip and copy
    it to system32
Open a command line, change to C:\Sun\AppServer\lib and run:
    C:\winnt\system32\sc.exe create SJdomain1 binPath=
    "C:\Sun\AppServer\lib\appservService.exe
    \"C:\Sun\AppServer\bin\asadmin-pause.bat start-domain domain1\"
    \"C:\Sun\AppServer\bin\asadmin-pause.bat stop-domain domain1\"" start= auto
    DisplayName= "SunJava domain1"
    1. I'm no fan of windows and I prefer Solaris or Linux
    2. Windows should have this tool as a part of the OS so I don't have to go hunt for it
    3. I guess this solution is better than no solution at all :)

  • Hi i have pap2,i know to configure but need some info about the service providers in india

plz help me in telling the service providers in india i used net4 phonewala before but want to use other service provider now..i have atleast 40 packs pap2 but dont know what to do with those...can i sell them ..plz help me

netphonewala should unlock the units first. If the devices are locked or provisioned with them then you will not be able to use them with any other provider. The current ITSP where the devices are registered will be the ones to unlock the units.

  • Need to upgrade service providers of Moss 2007 to SharePoint 2013

I have upgraded the Moss 2007 Content database via native approach into SharePoint 2013. I am wondering how we can upgrade the service providers of Moss 2007 to SharePoint 2013 service applications.
    Regards Restless Spirit

    Hi Restless,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to upgrade the service providers of MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013 service application.
Per my knowledge, you need to firstly upgrade the service providers of moss 2007 to SharePoint 2010 via database content, then upgrade SharePoint 2010 service applications to SharePoint 2013.
There are some useful articles for your reference:

  • Changing Service Providers and will lose email -- help!

    Hello,
I'm switching service providers and cannot take my email address with me. 2 Questions:
    1. If I stop synching with my current provider, will NO email show up in my email box for that account, or will it save the current emails.
    2. How do I extract the email addresses/address book so that I can send a mass email to my contacts that i'm changing my email address?
    Thank you!!

    1. If I stop synching with my current provider, will NO email show up in my email box for that account, or will it save the current emails.
Generally speaking, witnin 30 days this will be so.
    2. How do I extract the email addresses/address book so that I can send a mass email to my contacts that I'm changing my email address?
Those should remain in AB, as all eMails should depending on account type... is this old one POP or IMAP?

  • Interfaces with Logistics Service Providers (external WMS)

    Hi all,
I am currently in the process of designing possible solutions for our interfaces between SAP and LSP.
We have external 3rd party Logistics Service Providers (LSP) handling our warehouse. LSP has their own WMS system. We don't have WMS configured in SAP. Our warehouse will receive goods from supplier, issue stock to customers and receive returns from customers.
Could you please clarify the following ?
    1. What are the preferred ways of sending the messages for e.g. flat file/EDI/XML ?
    2. What are the possible messages we need to exchange (say for e.g to have goods receipt / goods issue / stock take / daily stock reconciliation) ?
    3. Which one is advisable ?
to send shipping notification (SN) from supplier direct to LSP system and receive GR details from LSP to SAP
    (or)
to receive SN from supplier in SAP and send the inbound delivery created in SAP to LSP so that GR can be done based on this ?
    4. How can the stock discrepancy / stock reconciliation can be handled between 2 systems on a daily basis ?
    5. Is there any website to get more information about the interfaces between SAP and external WMS systems ?
Your advise would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    anand

    Hi Aries,
No problem, I think I have not mentioned clearly. We have different Warehouses (in different countries) managed by different LSPs and each one has got different WMS system. Mostly they are non-SAP system and one is a SAP system with Transport management module. As I said earlier we have only IM configured in our SAP without WMS. Could you please tell what you interface your WMS with 3rd party WMS(SAP system)?
Still I am wondering whether the set up in OMKY can be used for my requirement as it tells about connecting SAP to external non-SAP system ?
Any ideas will be much appreciated,
    Thanks,
    anand

  • Service providers software

Hi Can anyone help, i have recently switched service providers but the old providers logos, banners etc are still on my handset (N70). Can i remove these so i just go with my new providers settings.

Not without finding someone (or tools) to reflash your phone with the other operator's firmware (phone software), or generic/retail firmware.
You should still be able to get the other operators network settings, etc., even if you can't remove the first operator's stuff.

  • Do Apple Authorized Service Providers "recycle" hard drives as new?

I'd like to upgrade the hard drive in my iMac (500 gigs ain't cutting it!) to a 2 TB drive. While I've done this before in Macbook Pros, Towers and other computers, the iMac hard drive upgrade is a little sketchy to do on your own (you have to removed the glass with suction cups and then the display... no thanks).
I was wondering if Apple Authorized Service Providers "recycle" old drives, meaning that you could potentially be getting someone elses old drive put into your machine. I know some computer repair chains have been caught doing it and was wondering if anyone has experienced this with an Apple Service Provider (not an Apple Store). I'd like to think Apple has high standards but you never know...
    Thanks!

I agree with WZZZ, you should ask your local AASP and ask what becomes of old drives. If you decide to upgrade the old drive in your iMac is yours to do with what you want. The new drive you purchase should be just that, "new." Most firms could care less about what is on your old drive, they are aware of the liabilities and don't want to risk their businesses. IMHO you should proceed confidently.

  • I want to save my old emails as I've run out of space on my service providers server for my email.

I want to save my old emails as I've run out of space on my service providers server for my email.
I can't Archive as that takes space alos on the server.
What is the best way to do this and still access/read the old emails on my iMac, 10.8.4?

You can just drag the emails to "On My Mac" which will save them locally. Or you can use a third-party archive utility. If you're using Mail, you might look into MailSteward which will archive all your mail, including attachments, into a database:
    http://www.mailsteward.com
I've used it for years and have been quite satisfied with it.

  • Load sharing/balancing between 2 Service Providers

    Hi,
I have a scenario where I have the following and this is repeated at different sites globally.
    CE1-----------PE1_SP1---MPLS cloud
    |
    CE1---standby--PE2_SP1---MPLS cloud
    CE2-----------PE1_SP2----MPLS Cloud
    |
    CE2---standby--PE2_SP2---MPLS Cloud
2 different service providers and we require load sharing/balancing to both SP1 and SP2.
If either of the SP's PE router is down it should bring up the standby link.
2 ASN, not sure if I can load share different prefixes in this scenario.
    Will the applications fail?
Will the traffic flow be symmetric ?
Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    Hello Paul,
if you are using a single CE router on each site.
to get load-balancing on your CEx:
    router bgp X
    maximum-paths 2
eBGP load-balancing is easier so 2 ISP ASN is fine
Verify that you have flow based load-balancing and everything should be fine.
Notice that you have a failure on site N of provider1 you can be able to detect it in all remote sites only if they are receiving the routes of all the sites. If receiving a default route there's no way for other sites to detect the failure.
If receiving all the prefixes after MP-BGP convergence in ISP1 site N's prefixes will be withdrawn and will be reachable only via ISP2.
    To use an active/standby
    on all Cex
    router bgp x
    neighbor PE-ISP1 weigth 500
    neighbor PE-ISP1 fast-external-fallover
in this way until a prefix is present in ISP1 MP-BGP traffic is sent via ISP1
If using two CE in each site things are a little more complex and you need an iBGP session between them.
    Hope to help
    Giuseppe
