Tracing Information from report
Dear All,
Tracing the information from the report to the cube to the ODS to the infosource and then potentially back to the table in R/3. What are the common reasons for data discrepancy between R/3 and BW.
Thanks
Kumar
Hi Kumar,
The reasons could be many:
1. The data in a cube would be summarised which though not a discrepancy is often misunderstood as one.
2. Filtering of data may cause data discrepancy.
3. Data transformations in the update/transfer rules is one of the cause.
4. Modification of the data in the PSA.
5. Duplicacy of data is another major reason.
Bye

Hi all,
Is there any way to get infromtion in VC from standard report? (for example S_AHR_61016354 - Telephone Directory )
Maxim.Hi Maxim,
What exactly do you mean by from a standard report? Is this a BW query? or an ECC ABAP Report?
The first is by using the query object and dragging this into your work area, if you are referring to the second you need to create a Function Module wrapper around your Report and pull the information into your model that way.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,

Print information from a row - Report Builder 3.0 - printer button option?
Does Report Builder have any way of printing information from a row selection onto a page, rather than the whole report? I don't think it has a print button option when you create the report?
Hi KittyCat101,
According to your description, you want to select some particular rows when printing the report. Just as you said, there is no such feature in Reporting Services.
To work around this issue, we can create a parameter with the key field value in the report. Then we can print the particular rows based on the selection in the parameter. For more details, please see:
Create a multiple parameter named filter in the report.
Specify Available Values and Default Values from the dataset key field which is acted as filter when printing the report.
Add a filter as below in the tablix:
Expression: [Key field]
Operator: In
Value: [@filter]
When we render the report in report builder, it displays all data. While we can select the particular rows in the drop-down list when we want to print the report.
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Katherine Xiong

How can I get CDP neighbor information from access point reports in Cisco Prime 2.0
How can I get CDP neighbor information from access point reports in Cisco Prime 2.0? I have looked through all the reports and I cannot find a report that gives me the CDP neighbor information of an access point. I thought that information was in there, however I cannot seem to find it.
Thanks in advance!Hi
You can get this from an inventory report in PI (Select Report Type AP). Here is an example of PI 2.1 works for me. Once you export this into excel you can sort based on controllers & filter the single controller connected AP you want.

Information from two views in one report
I posted a thread earlier but I think I was little amibiguous about my problem and posted too much info. on the background of the problem maybe I can clarify.
I have a report on a view TRK_CALLS_VIEW. This is dblinked to a table. Columns include
User_
Assigned_to
Problem
Solution
Status
Here is my region source code:
SELECT webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.ID, webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.USER_, webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.ASSIGNED_TO, webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.PROBLEM, webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.SOLUTION, webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW.STATUS
FROM webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW
WHERE
( STATUS = 'Open' and :P2_REPORT_SEARCH is null )
or
( regexp_like( USER_ || '#' || ASSIGNED_TO || '#' || PROBLEM || '#' ||
SOLUTION || '#' || STATUS, :P2_REPORT_SEARCH, 'i' ) )
I want to include columns from another view in the report. TRK_USER_VIEW.
Columns include:
id
lname
fname
User_ from TRK_CALLS_VIEW contains the same number as id in TRK_USER_VIEW.
How would I add this to my existing code and have the names corespond to the correct id
Thanksso in the above code you can see that both the webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW and webb.TRK_USER_VIEW have some column that are named the same. eg/ "USER_","id". That is fine as SQL has provided a means to uniquely identify the columns. When you join these two views together and try to select or reference either the USER_ or id column without specifying which view you want to get the information from then that creates ambiguity and the compiler does not know if you want the USER_ form view 1 or view 2 and thus there is an error.
To solve this issue we need to use . (dot) notation to specify the object (in this case view) which holds the column we want. We will also alias columns which share the same name. Here is how we would modify the above SQL statement:
SELECT
------ View 1 ------
tcv.ID "TCV_ID", -- ID has been aliased to a unique name.
tcv.USER_,
tcv.ASSIGNED_TO,
tcv.PROBLEM,
tcv.SOLUTION,
tcv.STATUS,
------ View 2 -------
tuv.id "TUV_ID", -- ID has been aliased to a unique name.
tuv.lname,
tuv.fname
-- also i used the alias tcv and tuv so that i could refer to the views by just using the alias rather than the lengthy view name.
FROM webb.TRK_CALLS_VIEW tcv,
webb.TRK_USER_VIEW tuv
-- This is where we JOIN the views on a key value. In this case USER_.
-- Always make sure your joins are the first portion of your where clause.
WHERE tcv.USER_ = tuv.USER_
-- I have explicetly referenced the view i want the column to come from by putting
-- "tcv." infront of each column name. This tells the compiler to use TRK_CALLS_VIEW
AND ( tcv.STATUS = 'Open' and :P2_REPORT_SEARCH is null )
OR ( regexp_like( tcv.USER_ || '#' || tcv.ASSIGNED_TO || '#' || tcv.PROBLEM || '#' ||
tcv.SOLUTION || '#' || tcv.STATUS, :P2_REPORT_SEARCH, 'i' ) )
{code}

WWI-server reporting - population of information from 1 substance
Hi,
I would like to include the CAS-number from each Hazardous Ingredient on one MSDS output (by using WWI-server concept).
The Hazardous Ingredients are maintained in the Specification Workbench and therefore the information is already available in the system. But is it possible to populate information from out of more substance propoerties or identifiers to one MSDS output (through WWI-server and MS-Word wizard tooling)?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Roy DerksHi Roy,
Its not possible to print CAS numbers for all the Hazrad Inducers in a single document; coz the CAS number maintained in property trees of specification management for each specification; all the hazard inducers are assigned to DG clasifcation; and in each classification DG regulations are maintaned and the hazard inducers are assigned to each regulations.More than all, Hazard inducers are not maitained CAS numbers; but UN number is maintained;
In ur query you mensioned hazardous ingradient, if it is so pls let me know; I will check whether it is possible or not.

Connecting to db2 from report builder via odbc
Hi!
Some manuals said, it is possible to connect to DB2 from Oracle SQL*Plus (we have version 8.0.6.0.0)
and from Oracle Report Builder.(6.0.8.11.3)
User must install OCA (Oracle Open Client Adapter for ODBC (6.0.5.29.0)) and make ODBC entry.
I did it.
run with: plus80 db2user/db2pass@odbc:db2test
SQL*Plus made the connection, but with errors:
SQL*Plus: Release 8.0.6.0.0 - Production on Fri Oct 17 16:12:56 2003
(c) Copyright 1999 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
ORA-00022: invalid session id; access denied
ORA-00022: invalid session id; access denied
ORA-00022: invalid session id; access denied
Error accessing PRODUCT_USER_PROFILE
Warning: Product user profile information not loaded!
You may need to run PUPBLD.SQL as SYSTEM
Server not available or version too low for this feature
ORA-00022: invalid session id; access denied
Connected to:
Oracle Open Client Adapter for ODBC 6.0.5.29.0
DB2/NT 08.01.0000
SQL>
The error refers PUPBLD.SQL, but I think it is Oracle specific, don't help.
Worse, that it can't connect from Report Builder, it just throws error.
If I set OCA_DEBUG=TRUE in registry, I have bonus messages:
oca-30053 unsupported network call (oracle code: 3115)
oca-30002 ubofssw function not supported (1010)
I tried to connect to MsAcces too, but I got same errors.
Have you any idea, how can I solve this?
Thanksresolved
I just add the master entry in the c:\Report\NET80\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora, and it works.
but I can't connect with the system or sys accounts, it work just with scott/tiger. -
"Unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services" Any ideas?
I upgraded to iTunes 7.7 last night and now I get an annoying constant stream of errors that read "AppleMobileDeviceHelper has stopped working". Multiple reinstalls have not stopped it.
Against my better judgement, I upgraded my phone to 2.0. Found out that I lost everything on my phone. It is activated and will work but I cannot sync it with iTunes. All I get is a message stating, "iTunes was unable to load dataclass information from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later."
iTunes won't recognize my phone. I can move songs and stuff to it by drop and drag but if I click the "iPhone" in iTunes, nothing happens. I put my phone in recovery mode. iTunes linked to it and reinstalled 2.0 but I still get the same problem.
I'm real frustrated and Apple has not posted anything about this problem.
Does anyone have any ideas on what is the going on? Is my phone nerfed?Try disabling your firewall, virus SW, and if it still won't sync, I would try disabling the communications services one by one until it clears. When I'm troubleshooting this sort of problem, I first look into the system reports (MY Computer, (right-click) manage, event viewer, Windows Logs, and look into each of the sub log sections for the error. This will often point you in the right direction. If this fails, I do a clean boot with all extraneous run-times and services disabled. usually the problem will be solved. I then start turning on the various run-time routines and services until I find the culprit.
My attitude about this is that I won't waste my time chasing problems like this unless they are critical. Paying $$$ for a 3G iPhone and then having to troubleshoot the SW is not my cup of tea. I only pursued this because my wife and both kids got 3G's but I have them running both XP and Vista. One Vista machine synced OK, but mine would not. Intellectual curiosity led to find out why.

How can we retrieve the Payload information from B2B
Hello,
We are trying to send the payload information back to the client for a failed BPEL Transaction from B2B's b2b_instancemessage view. We are enqueing messages to IP_OUT_QUEUE using BPEL. We see the payload coming correctly in the B2B Business Message Reports. But we don't see the payload coming in the b2b_instancemessage view for failed B2B transactions. How can we see the payload in b2b_instancemessage view for failed B2B transactions as well? or How can we retrieve the Payload information from B2B?
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks. - Sam.

How can i see Log information of Report Run Time?
Hi Gurus,
How can i see Log information of Report Run Time?, till now i am counted report run time manually. Is there any way i can see the workbook running time in log information?.
Thanks & Regards
VikramThere could be a few things -
At one time, you needed to run a separate script to create the tables. I'm not sure that is still the case. If you check the Administrators guide, look into the chapter that deals with the EUL Status Workbooks.
If you are not logged on as the eul owner, you may not have select privileges, or you may need to qualify the table with the schema (if there is no synonym) - select * from <eul_owner>.EUL5_QPP_STATS;
If you are on 4i, the table is EUL4_QPP_STATS -
SP 2013 Server + Dec 2013 CU. Upgrading from SharePoint 2010.

Does not seem like the same exact problem.
Any additional input?
Thanks, Soumya | MCITP, SharePoint 2010Hi,
“All but one database are upgradable. However, one database gives:
Invalid object name 'Webs'.”
Did the sentence you mean only one database not upgrade to SharePoint 2013 and given the error?
One or more of the following might be the cause:
Insufficient SQL Server database permissions
SQL Server database is full
Incorrect MDAC version
SQL Server database not found
Incorrect version of SQL Server
SQL Server collation is not supported
Database is read-only
To resolve the issue, you can refer to the following article which contains the causes and resolutions.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee513056(v=office.14).aspx

Jason

Credit Memo DFF does not contain information from the original invoice line
Hi
Customer is facing issue mentioned in Note: 364999.1
Issue: Created a credit memo against the invoice and noticed that the resulting credit memo lines do not contain the DFF information from the original invoice lines.
I found through Metalink that this issue was reported to Oracle for release 11.5.7.
Looks like the fix was to provide a check box in RAXSUMSC.fmb.
- One off Patch for 11.5.7 - Bug / Patch 2803629 (one-off patch)
- One off Patch for 11.5.8 - Bug / Patch 3411221 (one-off patch)
- 11.5.9 - nothing available !!!!
As per bug 2675652 the issue was fixed in a file RAXSUMSC.fmb, version 115.41 This BUG shows that it has been fixed by in 11.5.10
Customer is using 11.5.9 which has RAXSUMSC.fmb, version 115.40, we cant apply patches for 11.5.7 or 11.5.8 that are available.
Any pointers on what can be done ?
Thanks,Hi Pat,
the project code (PC) on the marketing document may only be applied to the business partner (BP), hence the only row in the associated journal entry (JE) with this project code is that of the BP.
You can link project codes to specific accounts (CoA -> select account -> account details -> project code) & this project code will then be assigned every time the account is found in a JE.
If you require the project code to be applied to the freight, you may assign this project code to the account you have defined for this freight. The drawback is naturally that the project code will then be pulled every time this freight is used, regardless of whether or not the PC is associated with the BP or not.
It is possible to manually assign project codes to every row in a journal entry, hence this should also be possible with SDK. You might explore the possibility whether it might be possible to automatically assign the BP PC to all rows in the JE using a script.
All the best,
Kerstin -
