Hi all i have a fully working Nokia X6 at last but thats another story
As the Subject says what one. I been reading up on them both for a day or to and can not work out what one is the better software
So views and opions on what one to get and why would be great.
Please give reasons though dont just say wavesecure because it better thanks all

I didn't know about Track and Protect, i had Wavesecure for years. I found it on the trackandprotect website and tried it out of curiousity. To test i had to buy some credits, 4,99 Euro is the minimal charge, good for 15 credits. Credits where needed to send sms with executable commands to your phone. After some tests I decided tp delete Wavesecure and stick to Track and Protect., so thanks for the tip Track and Protect is much more professional and has lots of more features and they all work great. Remote camera control and call back i never see before. Location requests are extremely fast and very accurate, it was spot on for me. Track and Protect also even works after sim change.
I also found a new video of Track and Protect on Youtube. It shows the App for Android.I think that after you see this video you will understand why i think track and Protect is better And again, you can still control your phone after someone changed the sim

Unfortunely, Track and Protect is not available for non-Android or Symbian OS powered Sony Ericsson handsets. We had many requests for this, and it is something that we would really like to do for you, but we're bound to current technical limitations of these phones. I buy Track and Protect, it woks without problem. I make one check to find the phone and is ok.
They give a recomendation: buy the credits before if you wont control the mobile in the future problems
I buy credits all.
For a problem I must change the phone number and I can't to translate de credits of

Track and Protect on N8

I am using Track and Protect on my N8, probably the most valuable App there is for ANY phone. I blocked the installer by using that option in the menu, a great option, but now i have to use passcode even when installing a new App. Anybody know how to change this? I read review on my-symbian this is possible?

Track and protect on N9

It is a preinstalled security app.
What I do not understand - the app can be deactivated within 2 seconds (open app, change status from active to inactive) and this is not even password protected. So how should it protect my phone? Unless I let it automatically lock every 10 minutes, which is a bit annoying when you get forced to type in your hopefully secure (=long and complicated) code everytime you want to use it.
Of course - maybe I should just switch off the phone just before it gets stolen???

There is nothing that you can do in this situation unfortunately, except to get SIM blocked by your network provider.

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. Constantconnect and Protect 2.0

I have read some PR news about Lenovo teaming with Yoggie to create a device "Constantconnect and Protect 2.0", which is the blend of Lenovo's Constantconnect expresscard and Yoggie's security expresscard.
I am trying to learn more about this device (availibility, etc.) as I recently deployed a few T400s into our business and was upset to learn that the constantconnect card we purchased was a 54mm expresscard and would therefore not work.
After many hours googling for a solution I came upon this new device, which is 34mm, awesome! If anyone can shed some light on this product development I might be able to rest easier. We travel and use blackberries a lot, this is a promising device, regardless of what others may think.

I have exactly the same G5 as you (but with more RAM) and I also have the MBP 17" C2D 2.33 GHz.
as far as I can tell, my MBP is more powerful running logic than my G5 is. I don't think you'll have any trouble getting your work done on the MBP you are looking at. in fact, you might even find that if a project you are working on gets close to pushing the MBP to its limits, it won't even play without freezing tracks on your G5.
the only thing to keep in mind is that you have more limited i/o options on the laptop.. meaning that if you are expecting to use an audio interface with many inputs and outputs working simultaneously, as well as a fast external firewire drive, then you'll be pushing the boundaries of your firewire bus to get enough bandwidth. whereas on the desktop machine, your extra drive space can be internal drives that have their own SATA bus, and your audio i/o can be either FW or PCI. but if you're just composing and producing music on the machine, without trying to record 26 simultaneous audio tracks and streaming vienna orchestra sounds off of a firewire drive all at once, then you won't have any trouble.

In iTunes, is there any way to play one song at at time and have the song stop at its end. I want to play guitar with a track and have that track stop playing rather than going to the next song.

I want to play a single song in iTunes on my ipad and have the track stop when the song finishes, rather than itunes playing the next track. I play guitar with the track and need iTunes to stop at the end of the song.
I have worked around this issue by creating a separate play list for each song, then inserting the song into the play list. I would like to find a more straight forward solution that would eliminate this extra step. On my PC, I use QuickTime to bring up an individual song and then can play one track at a time.

On the IPod if the shuffle icon is colored blue it is ON, if it is colored white it is OFF. This control is global, if it is ON any album or list will be shuffled.

I work in education and particularly music. Teachers are looking to create a playlist of selected track but only want the selected track to play then stop.
This allows them to talk to the class during presentation and not worry about having to stop playback mid discussion.
I've been successful doing this from appleTVs homeshared to a library by unchecking songs in the playlist. But It would be useful to instructors who have there own media on their device.

For what its worth to any readers that work in education and would like this play once and stop 'feature'
I had great success in homeshareing a iTunes library of teaching material and creating topic specific playlist and used apple remote app to control an appletv connected to that homeshared library. As TXMark suggests, uncheck the songs in iTunes and the media will not automatically play the tracks in sequence.
note: if you have video media that you would like to have in the playlist, be sure its listed as a music video in the options of get info of track. otherwise the apple tv will not see the media in the playlist and will put it in the movies section of the library.

The only way to stop after a song is to create a playlist consisting of only that song.

When I unplug my headphones my music pauses. But when I plug them back in the controls won't restart the music and I must go to the list of tracks and select a new one to start again

I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.04
If I am listening to music using my Apple earphones when I pull the earphones out the music pauses as expected. However, when I go back and plug the earphones in and try to play on with the music nothing happens and I have to go back to the list of tracks and select a new one from the start.
This also is impacting my listening to music from my iPhone on my motorcuycle audio system. The iPhone is plugged into a USB port on the bike and prior to iOS7 always resumed playing music from wherever it was in a track and displayed the music track name on the bike info panel.
Since upgrading now the music won't start and again I have to pull the iphone out of the glovebox and go back to the list of tracks and select a new track. But the moment the power interrupts or the nav audio cuts in and switches from iPod the music pauses and doen't restart as it always did.
Apple, what have you done?? You have basically taken the very first App that made the iPod exist and stop it functioning properly. When are you going to fix this or is there already some obscure setting that needs to be changed but that is not prominently displayed in settings anywhere? How can I make my iPhone function as an iPod properly again for my music needs?

Nothing wrong, no panic. Some general remarks:
a. the battery will not be charged when over 95% full; a full battery is not charged
b. it is good for the battery to have it go down to about 50% before recharging, say once a week at least.
c. never let the battery go down completely, so that it shuts off on its own: that is very bad for a modern smart Li battery.
d. sometimes the old "battery calibration" procedure is advised, you should not do that.
trick: when you click the little battery icon in the top menu bar, you also see if there is a heavy energy user running.

Problems with Refresh / Deleting Tracks and Album ...

There are times when refreshing the Music Player library either won't complete (eg: after you've dropped the phone popping out the battery in the middle of a refresh .. or is that just me?) or deleted tracks and album art won't disappear from the Music library after a refresh.
These problems are often down to corruption of the library and the only thing to do is to delete the library files and start over. Even a hard reset of the phone won't fix this as the files are stored on the card / mass memory.
To delete the library files:
- Ensure you can see hidden files in Windows Explorer:
Windows Explorer .. Tools .. Folder Options .. View
Select "Show hidden files and folders"
- Connect the phone to your PC using the USB cable in "Data transfer" mode
- Find and rename (or delete if you're really brave) files with names like:
E:\private\101FFC31\mpxv1.mpd
E:\private\101FFC31\pcv5.mpd
E:\private\101ffca9\harvesterdb.dat
(assuming the phone's mass memory / card has been connected as E
Note that the folder names may be different and the files may have prefixes - eg: mpxv1.mpd could be called abcmpxv1.mpd. Basically, you need to search under the Private folder for any files that look similar.
If you rename files - eg: by adding a ".o" to the end of the name - instead of deleting them, you can always just change the name back if you find you need those files back.
- Refresh the Music Player library
This will take longer than normal as it's a complete refresh, but it should now work.

What version of Workspace Manager are you using ? I tested this with 9.2.0.4 and everything worked as expected. I was unable to update the row from the WK2 workspace after refreshing it.
Please note that after removing WK1, all locks that had been held by the WK1 workspace are dropped. So, when you update the row for a second time, you are actually locking the row that had been merged(which is contained in the TOP workspace) and not the row from the LIVE workspace. So any workspace that references the row from the LIVE workspace, and not the one from the TOP workspace, would be able to update the row.
This is the case that exists before refreshing WK2. However, after refreshing WK2, it will then use the row from the TOP workspace. Since this row is locked it would be unable update the row.
