Tracker 0.8.3 and file content indexing

Hi forum,
yesterday I decided to reinstall meta tracker for indexing my system but I had some problems: I don't need to index file contents, I just want to index file names and the possibility to tag files. But in the tracker config dialog there isn't any kind of check box for disabling the content indexing. Does anyone know how to disable file content indexing and why is this option disabled in tracker 0.8.3-1?

In XI (internal) all XML message are based on the XI Message Protocol.

XI Protocol is nothing but an SAP XI extension of SOAP protocol and SOAP protocol is nothing but a SOAP request in a HTTP protocol. SOAP request is nothing but SOAP extension of an XML message. Hence finally it drill downs to the fact that XI message is in fact an XML message with some extra information in the header which are SAP specific like the SAP Runtime, SAP Hoplist, etc...
File Content Conversion
Integration Engine understands only XML messages.Now if u r handling normal text file such as 'tab separated' file,'# separated' file, or a CSV file, you need to convert the content of the file to XML and File Content Conversion mechanism helps to do this job.This File Content conversion mechanism(option)is present with the File Adapters.both Sender and Receiver.

Mail Adapter and File content conversion.

I have a scenario to send data from SAP to 4 different boards. I have used a Multi mapping for this scenario. I am using Proxy for SAP to xi and SOAP, File and Mail adapter for the external connections.
Questions:
1) I need to send a mail in CSV or Excell format in one scenario. I have used AF_StrictXml2Plain Module but its not working? any thoughts?
2) In the file adapter I have to add the YYYYMMDD (current Date) to the file name? when I use timestamp i get the time too, any way of getting only date? I cant use the Variable substitution as i dont have date in my payload.
3) Receiver File content conversion:
My Message Type Looks like this

I have used these parameters:

Make sure u are using the bean before the mail adapter bean.
Before using the file content conversion make sure that there are no substructures in it , in order to use addheader line as 0. else use addheaderline 3 and give the headerline as comma seperated values

Loading File name and file contents into two separate tables using Sqlloadr

I have situtation like to load File contents into One table and File name into one table . File comes with .txt extension
Example :
File name : product_09_abc.txt
File contents :
Productcode

CDE
EFT
Can you please help me out this how can we acheive this using SQLLOADER.

SQL*Loader will not pass through the filename for you to be able to insert into a table.
You will need to have a controlling o/s script that picks up the file name, calls sql*loader and then also call's an SQL script (using sql*plus?) to insert the filename into a.n.other table.

File Name and File Content not gettinng passed from Proxy to Business Serv

I have a requirement in OSB , where i need to pick the file from remote Source and FTP the files to Remote Target .Below are the steps which i did to achieve this.
1.Created a FTP Adapter in JDeveloper to Get the files from Source and a FTP Adpater to Put the files to Target.Inboth the adapters i have choose 'Shema is Opaque'
2.Imported the wsdl and jca file to OSB
3.Generated Proxy Service (PS ) and Business service (BS) out of Step 2
4.I edited the Message flow such a way that , the PS is routed to invoke the BS
Aslo i assigned $inbound/ctx:transport/ctx:request/tp:headers/jca:jca.file.FileName to a variable 'FileName' in PS
and in BS service i passed $outbound/ctx:transport/ctx:request/tp:headers/jca:jca.ftp.FileName = 'FileName'
When i tried to activate my session , the file that is getting written to the target has 0 byte.Also , the file name is also not getting passed from PS to BS
Can some one help me with the steps on how to use the Xpath , so as to pass the file name and file body from proxy servive to business service.

I search multiple shares to find a common file name then create a single output file. I will be doing this search and file creation
for 5-10 different file names. If there is a better way .. certainly open for suggestions. It's working but having issue with
the cmd file for every file and folder I check. It puts this error out for each run of the process.
Error message in LOG file:
Get-ChildItem : Cannot find path 'F:\powershell\-SearchFor' because it does not exist.

My track pad highlights applications and files and then opens them without my doing anything. I run MacKeeper and having run the scan several times only get cleaning issues (5 -). Any ideas as MacKeeper Kromtech have not responded to my calls nor email.

I run an iMac. Today for some reason when I run the cursor across the screen applications and files are highlighted and then opened without me doing anything (no clicking etc) In fact print at times opens. As far as I can tell I have not changed any settings except to open firewall.
I run MacKeeper and when I run a scan only a few cleaning items open. Safe and fast are as they should be. I run fix. If I again run the scan I get a few more but different claeing items to fix.
I have rung MacKeeper several times without getting through. The occasion I did get through the bloke said he could not help and passed me to a higher authority. Needless to say the line dropped out after 30 minutes waiting.
As it is the weekend and I do not live near an Apple store I am quite keen to get the problem identified and fixed so I can continue working.

Remove the "MacKeeper" scam product as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.

File Content Indexing (not Spotlight)

I have a fairly large collection of PDF documents (over 10,000) that I migrated from a Linux system on which I used Google Desktop to find the files I needed. For the most part, these files have meaningless names and are unorganized. The saving grace of the old Google Desktop was that it showed excerpts and titles from the search hits it produced, and this allowed me to actually find the document I was looking for. It also provided both keyword and phrase / string search.
As far as I can tell (please correct me if I'm wrong), Spotlight hits, while based on content (as well as file names) do not include any sort of excerpt from the files produced as hits. For me this renders it nearly useless.
Furthermore, I just discovered that support for Google Desktop is discontinued with Snow Leopard and its putative replacement, Google Search Bar, adds nothing to the actual capabilities of Spotlight for local document discovery.
Can someone recommend a tool that will help me find documents in my on-line library? Since this is something I rely on for my work, a commercial product is acceptable.

Multi mapping and File Content Conversion

No,you dont need to add extra tags.
Those tags are only for XI internal processing.

Content Index State: Failed and Suspended Exchange Server 2013

On my passive Server "Content Index State" mailbox database is still Failed and Suspended for almost a week.
Actions Taken to Resolve the Issue:
- Update-mailboxdatabasecopy
-Delete the exisiting folder of database on passive server and run database copy on EAC
Still got FAILED AND SUSPENDED content index state.
Need some advice guys..

Finder not able to view folders and files on EHD after updating to OS X 10.9.4

I can see still see 'Hitachi' in the 'Devices' Sidebar, but I am not able to view folders and files on this Hitachi XL2000 2TB FAT32 Hard Drive (EHD) that is USB connected to the iMac below.
Late 2013 Apple iMac (27-inch Display 2560 x 1440), 3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz, 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2X4GB, 512GB Flash Storage, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2GB GDDR5, Magic Trackpad, Apple Wireless Keyboard and OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks
All was fine until I updated from OS X 10.9.3 to 10.9.4 earlier this week, so now when I double-click on 'Hitachi' it just loads and loads with nothing happening and never displays the folder and file contents of the EHD.
Also, confirmed that Hitachi EHD has been removed from Spotlight indexing per System Preferences > Privacy > + > Hitachi and it was so this does not seem to be an indexing issue.
I have used OnyX and Apple Disk Utilities unsuccessfully to try and fix this problem.
Interestingly, Backblaze online backup still sees the EHD and connecting this EHD to a Win 8.1 PC also sees the EHD.
Further, I ran the commands below in 'Terminal' to make sure the drive was visible and got the following results which shows that the EHD is not hidden.

Finally, I installed XtraFinder and am still not able to see the contents of the EHD, but when I installed OmniDiskSweeper I can navigate the EHD folder tree with no problems and can see the contents of the EHD, but when I try and open up a file it opens Finder which loads and loads and nothing happens.

Apple Support was quite helpful, but in the end I will wait to do a clean install of OS X Yosemite which is due in the Fall and not try and fix OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks.
It turns out that I run backups on my '/Users/john/Library' and the size of this folder before the 10.9.4 update was 1.07 GB and after the update it is 806.9 MB which is baffling, but in the end all of these problems should be resolved with a clean install of OS X Yosemite.
One lesson learned for the future is that I will wait on installing an update until it has been in the wild for awhile as a quick OS X Mavericks Finder Problem search and similar searches show there could be an issue.

File-Sender: Verification of file content during file content conversion

I have a question regarding file verification when using the file-sender adapter.
I got a flat file (.csv) that I convert into XML with the file-sender adapter and file-content-conversion.
In the file there is a column RecTyp that is my KeyFieldValue. Possible values for RecTyp are B, D, U, T.
So far so good. All this works perfectly.
If (due to an error) there is another value in RecTyp than the 4 mentioned above (B;D;U;T) the file adapter ignores this row today. And here begins my issue:
I want to change this behavior. That means in detail, I want to check if there is another value in my KeyFieldValue RecTyp than specified. If this is the case an exception should be thrown. The whole message should not be delivered.
We had the idea to use the module-processor for this verification.
But may be there are other suggestions. Or may be some one can provide an appropriate module that is already written, etc.
Does anyone have an idea?

It is better to pick the file in generic way i.e Row by Row and then go with the validation with the help of Adapter Modules or in the Mapping.

Database passive content index state stays FailedAndSuspended even after reseeding

I have a mailbox database with two copies in a database availability group, the active copy is healthy and its content index state reports healthy as well, the passive copy is healthy but its content index state reports FailedAndSuspended.
I tried the: Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy <DBName>\<ServerName> -CatalogOnly more than one time, it completes (says 100KB written) but the state never changes.
I even tried to manually stop the service>delete CI>start the service, the CI folder was recreated (about 1 GB) but still the state is still FailedAndSuspended.
Please Help!

My home page is google and it works but when I open a new tab it displays an error message :Firefox can't find the file at chrome://quick_start/content/index.ht

I've made sure a dozen times that my home page is set correctly, and when I hit the home button next to the search bar it works and takes me right to google BUT whenever i open a new tab i get the error that my page cannot load and the web url that it keeps trying to remember is in the error message:
Firefox can't find the file at chrome://quick_start/content/index.html.
of course the last dot is not the url anymore but the end of the sentence for the error message, but i don't ever use chrome ever on my laptop only my cell so what is going on????? help fix god please!!!!!!

Reading and writing to file , getting null when i try to read file content

i start by apologizing incase i have posted this question in the wrong forum
i am trying to iterate through a directory tree and pick all the subdirectories and put them in an arraylist . on the other hand , i am picking all the files and putting them in a different arraylist . After that i iterate through the arraylist , pick a folder , create a file in it search for all the files of the same type in its subfolders and write them to the newly created file
The problem i am running into is i i can't read the files and hence i can't write to the file .
My directory tree is in the format

               {Are you trying to compare parentPath and directory.getParent() as Strings ? How about using equals() ?
Also are you aware that a single & and && are not one and the same ?
& will check nevertheless even if the string comparison on the parentPath returns true or false.
&& will not check file.getName() part if the String comparison part fails.

never gets executed executed (meaning ,according to the code, the files am reading have no content ). i am a bit new to files and directories in java . i am hence seeking advice on what i could be doing wrong .IN short,debugging your code will help you a lot.
