How do I transfer Logic tracks from Macbook Pro to My Mac Pro tower?

Logic saves projects in the Logic folder, found in the Music folder.
Projects are saved into folders, which contain the Logic file, and any associated audio files, freeze files, bounces, et cetera.
These projects can be dragged to an external drive, a USB thumb drive, or sent via wi-fi over AirDrop.

  • HT5624 How can I track the MACbook Pro that just used my apple ID to log into iCloud?  (I just got an email stating that someone just used it?)

    Here is the email:
Your Apple ID ([email protected]) was used to sign in to iCloud on a MacBook Pro 13".  I had a MacBook Pro stolen in January and I'm wondering if someone was using that stolen computer to login??
Anyway to track the computer trying to log in using my other Apple ID?

If you activated the Find My iPhone service (in System preferences>icloud), then you can try to track it.  Using another computer's browser, log into icloud.com and look at the Find My iPhone page.  On a device, invoke the Find My iPhone app (get it for free at the itunes app store) and log into the icloud account.  Note:  The Find My iPhone **app** does not turn on the service, you can only do that through Settings>icloud.
If the mac is listed as "offline", then you can't track it.

  • Hi, I need to know about tracking stolen MacBook Pro,

My MacBook Pro was stolen, so I need to know how to track it back by serial number. Can I track it by serial number?
I bought the Macbook Pro in the United States, but right now I'm living in Laos where my Macbook Pro was stolen.
As I know there's no Apple Store here, so is there any way that could help me tracking it back?
I didn't set up iClouds, what I just have here is serial number.

Sorry about your loss, but it's likely never to be recovered and you probably won't want it back anyway.

  • Track lost MacBook Pro without iCloud?

I believe I've lost my MacBook Pro. I never installed iCloud. Is there any way I can track its location, or is the lesson I'm learning now that I should have installed iCloud? I have my serial number, if that helps at all.

You'll have to go back or host your own CalDAV/CardDAV server.
There is a third-party sync software out there that seems to be nearing release, soon.

  • Tracking Lost Macbook Pro

I lost my MacBook Pro. I tried tracking it by using the "Find my Iphone" app. However, only my iphone and ipad show up on the app. Is there a way to add my mac book pro to the devices on the "Find my Iphone" app if I don't have direct access to my Mac Book?  Icloud is enabled on my mac book, but I never enabled "Find my Iphone" on the computer. I also have past emails from apple alerting me that I've logged onto the computer with my apple ID. In the emails it specifically describes my computer, with the model, OS, and name of my computer. So, apple was able to identify my computer with my apple ID. Is there a way to track my mac book through my apple id?

No, there is not. Find My Mac must be active before you lose it, it requires access to the Mac (physical access) in order to turn it on.

  • Is it possible to track a MacBook Pro without having it registered on "Find my iPhone"

I recently lost my MacBook Pro and wanted to track it. However, I have not installed "Find my iPhone". Is thee any other way of finding it?

Yes, with third-party software that must have been installed prior to losing the computer. There is no other way.
What To Do If Your iDevice or Computer Is Lost Or Stolen
    iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad
If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.
If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

  • Since maverick download my inbuilt track pad (macbook pro) is hit and miss with scrolling up and down (this is safari, chrome and FF)

Since maverick (os X 10.9.1) has been installed my track pad on my mac book pro (late 2011) is hit and miss, reset it worked for a bit then seems to die. Doesn't matter what application I am using. This is on all internet browsers as well FF, Safari and chrome.
I took it to the apple store and they couldnt find anything wrong with it (as ive had other issues with it such as a kernal panic and optical drive spitting out dvds and not burning cds properly)
Its only scrolling it seems to have an issue with. All the othe gestures are fine ive even tried switching all the gesture off and on again, restarting the mac but the same problem persits a while later. It can be working for 10minutes or 8 hours and then boom no longer works.

Remove Growl, DiVXHTML and other DIVX software (use MPEG4Streamclip or Smartconverter or Wondershare Videoconverter for videos you need to convert for your own use, and not for giving to others unless you own the copyright for it).  Update your Adobe Flash from http://www.adobe.com/
Shut down  Parallels except when you need to use.  Disable Citrix and your File Sharing for VPN or remote access for Citrix except for when you use remote access.  Find out how to remove Peerguardian.  The Mac has its own firewall which blocks all except ping attacks through Apple menu -> System Preferences -> File Sharing.  Use a hardware router to block ping attacks.  Parallels has its own built-in networking firewall for Parallels itself.

  • Can I track my macbook pro retina which was stolen?

I Just lose my laptop and it was stolen, is there any way I can track it?

Did you ever enable Find My Mac?  If not, your only recourse is to report your stolen computer to the police and notify your homeowners insurance company.  If purchased with a credit card, you may have theft coverage through them.  Call them and ask.

my left click does not work on my track pad on my macbook pro 13 inch, is there a fix

I recommend you to run Apple Hardware Test > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1509 It's possible that something is damaged, and Apple Hardware Test will help you finding it. Make sure you tick the option to run an extended test, and connect your Mac to the charger.
If your Mac came with DVDs, you have to insert the Mac OS X DVD to run Apple Hardware Test. As you haven't got the SuperDrive, you will have to buy an external optical drive

  • I am getting electric current type shocks whilst using my track pad on my macbook pro. This happens when it is both plugged in to charge and also unplugged. I am left with a constant type pain of prickly pins and needles even when I am not using it.

I have recently bought a Macbook pro and have noticed that I am getting an electric current running up my fingers when using the track pad. This happens when it is charging but most worryingly it happens when it is not plugged in. It leaves me with pins and needles type feeling in my hand and arm even when I am not using it. Also when I sit it on my lap I get the same electrical current in my legs and down to my feet.
Surely this cannot be what I should expect with an apple product?, has anyone else experienced this?.
Yesterday I couldn't bare to use it the current was so strong.  I went out for the rest of the day and suffered with pins and prickly needles all day.

Two possible courses of action suggest themselves:
    (1) Return your computer immediately to point of purchase and/or authorized service provider.
    or
    (2) Consult with your doctor about your neurological symptoms.

  • MacBook Pro Keyboard and tracking pad issues

I bought a refurbed macbook pro from Apple about 10 months ago. I've loved everything about it . . . until now. Yesterday I turned it on and started having keyboard issues. First the y key wouldn't work, then the rest of the keys followed. At that point, it was still starting up normally, but then the tracking pad would only "right click" on items on my desk top, so I couldn't open applications.
Now it will only open up in safe mode and it makes a noise like I'm pressing all the keys at once at start-up. Nothing happened to it between Saturday night when it was working perfectly and Sunday morning so I'm mystified. I brought it to the genius bar this morning and they also couldn't see what was wrong. Genius said something about how some keys looked "stuck" but mentioned it didn't looked like anything was spilled on it or anything.
The only "weird" thing about it is that the hing between the screen and the keyboard has always been a little loose but I didn't know until my husband bought a new pro a few months later and I felt the difference. The genius didn't seem to think that would mean anything.
They told me it would be at least $280 to send it out, diagnose, and fix it. Considering it's less than a year old, I'm a little reluctant (and poor) to do that right way especially since he had no clue what the problem might be.
I'm planning on trying another Genius Bar to see if they might have a better idea (hey, it worked with my ipod once) but I've been combing the message boards to see if anyone has had a similar issue. I found an older thread that talked about 2008 pros haven't issues with the keyboard and trackpad freezing due to a "faulty pressure connector" so I might try that solution when I get home. But any other ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Welcome to Apple Discussions!
If you bought your Mac from Apple 10 months ago, it should still be covered by the 1 year warranty and as long as the problem was not caused by accidental damage of some sort, it should be repaired at no cost to you. Was the store aware that you were still under warranty?
You can even upgrade to 3 year Applecare if you do so before the first year of ownership is up--definitely something to do if your Mac is having troubles already.
When you see the next genius, make sure they know you are still in the 1 year warranty period, and if you can, upgrade to 3 year Applecare.
You can also call Applecare on the phone and tell them about these problems and ask them for a case number, which will at least establish that they started while you were still under warranty. If a problem first occurs under warranty, Apple will honor the warranty until the problem is fixed, even if the warranty runs out in the meantime.
    Good luck!
