Tracking agents commissions
We have an existing eCommerce clothing store called www.tomato.ph. Now we'd like to expand our business by offering & tracking agents' commissions, but not using Affiliate Programs. Most of our agents don't have websites & they prefer using traditional word-of-mouth advertising when they promote our products to their referrals. What can I use to track commissions & rewards agents whenever their referrals make a purchase from our site?

Using affliate program to track agent commissions
We currently have wholesale login and ordering set up on our store and we want to be able to track commissions for wholesale orders that are referred from a particular sales agent.
I am thinking Affliate links is the way to manage this but am wondering if it will work how we need it to.
I have set up an affliate program in the name called " AGENCIES" and created myself as a subscriber. I am thinking each agency will be a subscriber. Does that sound right?
And then each of the agencies will have their own individual link to give clients in order to access our site and place orders - which will then track their commission on anything purchased by people the refer to us?
My next question is this - We currently use Paypal as the payment gateway. But we want to add EFT as a payment option for Wholesalers (showing only when logged in). However I just saw this here http://kb.worldsecuresystems.com/portal_landing_page/Partner.html?page=185:bc_185:html
Affiliate Programs and non-seamless gateways
The only non-seamless payment gateway that Affiliate Programs currently support is PayPal Standard.
When using PayPal Standard, be sure to check if your PayPal account is configured to accept payments instantly or if it's set to the "Review Payments" mode. If your PayPal Standard account is set to the "Review Payments" mode, you'll need to manually accept the payments in your PayPal account in order to complete the process of recording the commission in your site's Affiliate Program.
Which sounds like if they choose EFT the commissions won't be tracked. Is that correct?
Any guidance on this would be appreciated!Hi Jen,
I think this will work with EFT, but you have to mark the payment as successful before you can see the commission. But I'm not 100% sure so it's best if you quickly test it.
Cheers,

How to track agents and there actions at all levels in a workflow
Hi All,
We have a requiement where in the task description we are
required to give the details of the people who had executed the workflow and the action they have taken.
That is suppose a user approves or rejects a workiitem.
Then the another user who recieves the workitem should know
who the previous users were and what action they had taken
The previous agent who executed the work item can be identified, but we don't know how to identify what action did the previous user has taken.
Thanks and Regards
ShraddhaYou can make use of WI_ACTUAL_AGENT container element of the respective task container in order to know who has executed the last workitem.
Thanks

Exporting Multi-Channel Split-track Stereo
Hello,
I am wanting to export multi-channel split-track.
I have 3 tracks in my sequence: 1 mono track for COMMS, 1 stereo track for FX and 1 stereo track for the soundtrack.
What is the best way to to export this so that I have 3 stereo pairs?
I could do this easily in FCP 7 but the fact that stereo tracks occupy just one track in PP complicates things a bit.
Thanks
OOk so i order to help anyone who is interested.
The only ironic solution to this problem i found was to use a plugin called xto7 to convert the xml to the old fcp7 format.
i then imported this into premiere pro.
this was then able to export an OMF that when imported into logic 10 that was using the correct 6ch mono setting as separate tracks.
Insane but it works until Apple fixes the incorrect meta data import in FCPX that sets the xml export to the default import that is always surround.
this is the only way i was able to send stems with all the edit points and fades for the sound editor.
If you don't have premiere lying around you maybe able to do it with fcp7 too we just didn't have it in this studio.
Fingers crossed Apple fixes the fcpx xml export. -
What is the best way, while creating Function Module based extractor
Hi Friends,
I am Sreekanth.
I have created a Functio Module based Extractor,
To fetch data from COPA tables.
In this extracton 3 tables are getting involved.
1) CE3OP01 2) CE4OP01 and 3) CE1OP01.
Logic required is as follow:
1) get data from CE3OP01 and for all entries of this data set,
get data from CE4OP01 and CE1OP01 and finally send the data set to BW after few manupulations.
I have implemented the whole logic and its working fine in DEVELOPMENT box where data volume is less.
But the same code is timing out in Quality Box, due to huge volues of data.
Below I am copying the code that i am using . Any body can suggest me how to proceed further so that my code works with huge volumes of data.
Now I am getting the time out error while selection data from CE3IOP01 table itself.

(INTERNAL) Unable to create listener thread on the specific port"
Failed to create server socket when calling ORBSocketFactory.createServerSocket(IIOP_CLEAR_TEXT, 18002)
Address already in use: bind
Would indicate that the address 18002 is already used by another process.
So you can do:
1.restart your machine:
2. a netstat -an to validate that the port is free
You may have the localhost already started as a service on your machine...

2.3 or 2.7 GHz (Primary usage Logic Pro)
Hello everyone!
Have been looking around for this topic but havn't found SO Im posting my thing out here.
I am a long time Mac user with music production as profession and with Logic Pro as my primary program.
I am about to buy myself a new MacBook Pro and have to great choices but when it comes to the details I would be thankful for some guidance.
Choice nr 1 is the latest MacBook Pro 15¨ - Retina Intel QC i7 2,3 Ghz - 16 GB Memory - 512 SSD
Choice nr 2 is probably a little bit older but with the same specifications but with Intel QC i7 2,7 Ghz.
My following question is how big difference is it between 2,3 and 2,7 GHz? As I mentioned - music production and Logic Pro is my primary use with my computer and I know that when it comes to music - RAM-memory is the most important. The price difference is not so big but still enought for me to post this topic and - is there anything else than the GHz that have been improved in this latest MB Pro that matters to me here?
Very thankful for any thoughts or answears here. I will buy one of them and after what I have heard is it very little difference so I am probably going for the Choice nr 1 (since it is the latest) but what do you folks here think?
Cheers!Memory is not necessarily the lynchpin. I remember tracking 24 channels of 192/24bit audio simultaneously with 512mb of ram, SATA 1 5400RPM HDD with nary a hiccup. Nothing different about audio now, 14 years later. Same bits.
While music processing can be somewhat processor intensive if you use a lot of plug-ins, the difference between 2.7 and 2.3gHz will not be immense. It may be a matter of one or two plugin instances (depending on the plug). A lot of this will depend on how the plug-in is actually written as well as the number of cores on the CPU. This introduces a lot of uncertainty into looking at straight gHz.
Storage will be a factor here. Even at 512gb, you may find yourself cramped for space if you have lots of multitrack audio projects on the go. If you end up using an external thunderbolt drive this will negatively impact your performance (though probably not much, see my opening sentence).
The other factor to consider is the possibility of using external audio processors such as that which is available from Universal Audio and which take some load off your computer's CPU for processing effects. I've been using their UAD-2 PCI card on my Mac Pro and I love it. Great product, great effects.
You can also freeze tracks or commit the effect by doing offline processing which will release your CPU of some tasks.
Perhaps some more information about the exact type of projects you are doing would help. I primarily do multi-track (16 to 32 simultaneous inputs) recording and mixing (highly variable track count at mixing stage), which has very different demands on a system compared to say, someone who is doing multi-track midi sequencing and sampling.
Needless to say, both systems will likely be very good at handling whatever you are throwing at them. -
** Purpose of 'levels' in End-to-End Monitoring
Hi Friends,
1. What is the meaning and purpose of a) Low b) Medium c) High monitoring levels ?
2. What the term 'Monitoring Server' indicates?
3. What is the purpose of 'Send' and 'Received' Check boxes for the Component Type other than Integration Server?
All are in 'Configuration' tab of RWB.
Could you kinldy clarify friends...?
Kind Regards,
Jeg P.1. Selecting the monitoring level that you want to use for each of the selected components. monitoring level determines which tracking agent are activated for respective component and which monitoring data an active agent delivers.
3.Configure as sending or receiving system or both depending on the component type -
Enterprise Manager listening ports?
Hi all,
Which are the TCP/IP ports an intelligent
agent uses to communicate with an OEM
console?
From the docs, it seems that the only port
it uses is 7770/tcp, but I saw 7771, 7772,
7773, 7778 also.
I need this info to setup a (um, rather
complicated) forwarding SSH tunnel between
OEM console and the agent node -- OEM
console will be in a private network
Regards,
Alvaro.
nullThanks Peter for your quick response!
...but what I really need is to know which ports the OEM console spawns to listen
to connections from agents -- ie, the TCP
/IP connections initiated from agent
to the OEM console.
In my case, the OEM->agent comms work
well, but not agent->OEM since the OEM
server is in a private IP network.
As said, I'll forward via SSH the ports
back to the OEM server, but I need to know
which are these OEM ports...
Any help would be much appreciated.

Incentive and Commission Management in SD
I have a customer, live on SAP R/3 4.7. They have a normal order - stock flow to their customers. They thinking of implementing ICM to control their agent commissions which they handle manually today. But I have looked at a lot of documentation and can not find out if ICM will work for 4.7 in a normal SD flow. It looks more like a industry solution for insurance? Or do they need to upgrade to ERP2005, or is it simply to complicated to use?
Another old fashioned solutions is also discussed with a new partner function and condition type. Do anybody have any advice or experience?
Regards
MagnusHi Magnus,
u r true! the only way i too see is to maintain a partener function of vendor type, have a condition type, attach a requiement to the condition type at pricing level and do retro billing for the settlements of the commission.

Retrieve realtime call info via UCCX database ?
Hi guys,
UCCX 8.0/8.5. I wanted to get a realtime list of active calls in the system from the UCCX database (currently using the uccxhruser but I've tried with uccxwallboard as well). This would include things like time started, the agent handling the call, peripheral variables, etc. The contactcalldetail and agentconnectiondetail tables only seem to show calls that have completed (although the information in contactcalldetail is perfect for what I need).
Is this even possible, or do we have to resort to using the UCCX realtime CTI feed to get this information?
Thanks,
RobbyHi
I would say CTI may be the way to go. Historical tables are just that; I've used them to track agent state detail (for example) but that's a state change so is generally pretty 'live'. Call data is written as calls complete as far as I'm aware, so you might get a contactroutingdetail entry by the time it hits an agent, but probably not an agentconnectiondetail entry.
