Tracking FR reports activity

Hi all,
I'm working with Workspace 9 and I need to retrive information about
FR reports activity.
I need to trace of the users, dates and information related to FR reports .
Can someone advice how can i retrive such information as it's quite urgent,

Is there any way to track what reports are actively running on BOE?

Good Afternoon.
I am looking for a way to track the names of what reports are currently being run on Business Objects. We are on Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 SP3 and from what Iu2019m aware, the servers can show the administrators how many connections and how many jobs are running, and the auditing command can track when a report has completed/failed (from what I understand), but nothing really tells us what reports are actively being run.
The purpose of this is to measure impact for an emergency restart of the server, track down reports that are taking up system resources, and debugging issues involved with the SDK.
Background: We have several reports hosted on Business Objects, both Crystal Reports and Web Intelligence. These reports go to different universes and databases and use several different accounts depending on the project (no central generic accounts to the databases). Sometimes when people are running several large reports (some being upwards of 1 million rows) the users will open one, leave it to run and go to open several others, killing our session limit and resources on the server. In addition, there have been times in development that restarts have been required but there was no way to tell what reports were running, just the number of them, and in several different spots (RAS, Page server, etc.).
Wish list (If my first priority is answered, Iu2019m also looking for the following):
- One to one associations of what reports are being run by what users.
- A centralized location to see what reports are being run by users opening them and what reports are being run by users scheduling them.
- The ability to u201Ckillu201D a report that is taking too long to run by a user.
- Possibly an interactive dashboard showing the number of active reports verses the serveru2019s limit, what reports are set in queue, etc.
- The u201Cstageu201D a report is running in, so if someone is running a report but its stuck at the prompt for a variable stage, querying data from the database, getting data back from the database, producing and processing the data to the screen, etc.
If Iu2019ve missed something in the Business Objects tools or if someone knows of a way to extract this type of data from the Business Objects server (3rd party tool or custom fix) I would appreciate the assistance. Thank you for your time.

I don't know if you tried using the Query Builder.
The query below (or some modification of it) may be of some help.
SELECT
SI_SCHEDULEINFO, SI_NAME
FROM
CI_INFOOBJECTS
WHERE
SI_SCHEDULE_STATUS = 1
The SI_SCHEDULEINFO.SI_SUBMITTER property in the query result will give you the BOUSER value of the user that submitted the job.
SI_SCHEDULE_STATUS takes the following values:
0     The job is currently being processed by the job server.
1     The job completed successfully.
3     The job failed. Check error message.
8     The job is paused.
9     The job has not started because dependencies are not satisfied (e.g. Events)

BPM Reporting Activity content extraction in ejb/enterprise app

Hello BPM experts,
I have a running BPM in our production system. And there are about 6000 users
who use the process.
The process has a reporting activity that collects all the possible failuers,
and successful event traces.
Now we want to build a controller app that uses jsps performing:
1. show all the data collected by the reporting activity objects.
2. show a list of all the process instances those have a status of suspended
3. and can cancel the processes by selection.
We plan to build the app based on ejbs those are accessed by jsps to
perform the 3 tasks mentioned above.
The reason that we want to build these apps is because the administrators
are system administrators and do not want to logon the NWAdmin gui.
So, guys, my questions are where do I find BPM apis, and other support
/ sap nw bpm dependency libraries / jar files ??
I highly appreciate your help and cooperations for this :-)

Show Reporting Activity values in Visual Composer

Hi everybody,
i add a Reporting Activity to my current BPM Process. My purpose is to show the report in Visual composer.
Unfortunately i don't know how to import the BPM Reporting Activity into VC?
Could anybody help me with a how-to-guide or a detailed description?

Hi Sid ,
In Visual Composer, choose Model Open... .
A list with all available models appears.
Browse the model structure and in the context menu of a model, choose Open Model.
The selected model opens for editing in the Design board.
Choose View->Task Panel -> Search to search for BPM DataSources.
The Search dialog appears.
From the Select provider dropdown menu, select BI Data Sources.
From the System destination dropdown menu, select BI (Sql) Portal.
In the Search for Table field, enter the name of the generic process or process context DataSource you want to find. You can use an asterisk (*) in the search string as a wildcard to search for a partial match. Choose the Search pushbutton.

Tracking of user activity in the system

i'm currently on a project which i need to use BI to track the user activity on the SAP System example like the time they log in or out, the transaction thay made etc. was juz wondering if anyone can give me some idea, solution or a head start in my project. thanks.

Hi,
You could use the tables USR01.....thru USR07 etc. These tables contain user information like name,login times etc.
eg .USR07 gives the tcode etc.
You could create a view to extract the appropriate fields. Then create a datasource using either the view or a function module. You'll have to decide your requirement. Then the rest in BI is pretty standard. The only point should be what data to extract from which tables and how...

i am getting The JMS Report Data Handler failed to send the message to the JMS Queue error in Report activity and failed to print Report in OSB 11G while testing My proxy service using large no of loads(say 60 request per minute). when it is less it is working fine..

What is the JTA timeout value configured currently? Can you increase the JTA timeout value (increase it to 300 if it is set to 30) and test again?

Track which reports are downloaded most by the users

I have Zcubes on which I have reports . Now I want to track which reports are downloaded most from the website and what reports are looked at most of time ? how is this possible?

You can get the information from St03. You need to go to BI Work Load . This will give you all the details related to the InfoProviders. This will give you the number of reports under each Cube executed by the users. But you need to enable the BI Stats to get this information.

Oracle Reporting Active X control object

Whether somebody can adduce an example of use of the Oracle Reporting Active X control object in a form (Forms 6)? I tried to insert this object into the form - but nothing turns out.

ActiveX is only supported by C/S previous versions of Forms (until version 6). It won't work with Web versions. You have to search/find a Java Bean equivalent.

This is my first comment in this forum.
In the API of Adobe Connect 8 Web Service, the parameter active-participants for the instruction report-active-meetings said that return the number of users attending the meeting in progress, including hosts and presenters, but really return only the number of presenters in my tests.
I want to know what is the cause?

Reports & activity opening an excel file

Hello,
We are running ACS v3.3 on a windows 2003 env. when we try to open a csv file, it opens in the browser, I want it to open in a seperate Excelfile. In our v3.0, it worked that way, what do we need to change so it open once again in an Excel sheet ?

I assume you are using ACS Admin looking on the reports & activity pages?
If you want to view with excel you'll have to download the csv first. You can do this manually for each report you click on..
..or you could look at our csvsync application that pulls down all the reports from multiple ACSs.

Campus User Tracking Quick report

Hi All,
I'm new to Cisco works and I'm trying to generate a report and wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I am trying to run report via campus user tracking --> quick report with the vlad id.
But my problem is, for some of the vlan I can't get the report, as I know we have lot's end hosts in that vlan.
Our network consists of bridge vlan of 200-210 from core switch --- distribution switch -- access switch.
I am getting report for my 205 vlan but not for others.

I'm confident there is not an audit report which will track the exact changes to a financial report.
There may be something that note that a report was modified however I am a little doubtful about that.
In most enterprise environments (large companies) report writers/developers do not have direct access to modify production financial reports. They would be created in a non-production environment and a third party would move them. Obviously not all companies have the resources to work in this manner. There are audit mechanisms for the Life Cycle Management (LCM) tool -- check out the epm_security.pdf guide at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_security.pdf
