Tracking internet address connected?

Greetings everyone!
I suppose I wanted to ask to everyone here,
if only you guys wanted to share some advice to me.
I realized there's many discussion about networking programming.
But please advice me about it with this situation below;
A single PC connected to internet.
Java apps running. Using its thread.
Tracking the User Internet Activity.
Making some log of the website visited.
Does anyone may give me advice about it, how and
which way is the safeties?
Since I found many discussion but, still I lack of understanding.
Please point me out of topic which I may learn from.
~ just new to networking stuff in general sense.

Are these all the same question?
tracking internet address connected?
Yahoo Capture Chat Message?
PC Connected to Internet and Its Connectivity?
And on how many other forums did you post these questions?
People don't like to waste their time answering a question that somebody else has already answered.

  • Azure Virtual Machine cannot connect to Internet addresses following update on 8/7/2014

I've got a Windows Server 2012 virtual machine running in Azure that prior to system updates that were rolled out last week could connect to Internet addresses such as Yahoo.com without issue. I do not currently have any virtual networks configured for this
Azure tenant nor have I modified any of its network settings, so the VM was making the connections with its default network configuration. On August 7, 2014 I rebooted the virtual machine to apply some required system updates to the operating system, and following
that reboot the VM could not longer connect to the Internet. I am able to lookup domains in DNS, but cannot ping those domains from the command line or open web sites via a browser.
I've released its IPconfig via the command line and rebooted the server multiple times, both from within a remote desktop connection and from the Azure Management Portal, but these actions have not resolved the issue.
Are there additional configuration steps I need to take to reconnect this VM to Internet sites, or has something changed which requires me to make further changes?
    Thank you,
    John

Just to close this out, I've been able to resolve the issue. It looks like somehow a Windows Update changed the proxy server settings in Internet Options on the server, and that was preventing traffic from successfully leaving the server. Once I removed
that setting, the issue was resolved.

Would you please let us know current situation of this issue? Did you refer to Binu Kumar's suggestion and check SharePoint on the SBS server? Any find?
I also suggest that you should run
SBS BPA tool to check the status of the SBS server. Meanwhile, please run
sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files.

  • DISABLE" ALL user web/internet addresses/sites in a PDF?

Professionally & Personally - I use, make, and Read many PDF files daily [reports, documents, & books]; I have many "many" thousands of PDF documents in my Archives.
    A. Background:
    1.    I have heard, since Acrobat 5, many security specialist have deemed JAVA as a THREAT; and PDF as a security concern! Recently Reported Home Land Security has deemed JAVA as an on-going "continuing high threat", in spite of se7u11; reported that DHLS expressed that 28% of reported ATTACKS were from Adobe Acrobat PDF files embedded user malicious software code [ever growing numbers of attacks]. <PDF security is a major growing DOD concern!>
    2.    To my great surprise from "IT" professional who disabled JAVA in his Department's systems, the current Security Software and specific program updates offer no real solution or resolutions to this ongoing security problem. I understood that Virus and Trojan Checkers do not check malicious software code hidden inside PDF files, and software updates do not remove or make safe the malicious software code in the actual PDF – thus it remains a potentially very DISTRUCTIVE-DATA-BOMB just setting in your databases awaiting to be activated at some future date.
    3.    "This is very tedious and time consuming!" I have since disabled JAVA in my Adobe Acrobat and run each PDF through "PDF OPTIMIZER" - Discarding all User Data, User Objects, and especially User JAVA Codes – and disable my LAN internet connection -- before utilizing it. I don’t know if this is of any good or not – but I feel safer.
    B. PROBLEMS & QUESTIONS (I’ve given each question its own string to assist with preventing confusion)!
    2.    Using an Adobe Acrobat program function - how can I "REMOVE & DISABLE" ALL [100%] of user noted, embedded, or hidden web/internet addresses/sites in a PDF? What is Adobe's solution?

    try67;
I do so appreciate your assistance…
Each of my “QUESTIONS” are specific, direct, and unique – Please Read THEM and answer if you can – if you do not have the technical ability or understanding of my question please do not “scold” me!
Although I have used in business and own computers since the 1970’s [built one myself], I’ve not had to concern myself with programming since, DOS, Lotus/IBM/Apple Basic and COBAL --- especially after XP release I gave up even trying to figure what each does. I did not mean to offend as to which specific JAVA version and/or product is the problem, since I personally have no CLUE – and today totally depend upon goodwill of smart guys like you.
Specifically why recently DHLS [IT security folks and DOD for many years] is saying that Malicious Software code in PDF files is such a big threat and responsible for 28% of the systems attacks I do not know the technicalities or reasoning of these assertions – except it had something to do with JAVA CODE/JavaScript[?] contained inside the actual PDF which virus software doesn’t detect or destroy?  I do not know if it is the Additional CODE placed inside the PDF by the bad actor and/or the changing of actual Adobe Program Code is the problem? I may be chasing may tail!
My biggest concern for many years into the future -- is protecting my very large PDA database/Archive, multiple Systems, my personal information, and to try to the best of my ability to not pass PDF having within it Malicious Software CODE [JAVA CODE/JavaScript?] put into it by a bad actor.
Since my PDF database Archives [and back-ups] is many terabytes – it is impossible to “import” each PDF into Acrobat and run PDF Optimizer (removing Adobe known user placed codes and data) – as I am doing now.
This is again my very specific question -  Using an Adobe Acrobat program function - how can I "REMOVE & DISABLE" ALL [100%] of user noted, embedded, or hidden web/internet addresses/sites in a PDF?
Thank you so very much for your knowledge, help, and interest.

  • Router is getting the Internet Address of 127.0.0.1

    Hi:
I am trying to configurate a WRT610N router that is connected to an ADSL modem.
I set this as DHCP, but in the status page I am only getting the Internet Address of 127.0.0.1.
The ADSL modem IP is 192.168.1.1, but I cannot have access to the modem configuration,
What can I do to make this work?
    Appreciate any help.
    Thanks
    David

You need to disconnect the router from the modem and change the router's default ip to 192.168.1.2. You might also want to consider putting your modem in bridge mode so that you can set the router's internet connection type to PPPoE.
I don't work for Cisco. I'm just here to help.

  • Keeping Internet Sharing connections off Bonjour subnet

    Hi,
I have my Mac Mini connected to my home lan via ethernet. I have set its Airport for Internet Sharing. Despite connections to the Airport being on a different subnet than my lan, any device using that Internet Sharing connected can "see" and access any Bonjour services (like Screen Sharing or AFP for example) on the lan.
Now I understand that those Internet Sharing connections connect to the router via NAT provided through my Airport on the Mini. But what I'd like to do is use ipfw or whatever to prevent the Internet Sharing subnet from accessing any IP on the lan with the exception of the router itself. With iptables I could probably figure this out (or get close), but I am not familiar with ipfw. Can anyone help me with setting up ipfw to do this?
    Thanks,
    Doug

I'm no expert but usually the router lets you share one ip address (assigned by your ISP) between several computers on an internal network and the computers can each connect via the router - they don't need to connect to each other. For example, I've got a set up with two computers (one is mine, one is my parents') and two airport base stations. One of the base stations acts as a router (the other just boosts the range so the signal is stronger upstairs) and it distributes internal ips between the other base station and the two computers. We share the internet connexion but neither computer is set up to share its own internet connexion.
So if you're asking what I think you're asking, I don't think you need to enable internet connexion sharing at all - you could just have the computers connect via the router. The only reason I can think not to do this would be if maybe the router doesn't allow wireless connexions and you needed to connect one of the computers using this method. Otherwise, I'd think you'd just connect both through the router.
If that doesn't help, it is probably because I have no idea what I'm talking about - or, rather, very little idea which is worse because it means sometimes I think I understand something a little bit!

  • Verizon 9100EM Router ISP Protocol Internet address not available

My Verizon 9100em router (FIOS) has been working fine with 5 wifi attached devices.  After unplugging my router for 20 seconds all my devices reconnected to the router without issue; however, none could access the internet.  I accessed my router Admin page via 192.168.1.1 and found this device status: WAN device: auto protocol detect warning (WAN device not connected); ISP Protocol Internet address not available.
I performed the router reboot procedure.  This did not establish the connection.  I unplugged the router for 60 mins, no help.  I left the router powered up for 8 hours and rechecked the cable connection from the router to the wall, but the ISP Protocol Internet address is still not available.
Are there any other steps I can perform, short of performing the factory reset?  I did not make any router configuration changes since the initial setup years ago, so I don't see why a reset would be necessary.

I want to thank you all for your helpful responses to my inquiry.  I am happy to report that my problem was resolved during an "online chat" with Verizon support.
They were able to run a line diagnostic and a line reset procedure which re-established my router connection.  The technician was unable to explain why
the router lost it's ip address and was unable to re-establish connectivity with the ISP.  I assume there was an issue with the DHCP service and it did not recognize my router.

  • HT6147 Cannot access the Internet while connected to Wi-Fi after updated to ios 7.06!

I updated my Iphone 5s to ios 7.06 yesterday (2014, Feb 27) and i could not access the internet while connected to Wi-Fi.
According to: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398, my IP address is 192.168.xxx.xxx, not 169.254.xxx.xxx!!! How can I fix this?

Reboot your router. The phone is picking out the router address. Unplug it from power for about 15 seconds then turn it back on. While that is happening, on the phone go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

  • Hi my ipad will not connect to the internet, cannot connect to the itunes store? When it connects it shows a symbol that its connected but want login?

Hi I need help resetting my iPad to connect to the home network, so it will login to itunes...it says its connect, but still want login, don't know if my settings are correct.

    Howdy thuronbey,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
Sounds like the internet connection or wifi on the phone is not working correctly. I found this article for you to help troubleshoot the issue. These 2 sections in particular:
Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your W-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
    Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
    Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
And this section from down the bottom of the article:
Unable to access the Internet while connected to Wi-Fi
If you're using a public or commercial network, you may need to log in or subscribe.
Check to see if you have a self-assigned IP address:
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected and tap .
If your IP address is 169.254.xxx.xxx, you may not be able to access the Internet.
If you do not have a self-assigned IP address, see if other Wi-Fi devices on your network have Internet access.
If they do not, consult with your network administrator or ISP for further assistance.
If they do, reset network settings on your device by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Note: This will reset all network settings including:
previously connected Wi-Fi networks and passwords
    recently used Bluetooth accessories
    VPN and APN settings

  • Internet not connecting after ios 7.0.2 update on iphone 5

Internet not connecting after ios 7.0.2 update on iphone 5

    Hi there PompasJr,
I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps found in the article below.
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
    Camera isn't functioning
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Third-party cases can interfere with the autofocus/exposure feature and the flash (iPhone 4 only); try removing the case if you have image-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. After recording begins, you cannot readjust focus until you stop recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll. Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

  • How do I edit my list of www addresses that show up when I put a w in the Internet address field? I need to get rid of one.

When the first Firefox screen appears, there is a long rectangular box at the top to put the Internet address into. If you put a w in that box, you automatically show a list of Internet addresses that I previously used (apparently based upon number of uses, most used first).
In that list which appears, I have an address in which I made a mistake of one character. I want to get rid of that address with a mistake in it.
How can I get rid of that erroneous address?

  • What can I do when I try to access a URL and get the message "MAC OSX doesn't recognize internet addresses starting with "c:"?

I recently tried to download a pdf file from a website in the UK.  Up popped a message saying the website could not be accessed, followed by this message: "MAC OSX doesn't recognize internet addresses starting with "c:".  I was able to access the website easily (its domain was "www") and the page listing the pdfs, but could not download a pdf.  Of course," c:" appears not to be a valid domain name, but why would anyone use "c:" in place of a domain name in their URL?  And what can I do about the problem?  I'm using Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10, but also have Firefox and Chrome loaded.  Thanks.

An address starting with c: wouldn't be any kind of domain name. C: is the drive lettering system DOS and and later uses. By default, A: and B: are reserved for your first and second floppy disk drive. All hard drives are then named C: through Z:, if you have that many. C: is normally your startup disk.
Anyway, their PDF file is incorrectly linked to a file directly on the C: drive of someone's computer. It's not going to work no matter what you do.

  • Sending Mail to Internet Address Maintained in Infotype 105

    Hi All,
I have a requirement wherein I have to send mail to the Internet Address of the employee which is maintained in Infotype 0105. Now I have gone through the SDN where in they have said that using select or FM get the Employee details and pass it to a container which will be added in the Send Mail step. I have understood all this thing. But Since I am new to workflow Concepts. Can someone guide me where to write this peice of code to fetch email id from INfotype 0105 and how to get that value in a workflow container.
If anyone has done this scenario , I will be very grateful if you can guide me step by step how to do it.
I am an Abaper and understands ABAP OO and BOR Concepts very well.
    Regards,
    Akhil Rai

I am an Abaper and understands ABAP OO and BOR Concepts very well.
Createa a method in the BOR and impor the employee number for whom you need to determine the EMAIL ID by using the FM HR_READ_INFOTYPE pass the infotype as 0105 and subtype as 0010 to get the email Id.
and once the email ID is determined then export the email back to workflow by using binding concept
Pass the pernr from WORKFLOW  ---> TASK  ---> method container ( For importing into method )
Pass any value METHOD ---> TASK ---> Workflow Container ( for exporting to workflow )..
and if possible instead of using send mail step call the standrad FM and mention the address type as U external address and pass the email ID and content...
