Tracking ipod touch after its been lost?
it doesnt look like it possible but can you track an ipod touch after its been lost with out have setting the find my ipod thing?
If you didn't set up Find My iPhone/iPod, then no, sorry.
I heard someone say that if you had the IMEI from the iPod, then the police could track it, but I don't know how easy that would be.

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync). 2. Connect your device to your computer.

Ipod runs out of battery after its been connected to pc.
Hi my Ipod has ranout of battery after its been connected and charging through my pc. It was connected for a good few hours and when i disconnected and i went to play an album, i get the message - "please connect to power". I cant understand why it runs out when it says charging (the lightning bolt) and then battery fulll (the plug symbol). This has happened a couple of times now, i would be greatful for any help or insight into this. Thanks.
My computer doesnt go to sleep, the ipod still says connected, so still not sure whats happening. It doesnt happen all the time, so funk knows, cheers anyway. Maybe the new firmware will fix it. Any ideas to when its due out?

this was the first time this has happen to me :-(. i think its sad the lowlifes are going around taking peoples iphones (and other items). Not that any body cares im a student putting myself through school who saved money to buy this phone not even a month ago. i feel so confliced because i question if i shouldve taken that one call and replied to a text msg in the first place.... thank god for insurance but im a broke collage student so it only goes so far but i digress. i am open to any suggestions into what i can do to pervent this happing again. i do know about the find me app.

I thank you in advance!you should be able to still located your device. it can be found by using another device with the find me app. using the phone number should located it. although, people who steal these devices are usually smart about it. they will wipe the slate clean on phone and turn off the enable location function and just use it as a ipod touch basically and jail break it. yes it is sad that people cant keep their hands off of peoples things. but i would go to your nearest service preovider and let them know what happen. they will be able to do a location pin point for you if its not too late. i would do it , like.... tomorrow. good luck

i downloaded apps from the itunes store and tried to sync them to my ipod touch but its not syncing.i even restarted my ipod several times but it doesnt seem to work....i tried to delete and re-install the apps but that too doesnt seem to work... and while syncing,the apps are shown in my ipod and after the ipod is synced the apps disappear... dunno wat to do .................please help........
