Tracking of messages in PI????

Hi,
  I am wondering something whether this can be possible in PI or not. In PI, if anybody asks us regarding the number of messages process through PI. Then we would need to count the number of messages in SXI_MONITOR or in SXMB_MONI.
   Here my question lies. Is there any mechanism where we can track the number of messages in PI on a daily basis? If there is no such in build mechanism, then is there any possibility where we can develop some mechanism in PI, where we can track the messages paylaod and the number of messages per day processed in PI.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks
Soumya

Hi All,
       I got it. Thanks for your sincere help. All I would need to do is that, in SXI_MONITOR, I have to put blank in every parameters, say, Party, Component etc, and the "Length of Output List". I could see now the total number of processed, scheduled messages per day. Thanks a lot again.
       My Question got answered and hence closing this thread by providing the points to you, and mostly to Tarang, in my mind it striked after I got the proer way. Thanks

  • Tracking failed messages in BAM

    HI ,
    We have simple file transfer application in Biztalk 2009(receive port and send port).we want to track following key points in BAM like :
    Status:whether file transfer is successful or not at the destination system.(Sendport is of FTP)
    Status message : error message in case of failure at send port while delivering the file.
    how can get the above fields in the BAM .We are using the tracking profile editor to track these data.
    Manish

    The problem is that BAM only shows instances that has not failed. So in case something fails, BAM will not be written to the Activity until it has eventually succeeded (which might be never).
    So if you need BAM to track failed messages, you will need to enable "Routing for failed messages" on the Send Port and then choose elements from the ErrorReport Namespace in the Tracking Profile Editor.
    Another option could be to correlate/continue from the Receive Port to the Send Port, then you would know that all Activities that has the Receive Events written but not the Send must have failed (but of course this will not give you any indication of what
    the error was).
    I used to think that this was a limitation in BAM, but from a BI perspective it actually makes sense: Statistics/BI should only be dealing with things that has succeeded, whereas IT-operation should be dealing with errors, you might say!

  • How to track Error message no.

    Hi,
    Could anyone please expalin how to track error messages using message no.
    Urgent???????????????????
    Reg,
    CM

    Hi,
    You can not track just based on the Message number whether it is Error or Warning Message and where it is effecting.
    But for this message number you will have Message class/Application Area Based on this Message class you can check on which area (Masterdata/Purchasing/Inv Mgmt/LIV) this message number is effecting.
    Then in SE91 you can enter this Message class then system will show you which area it is related,what is the message number description.
    Then in MM IMG Settings you can check message number for that Particular Area.--Define Attibutes for System messages in every area.

    Just downloaded Yosemite on my Mac and the Yosemite update for Garage Band.  Now when I open an existing Garage Band project and click on a vocal track, a message window says, "Could not find General Audio 10" and have no smart controls for that track (reverb, etc.)  Help?

    Try this fix posted by Robinson Collins:
    Re: I downloaded Garage Band 2x and the same note appears: there is no General Audio 10. Please advise. Thank you.
    Try this: Go to your menu bar, select "Garageband" and then "Restore Sound Library..."
    It can take awhile to download as it's a pretty big library. You might need to also select "Update Sound Library..." after the restore is done.

  • Tracking error messages sent from OS X?

    I am not using OS X Mountain Lion right now, but with the Notification Centre is there a section which shows you when a Crash Log has been sent? I'm also on the look out for software that can track all of the Crash Log's that have been sent from my computer, I know there is a manual way to do this here and that Notification Centre doesn't work this way, so perhaps there is some stand alone software which could do the same job?

  • How to track NDR message

    Hello! When some our clients send us mails, the letters themself are not delivered, but clients receive no NDR.
    I checked tracking log, and found that e-mails are rejected because of content filtering. How can I check whether NDR for rejected messages was generated and sent?

    Please clarify, whether I take it right.
    We have that configuration. Inbound external e-mails received by Linux relay (Exim), and relay then sends e-mails to Exchange. Outbound e-mails are sended directly from HUBs.
    Suppose, external recipient sends the message, rejected by Exchange content filtering. Is that right, that NDR generating process must be performed on Linux relay in this case?

  • Track external messages in XI and SAP

    Hi XI guys.
    I have following question: external system wants to get application acknowledgements from SAP and XI that particular document has been posted successfully in SAP.
    It is going to assign Unique number to every XML message and wants response back (not synchronous because we are using IDOCs) with this Unique ID.
    Is there easy standard way to do it without actually storing this unique ID in SAP (storing it may not be possible for all situations) ?

    Hi,
    The prequsites to be done in XI and SAP system for idoc transfer from XI to SAP or vice versa?
    Initially RFC destinations to be created in XI system pointing to R/3 and in R/3 system pointing to XI.
    Outgoing IDOC from R/3     (R/3 Side Config)
    WE21 create a port & while creating it give the RFC destination which point to the XI system.
    WE20 Create a partner profile in partner KU (for outgoing). The partner number you give here should already be defined in R/3 with partner type KU. In the outbound parameters of this newly created partner profile, Enter the port number created in step 1 for Receiver port, Message type, Partner role, Basic IDOC type all in the Output options tab.
    Then in the Message Control tab you need to enter the Application, Message type & Process Code. You have F4 help for all of these.
    In BD54 RFC destination name has to be defined as the logical system name (Logical system Name or RFC destination name – always keep it 10 chars or you might face a problem in SLD inside XI.
    Finally if your scenario demands that an IDOC is automatically created when you save a transaction then in the output parameters of that transaction you need to select EDI as the output parameter.
    (XI Side Config)
    6.     IDX1 create a port & while creating it give the RFC destination which point to the R/3 system.
    7.     IDX2 for the port created in step 6, load the IDOC metadata from the R/3 client which is sending the IDOC to XI.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards.

  • Tracking SOAP messages

    I'm using the webservice port generated by the weblogic clientgen tool.
    Is there a way to obtain XML requests and responses from the port imlp??

    Yup. I'm doing the same thing.
    I've a webservice client generated by weblogic clientgen and i'm registering the handler as below,
              QName portName = new QName( "http://bea.com/",
              "ServicePort");
              HandlerRegistry registry = service.getHandlerRegistry();
              List handlerList = new ArrayList();
              handlerList.add( new HandlerInfo(CustomHandler.class, null, null ) );
              registry.setHandlerChain( portName, handlerList );
    In the handleRequest and handleResponse methods i'm setting some properties using,
         msgContext.setProperty("Response",
                   toString(((SOAPMessageContext) msgContext).getMessage()));
    We can later use these properties in the client by accessing the WebServiceContext object
                        SOAPMessageContext smc = WebServiceContext.currentContext().getLastMessageContext();
                        System.out.println(smc.getProperty("Response"));
    But, everytime i'm getting a null referece to the WebServiceContext.
    Exception---------------------------------------------
    weblogic.webservice.context.ContextNotFoundException: unable to find context for current thread
