Trackpad keeps disconnecting and wont work unless I restart
I tried searching around for a resolution to this issue but haven't had any luck so turning here for support. I recently updated my late 2012 retina MBP 13-inch to Mavericks. Prior to the update my magic trackpad mouse was working without issue. Now, I am experiencing frequent bluetooth disconnections with the trackpad. The only way to re-connect is by resarting my computer (reconnection happens automatically at this point). Any suggestion for fixes?
Batteries were recently replaced and I have 97% battery life.
The issue is actually with the battery terminals. Chances are the spring has lost some bounce, so when you tap the pad too hard, the batteries jump, power is temporarily lost for a split second, and the bluetooth disconnects until the handshake sequence is done again with the Mac.
The solution is to put a folded up piece of tin foil in the battery comparment, between the batteries and one of the terminals (negative or positive, doesn't really matter). This will make sure the power connection is snug. After I did this, my problem was solved.

I have a dilema i use a programme called Mackeeper i accidentally moved several checked files to my trash BUT i didnt delete them,i would like to put the files back where they belong but the put back option is in grey and wont work?? i have spoken to Apple and to no avail !!!
Mackeeper moved my files to my trash so i pulled them out of my trash to my desktop it has copied them to my desktop as well as kept them in my trash!!
im so confused and things are not working properly anymore such as my google chrome for example...all my book marks are gone BUT i can go to the google file which is out of place on my desktop and view all my bookmarks data...ALL of my files still exist but they are just out of place now which is making it hard for certain options on my computer to work...

HOW do i get this stuff back to where it is supposed to go so that these programmes work properly again???? i also used delete and command but that did not work either,like i said i have not emptied my trash and ALL the info is there its just totally out of place and the put back option will not work sor some reason!!??? im running 10.8.5 imac someone PLEASE help me!!

Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
Don't empty the Trash after dragging the application to it. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
Don't try to drag the MacKeeper icon in the Dock to the Trash.
Here are some general suggestions. If you want your computer to be usable, don't install crapware, such as “themes,” "haxies," “add-ons,” “toolbars,” “enhancers," “optimizers,” “accelerators,” "boosters," “extenders,” “cleaners,” "doctors," "tune-ups," “defragmenters,” “firewalls,” "barriers," “guardians,” “defenders,” “protectors,” most “plugins,” commercial "virus scanners,” "disk tools," or "utilities." With very few exceptions, this stuff is useless, or worse than useless.
The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
The only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it.

Restore from the last backup that predates the unwanted changes. -
Controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting
Hi thereI have recently had a problem with my Dualshock 4 controller connecting to my PS4. I took ps4 to my dads while i was staying there and everything was fine. Since i returned home i set up ps4 as normal but my controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting itself. It is not a charge issue as it has been charging for 2 hours now. I am just sitting on the home screen now and controller is plugged in by usb cable and just keeps connecting and reconnecting but remains on charge when it disconnects. yea... mine is the same way. it turns out i did some investigating on it and the entire jack is loose. when i push the jack backwards, both sides of my headphones work, but it is naturally forwards so only my left side works. and yes, i did try multiple headphones to confirm it isn't them. i might try and use a shim to keep it naturally back so both sides work, but haven't gotten around to it yet. your not the only one

Yes believe it or not my problem was caused by the keyboard being too close to the iMac display, the bluetooth was infering with the other radio signals coming from the antenna, it needs to be at least 1ft away from the display (30cm) to prevent this (this won't help those of you with small computer tables/desks)

Keeps disconnect and reconnect
I have a retina Macbook Pro 13"(latest), iPad(3rd genernation), iPhone 5 and iPod shuffle(latest) and I am sure all their systems as well as iTunes on my Macbook Pro are latest version. The thing is that whenever I connect my iPad and iPod shuffle and try to sync using iTunes it just keeps disconnect and reconnect. At frist I thought there might be some problem with my USB port, so I tried both of my USB ports and it keeps behave like that. And the wired thing is, it did not happend to my iPhone 5 so far. So it is most likely that there are problems with the iTunes.
So I just want to ask is there anyone encounter the same problem and if you know how to fix this problem plsssssss tell me. Thx.I think these problems were hopefully solved by recent update of Itunes.

Try to reset the device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally. -
My iPod got wet, I put it in a bag of rice for 4 days now the Ipod Works in my music player dock, but wont connect to pc and wont work on its own.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
