Trackpad not working and can't unlock phone!

Hi there, my trackpad intermittently stops working, but now its stopped permanently and haven't got a clue how to unlock the phone without using the trackpad! Surely its possible to unlock it without using the trackpad?? cheers guys

Trackpad not working and can't download pictures!

Ok, so my 9300's trackpad stopped working a while ago. I've got myself a new non BB phone, as the support from BB was pretty non existent, however i've taken loads of pics on the 9300 which are saved only on the phone itself, not the sim or card. When I plug it in to the laptop it's permanently 'stuck' on 'charge only', there's no way it seems to move it to 'sync media' or the other one! Is there any way to get the pics off the phone or am i going to lose them all?? would be so much simpler if BB had put 4 little arrow keys on the keyboard, save all the faffing about on this seemingly VERY common fault. Any help gratefully received guys. Thanks. Dave

To sync or transfer any file to your computer, you must first download Blackberry Desktop Manager.
This can be done using the folowing link :

Once installed and opended, connect your phone to the pc and go to options -storage- Press the menu key and enable USB MASS STORAGE MODE.
Your device will be recognised and using media sync, you can transfer your photos and other media on device memory.

How about a hard reset. Hold the top button down along with the home button until the phone turns off.

Please press the power- and the homebutton simultaneously until the apple logo will appear ( 10 sec.). That´s it.

Buttons not working and difficult to unlock

hi, does anyone know how i can fix my blackberry curve 8520 or is it to be deemed unfixable!?
I have been having difficulties unlocking the handset and have to hold the mute button for a long period of time, however when i came to use it the other day even this didnt work and when i managed to get it to work but it automatically locked after only a few seconds.
when i can get my phone to work the majority of the buttons fail to work.
Is there anything i can do?
The warranty ran out on it 5 months ago and it is on pay as you go, but would carphone warehouse (where i brought the phone from)

Often problems with the buttons duplicating characters or not working at all, is an indication of moisture problems.
It sounds like what I have seen multiple times on a device with moisture damage.
Even sitting on a bathroom counter during a hot steamy shower or bath can cause keyboard and trackball problems UNTIL properly dried out. It really is more common than you think.
1. Remove the battery immediately!! Do not attempt to turn on your BlackBerry.
2. Let the device dry in a warm, dry place for 3 to 5 days* (see below)
3. DO NOT "check it each day" by placing the battery in. Leave it be to dry completely. This takes time. Replacing the battery to check it can only damage it more (moisture + electrical current = disaster).
4. If the device is warm after the drying period, allow it to cool to room temperature before placing the battery back in.
Suggestions on drying your BlackBerry in a warm place (open, with the battery out):
*Place the BB in a container of dry UNcooked rice, and then you might also place it in any of the locations mentioned below.
*On top of any dry heat emitting electronic component: TV cabinet or CRT, LCD, cable TV/Satellite converter box or plasma monitor
*On the dashboard of your car on a sunny day

IPhone 5s recovery mode not working AND itunes wont connect phone!

I opened iTunes whilst my phone was plugged into my pc via USB and was told to update the software so I did.
During the process of updating I noticed my phone screen was an image of a usb pointing to an itunes icon.
I researched what the symbol meant and why i couldnt turn my phone back on and found out i need to do the recovery instructions.
THEY ARE NOT WORKING.
I have tried many times but iTunes is still not noticing that my iphone5s is plugged in.
PLEASE HELP ME!

Both you and the recipient have to have active data connections, and both devices have to have iOS 5 or higher to be able to use iMessage. Also, they both have to have iMessage activated. If that is already the case, there is a possiblility that iMessage is down. It has gone up and down several times in the past week. Fios not working and can't reach a person by phone

My router cannot connect to the internet this morning. Reboot doesn't help. WAN light stays dark. Called verizon but put on hold forever and ever with little hope of talking with a real people person.
Is there a way to place a service request via the web (still have cellular access)?
Is there a way to check FIOS status in my neighborhood?

Absolutely!!! Just call and pretend you want to upgrade or buy something. Verizon has that line stocked with friendly people dying to get your money

Bottom of touchscreen suddenly not working. Can't unlock.

My iPhone 3G was working perfectly until a few hours ago when the bottom of the touchscreen suddenly went dead. I was playing games on it with absolutely no issues, then set it down and of course it locked. I went to unlock it a while later and nothing happened. The first thing I tried was rebooting it, which is how I found out the TOP of the screen works since the slide to power off is at the top, and worked fine, but I couldn't 'cancel' since that's at the bottom. I have also already tried restoring it with no luck.I know this is a long shot because I have been all over the internet hoping for a fix but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone has any other ideas. This is my only phone and it's completely useless. To top it off my warranty ended earlier this month. If it comes down to having to pay for a repair, it might just be cheaper for me to "upgrade" to a completely different phone. I love my iPhone though and it would really stink to have to do that!

Thanks for your reply/help. My husband is very mechanically inclined so I guess I will see if he is willing to give it a go. I'm pretty scared of messing it up though because I really can't afford a new phone right now , not to mention that if I have to settle for a different/cheaper phone I will have no use for the ton of apps I have purchased.
It kind of makes me mad because this is my second iPhone. The one I bought originally in July of last year...(July 25th just barely over a year ago) the screen started getting these weird lines all through it and had to be replaced. Now just a few months later the replacement goes bad. It seems weird to me that the replacement phone doesn't have its own 1 year warranty. It's a new phone to me and should be free from defect same as the original, right? I have been beyond careful with this thing.
I just happen to think that the warranty on the phone should last at least as long as the phone contract I had to sign to get it! That doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Seems like plain common sense.
So here I am paying 85 dollars a month for service on a useless phone because I cant afford to pay 200 dollars right this moment to have it fixed, and of course I can't cancel my phone service because I'm contractually obligated!
So here I am able to see and hear my calls and texts coming in but I can't answer them.

Mobile Hot Spot on Driod Charge not working and can't figure out how to tether.

I called support and they told me the wifi hotspot was out system wide, not just on my Driod Charge. Can anyone confirm this? Also I was told I could tether my Charge with Verizon's software. The tech sent me the link to download the software. BUT, the download link has many choices as to which handheld you will be tethering. The Droid Charge is not one of them. Can anyone tell me which device that was listed will work with my phone?

The update is not working, and neither is my phone! (NO HACKS INSTALLED!)

I have an iphone, and so does my boss. I update it for him and take care of it and he just uses it.
I tried to install the new update telling him that it was going to be incredible and blah blah blah... the phone is now a brick.
someone help!!!! I have not installed ANY third party apps, hacks or changed the firmware in any way... tell me what I need to do!

This is a common issue on Windows systems, so i suggest you to update our iTunes to the most current first and then try it again but this time switch to another USB port, If that doesn't work which is exactly what happened to me, try with an Mac and yet before you do so make sure you have the latest iTunes updates in place.
P.S. Don't worry about your contact and everything else on your phone, because the firmware update will reset everything back to factory, once your updates is successful (Mac) simply go back to the system where you sync your phone with and the last auto backup will automatically give you the option to restore everything back or set it up as a new out of the box fresh phone.
Also understand that all your Wi-Fi connections as well as your mail accounts wil have to be re-established i.e., passwords & web keys...

I've deleted Pages and Keynote because they were not working, and can't install them now.

Good morning. First of all, sorry for my english, i'm spanish.
Today I've tried to open Pages to write a document, and the App would not open. When I click the icon, the App Store opens instead and says if i want to purchase the app. I've tried to say yes, because i thought this may be an update, but when i click yes, it says its unable to do anything.
So, i've tried with keynote and the behaviour was the same. Click on the icon and the app store opens with the same message. Numbers works fine. I'm on Mavericks, so nothing to do with Yosemite.
I've uninstalled Pages and Keynote because i thought that with the update from the other day, these two apps my have been corrputed, and i was going to install them again, but my surprise is that when I look for Pages, instead of letting me install it, it appears that i have to pay 17,99€ when i always had it for free!!
I've got a Macbook Pro 13" Retina late 2013 for a few months, and this is my first issue. Whan can i do? I Had these apps for free, and i don't want to expend so much money in two apps.
I really need help. Thank you.

Elements Editor not working and can't see files on IPAD

Aftr fooling around for the past 4 days trying to get picture int Adobe Revel, I pretty much gave up. All I want to do now is use PSE Editor and edit some pics. I can't get it to come up. Only the Organizer seems to work/ Any ideas?

OK,great! Lets work on the iPad now. What happens when you open Revel on th ipad and you log in? Have you tried logging out and back in or reinstalling and logging in?
What do you see? Can you see your libraries? Can you see your albums? Can you see photos?
Did you already have a Revel account when your files were migrated? If you did not, then the photos would move to <YOUR FIRST NAME HERE>'s library. IF you already had an account with an existing library and photos, then migrated files would be moved to a library named "Photoshop.com library". To change libraries on the iPad, go into Settings, if on iOS or Mac.

What you tried restarting the iPhone?
What you tried reinserting the SIM card?
Have you been able to connect it to iTunes?
If it appears in iTunes what messages appear on the computer screen?
