Tradein issue at store 1535
Hi best buy corporate representative,
I wanted to trade in my tablet at store 1535, Jersey city, NJ and the assistant denied saying that the tablet was not in the system. I am aware about the conditions - tablet working, no cracks and not e-reader - and mine passed through all except for it not being in the trade in system. So, I asked to speak to a manager - Mr.Chayanne. He told me that if it is not in the system, he wont be able to do. I had seen other people having problems, I opened this forum and directed him to similar questions/scenarios which were also answered by BBY social media specialist, and stressed about ANY working tablet even if not in trade-in system. He read it and still stood by his decision. I asked if he would oblige on recieving an email/phone call from one of the specialists here. He said "I am going to say the same thing to them and such tradeins not possible in my store".
I just dont know, if this makes any sense. If I am right, could one of you specialists or administrator kindly call/educate him.

I’ve had my eye on getting a new tablet recently, especially now with the Kindle Fire HD trade in offer we are providing. Please know that I’ve already reached out to local leadership at our Jersey City store and provided them with the necessary information about this promotion. As long as your tablet meets the requirements above and you visit the store prior to 10/11/2014, you shouldn’t have any future problems participating in the promo. IPhone 5 power button issue .Apple store can't help !
I have an issue with my power button on my iPhone 5.It works perfectly sometimes and sometimes it doesn't .I have to press it 2,3 times to get it work .I took it to the Apple store and it worked perfectly there so they said they can't replace it unless they see the problem and they are right . But I don't know what to do it does it sometimes ,how am I going to go there in the right time .Do you have any other suggestions ? Thank you.
You can try calling an Apple support number for your location: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and see if they can help. Otherwise, when it starts acting up take it to an Apple store genius bar.
But try the support line first and see what help they offer. -
Issue with store apps when upgrading to Windows 8.1
Every once in awhile when performing an in-place upgrade from Windows 8.0 Enterprise to Windows 8.1 Enterprise, we will experience a strange issue where most of the default store apps will not launch. They will attempt to launch, and then drop the
user back to the desktop with the icon for the app showing in the taskbar. I have tried running the app troubleshooter but it gives the message "Microsoft account required". The problem here is we are using active directory accounts and
we don't want the users to have to create or login to use these default apps.
I know I can use DISM to remove those apps, and I know I can use DISM to install apps, but is there a way to do this with the default store apps? I believe that I would need the appx files to do this? Are those in the image somewhere?
I also tried running "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth" but this also was unable to correct the issue.Hi,
Sometimes, after upgrading to Windows 8.1, the Store App may not start, or it might still show the number of available updates on the Live Tile
To fix this, run the following in a Command Window (CMD) to re-register the Store App:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML

Issue with STOR using FTP & TLS
Currently I've developed a small FTPSClient class which basically extends Apache's FTPClient. After a lot of work, I was able to get connected, log in, etc. Now, I'm having a problem sending a file to the FTP server (data channel protected.)

Anyways here's the applicable code and if anyone has done this before I would greatly appreciate some help.
Also , I'm in local passive mode and another odd note is that small files (< 5kb) send across fine.

}-BillI have had this issue many times too. I have found that simply exporting the HTML and uploading using a 3rd party programme like Filezilla proves much easier and faster.

WE have implemented PS, MM , FICO, SD, Modules only
Now to issue goods from Stores what are the Criteria to be followed
based on what reference the goods issue should take place
the PS are creating Reservations and goods issue can be done to reservations
and for GI to Cost center, network, WBS, Project, Sales related, and for other requirement,
how will the SAP system notify the Stores for Goods issue as done iBY resevations,
Can goods be issued on Planned orders or Purchase requisitions also.
iam confused can any one throw light on Inventory management. and Goods issue.
any precautions while doing initial entry of goods to SAP should only be done BY MT 561?

Its very imp part of implem is stock upload
u have to take care that the right price have to be upload in accounting view of those materials having S price indiacteo generally semifinased and finished material
As value of material with MAP ie V can be taken care at 561 but Material with S indactoer price in acounting view is very important. so before uploading stock check the prices of material with S
and u can put value in MB1A 561 for matrials with V indicator (u will have to activate amount field for 561 movement in OMJJ and make Ext. GA amount in LC field as opt entry

Where do it start, iTunes 7.1.3 is a bomb! I changed my quicktime settings in preferences, audio, to safemode, rate:32khz, size:16bit, channels: Stereo, Music Syntheszisor: general midi and the hissing, garbling is somewhat better. But, if you use any other application the sound again distorts. Major issue.
Next: Itunes is unable to browse Album covers on this computer!
Itunes Store: when going to movies or othe areas, message: unable to browse Album covers on this computer and then Itunes crashes! Solutions welcome!I give up!

Dilemma around material issue from stores
Hello
A national water management authority is replacing their paper-based systems with Oracle. They have sufficient licenses of Oracle Purchasing but not enough of Inventory and none of Order Management.
Departments send in their material requests for approval to their departmental managers. After approval, a departmental representative picks up the material from stores. This process is entirely now on paper. In my opinion, Move Orders is the "best" Oracle solution for this? Am I right?
However, our hands are tied by the constraint of fixed Inventory licenses. The number of requesters is many times more. To get around, we plan to have departmental batch user IDs in Oracle e.g. ACCOUNTING_DEPARTMENT_STORES_REQUESTER. Employees will enter their Move Order requests with their departmental user IDs and use the Reference field for their internal employee numbers. Is this the only option?

If you are open for customization you can try following.
0. create a dummy subinventory ..say DEPT ...(or u can also create multiple subinventories for each department ..)
1. Let the users create Internal Requisitions using their named user name ... here source organization and destination organization will be same but source subinventories will be stores and destination subinventory will be the DEPT subinventory.
2. Let it go for approval to department heads.
3. Once approved, write a custom concurrent program that will look for the approved IRs with destination subinventory = DEPT, and create Approved Move Orders of type Move Order Issue ...here Issue-To-Account should be derived based on Department. You can populate some DFF field on move order header with the reference of the Internal Requisition Id (This link will also be used in the IR selection criteria).
There are Public APIs available to create Move Orders.
(Requisition Approval workflow can also be modified to call the custom procedure, instead of scheduled concurrent program)
4. Now Stores user (an Inventory user) will allocate and transact the material to department against the issue

App Store Mavericks issue - App Store Button Toggles between "Install App" button and "Free Update"
When I go to the app store and click on the "Free Upgrade" Button it switches immediately to the green "Install App" button. Nothing is downloading in the background. When "Install App" is clicked on it immediately goes back to "Free Download".
Currently running 10.7.5, 2009 Macbook Air, app store account is Canadian. Currently located in Grenada. Friends with other accounts (USA, Canada) have been able to upgrade without issue.This has been happening for a few weeks now with no solution in sight. It seems to be an issue with the App Store, not the phone. You'll just have to deal with it for now. Use the search function on the right or just look through recent thread titles to see several other discussion on this issue.

Apps update issue - iTunes Store sign-in/Apple ID
Thanks in advance for your help. My iPhone 5s is set to automatically update my apps. This has been working fine. Today, however there is a problem. Today the App Store app is prompting me to manually update the apps, and the ID it is asking me for the password for is not mine - it's my wife's.
This is very strange, and I asked myself if I've made any changes to either mine or my wife's iphone settings recently. I've only made one change, 2 days ago. The change I made was on my wife's iphone 5s. She was getting a message about not enough storage on her iCloud to complete a backup. When I took a look, I saw that there were 2 devices on the account, her new phone ("this iPhone") and the previous phone we wiped and gave away. So I deleted the old device since it was sucking up all her storage.
At first I didn't see how there could be a connection with my issue, but I've noted one thing which may not be coincidental. In looking at my app update history, I can see that the last day any apps were auto updated was the same day and prior to I made the change to my wife's phone. Must be a connection?
Can someone help with a diagnosis, recommended next steps, etc?When an app that is updating is asking for an alternate password or Apple id login, that is due to the fact that the login the app is asking for IS THE Login that was used when the app was first purchased/downloaded.
What one must do in this situation is to logout of your device with your current apple id login and then to log back in with the alternate apple id login . Once login in with the requested apple id you then will be able to update the cantankerous app.

POSDM Issue: Unknown Store Number in workbench

We added a new store to POSDM. The site is setup in Retail. I added the site to POS Customizing but we are getting this error in the workbench "Unknown Store Number".
Also table /BI0/TPLANT does NOT show the site I added and saved in customizing.

ThanksTypically best NOT to do something like this in a procedure, but there are cases where it's needed.
In those cases, you need to use Native Dynamic SQL.

1. I Successfully registered Schema into database
2. Then i generate table from registered Schema
2. In my java code i validated XML document against Schema and it's successfully validate.
3. But when i stored this XML into this generated table it's give me error

I got this my error solution. My XML document is not well structured based on my registered XML Schema.
Means In My XML Document there are some invalid value and that not match my schema pattern so it's gives this error
SQL Error: ORA-31061: XDB error: XML event error
ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing
LSX-00333: literal "94032000" is not valid with respect to the pattern
For Solution we have two ways
1. I have changed this literal "94032000" value in my xml file then save it.
2.
- We have to delete this schema then
- we have to change Schema pattern for particular element
like :--

<xs:whiteSpace value="preserve"/>
<xs:pattern value="[0-9]{3}"/>
</xs:restriction>
- then store xml into database it works..
