Trading partner is not populated on G/L accounts

Dear All,
We have activated trading partners.
When the SD document is posted only customer account documents are getting populated with "trading partner".
However - "trading partner" is not copied to G/L account.(revenue accounts, cost of goods sold).
Is there any standard SAP solution to solve this?

No this will not have influence on other areas which are not inter-company. But if you want the system to default the trading partner from one line to all other lines in a document with trading partner, then you have to de-activate this switch.
And if you have a scenario when you are posting to more than one trading partners within a single document, then you shouldn't use this document type. You should use then document type with the Inter-co switch on and system will expect you to manually inter the trading partners in the off-set G/L accounts. This inter-co switch is a little misnomer.
I have refreshed my log-in, you can try the point assignments now.

Thanks when I put the actual IP addresses it worked. Now I have few questions, it would be great help if you could answer them.
1. The machine where B2B Integration is installed has been assigned with multiple IP addresses. Only the first two set of numbers are same and the last two numbers are different. For example : 10.90.12.80, 10.90.18.22. Therefore for the host partner if I need to assign the Generic Identifier which IP do I need to choose? Also which IP I should be using for the Transport Server?
2. I want to accept all the cXML ORDER messages sent by all trading partners(TP) to resolve one TP in B2B Integration. We are going to lookup the TP in our BPEL process, so we only need the B2B integration to validate the document sent in . Therefore all the four subnets in the IP address may vary. In this case I cannot use a IP address therefore how can I specify the Generic Identifier? Or is there any different method I can use?
3. I receive my cXML punchout from my trading partners from different countries, for example say Italy and France. The trading partner id is same but the country from where the punchout originated is different. I don’t have any other field in the message to determine which country the order originated from but I need to figure out the country code some how. In current implementation we have different URL for each country to resolve the country code. How can I do this in B2B Integration tool?
4. Is there a way to Dynamically change the URL that a Delivery channel is supposed to send to? If a customer changes the URL that a document is supposed to go to, can we change this on the fly?

Hi
Since the error states "Process_ORDERS" as the Business action I assume you are trying to enq the ORDERS document from Acme to GlobalChips. The issue then would be due to the fact that there is a trailing space character after the GlobalChips
Please check for a space (or spaces) after
to = GlobalChips
Also ensure that the UI has the trading partner with the same spelling ie. GlobalChips and not Globalchips

AIP-50547: Trading partner agreement not found for the given input values

I am trying to setup outbound 810. I have it working in one environment I took export and imported in another environment. But it gave me following error. I purged repository and configured everything again and it still gives me same error:

I took SQL from the log and used the parameter in the log and executed query at sql prompt and it finds agreement id see below.

Few question and pointers.
1. Are these two environments pointing to the same repository. Please ensure the system date is appropriate.
2. Please point your second environment to the Repository of the first environment and check. This will give us some data point.
3. Make sure the agreement is deployed in your new environment and active. I assume you are importing the agreement on a clean repository.
4. Please send us the export and payload file for analysis

Trading Partner field not transferred to receiver line items in CO.

Hello all,
We were facing the problem of the Trading partner field VBUND not getting reflected in the receiver line items in CO & PCA. to get around this problem SAP note 543818 & 547387 was implemented.
This solved the problem in CO while the problem in PCA persists. If anybody could suggest an alternative it would be great

when you post a enjoy transaction like in FB50, click on "More Data" if the Trading partner is an optional field in the GL master data you can input there as well.

Business Partner Address not populating

Hi,
The Business partner address field is not getting populated properly. We did a full load last week and still we could not see those addresses for certain business partners. However we were able to see the addresses in RSA3 and PSA too but not in the InfoObject. Can anyone throw a light on this issue. Anything will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
As the data is getting populated successfully till PSA there should be no problem with the datasource.
Now, if you are using 3.X, then check for the transfer rules and update rules also check whether
any routines have been implemented and check the routine for any logic implemented in filtering/hiding/removing the address data. Try to debug the same using "simulate update" option over any datapackage.
If you are using 7.0 then check in the transformation for the mapping of fields or any routines implemented in
filtering/hiding/removing the address.

Business area is not Populated in Set off account During MIRO.

Hi All,
     I have some issue in MIRO. I have Service tax set off account. When i do MIRO Business area is updated in Vendor Line item, Provisional Items and even in Withholding TAX line item(TDS) but System does not show Business area in SERVICE TAX SET OFF line item.More over , when i see the document in FB03 , in Entry view no business area is there for SERVICE TAX SET OFF but When i see the GENERAL LEDGER view business is there.

Company Code = 'XXXX' AND Tcode = 'MIRO' AND Document Type = 'RE' (For MIRO) AND Plant = 'XXXX' AND G/L Account = 'XXXXXXX' ( SET OFF ACCOUNT)
Substitute:
Business area = 'XXXX'
But it doesn't work.

Issue with Trading Partner Identification - Files are not picked

As per user guide and also the following note

I did uncomment the following line
#oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP = Interchange | Group | Exchange
from tip.properties
But when I put a file 810 EDI file "test_canon810_11i.dat" for B2B pickup B2B errors with
"Trading partner agreement not found for the given input values: From party[NAME] "test", To party[NAME] "IKON", Business action name "810_inbound_p"; also verify agreement effectiveToDate"
But if I just rename the file to "CANON_810_11i.dat" B2B successfully processes the file.
I have setup trading partners IKON and CANON with appropriate edi interchange id but not sure why B2B is erroring in previous case and in the latter case why is it trying to identify the trading partner by filename (even though the tip.properties has been updated as mentioned earlier)
Let me know if you have any pointers in fixing above

Hi Sachin,
If you want to use the Interchange Sender/Receiver ID for identification, please set
oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP=Interchange in the tip.properties. Uncomment the #oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.edi.identifyFromTP = Interchange | Group | Exchange would not work.
As a result, the B2B Server defaults to identifying the Trading Partner base on the file name. You can see from the b2b.log that the From party[NAME] = test or CANON. That's because we use the first portion of the file name as the TP name.

Populating Trading Partner

Hi All,
I have a requirement as below,
1) For vendor/customer posting I have to populate the trading partner field in GL line item with trading partner of vendor/customer.
2) If it is a GL to GL posting I have to populate the trading partner from GL master.
Please help me on how to achieve this.

In case of customers please follow and also check its account group field status in OBD3for trading partner.
In the SAP menu, select Accounting -> Financial accounting -> Accounts receivable -> Master records -> Change. Proceed as follows to maintain customer master records:
1. In the initial screen, flag the indicator "Control data" in the general data area.
2. In the detail screen for control data, enter the company ID in the field "Trading partner".
For vendors ( also check its account group field status in OBD3for trading partner)
Select Accounting -> Financial accounting -> Accounts receivable -> Master records -> Change. Proceed as follows to maintain vendor master records:
1. In the initial screen, select the indicator "Control data" in the general data area.

Special Ledger Summary Table trading partner filed update

Hi,
We are in SAP 4.7 version. We do have SPL past 15 years. Recently I got request to add few fields to the existing SPL table group, ex: Functional areas and Trading Partner fields.
I added these fields and I am testing now. Trading partner filed is updating in all tables for GL account document. For inter company vendor and customer invoices document trading partner field is updating only in Actual table for both lines, but not in totals table. It is updating only GL account line in Inter company Vendor invoice, but not in Inter company vendor line item trading Partner, which is populated from inter company vendor master. it is updating in GL document, CO document and SPL actual tables. I am trying to resolve this issue; Please let me know your idea.

We are going forward with getting the natural account detail data using the profit center extractor 0EC_PCA_3, and getting the ferc summary data using the general ledger extractor 0FI_GL_1. With our testing so far, this combination will provide us the data we need in BCS.

Account 12221001 requires trading partner to be filled

Hi
The user had some old documents and he is trying to clear them.
During clearing he is facing an error "Account 12221001 requires trading partner to be filled"
Trading partner field is blank in the reconciliation account 12221001 and also customer account.
BSEG of the document which gives the problem. The reconciliation account is 12221001, the trading partner for the customer line is not filled in.
How can we fill the trading partner on this line item?

hi,
trading partner field is populated from account , customer or vendor.
if your customer wants to clear old documents, most probably, some documents are filled with trading partner field and others are not.
in this situation you cannot clear these documents.
i have faced the same iproblem. to solve it, you should determine the balance of trading partner included documents,
you should post two documents using a dummy document.
lets say the balance is 20.000 usd
you should post: (initially you should maintain trading partner field in customer data)
DR/CR customer.........20.000usd
CR/DR dummy acc. ..........20.000 usd
second posting ( you should clear the trading partner field in customer data)
CR/DR custoemr......20.0000usd
DR/CR dummy acc.....20.000 usd
now you can clear items with trading partner is filled.

Trading partner related issue

Hello All,
we are in ecc 6.0 .Using Document splitting.
For Intercompany transactions trading partner field is populated.We want to see the trading partner field on the zero balancing line items also i.e in General Ledger View where we have this zero balancing account.How does we populate it on that line item as well.Does standard SAP does that or any User exits or substitutions available for general ledger view in Document splitting????
