hey pals,
whats the best way to bring in traffic light status on to the frames in management cockpit.its pretty much easy to bring when u assign tachometer as chart type but will this work for all kinda charts?.....its urgent.....

How to delete request in yellow traffic light?

Hi experts:
I created one infopackage yesterday to load the vendor text from our DEV source system. Its update mode is "Initialize Delta Process". When I right click on the infopackage and select manage, I see this request is still in yellow and 'Request has a yellow traffic light in the monitor - Cannot be deleted.' And when I go to Data selection I got the information: "Init. select. for field name currently running in request ***".
Does anybody know how to delete the request still in running or in yellow traffic?
Another thing is when I double click on the infopackage a warning message will pop up with: " Assign a language field to IOBJ 0LANGU; danger of short dump". Do I need to take care of this warning?

Hi,
Make the request forcefully into RED and then delete it, you can do it in RSMO or goto Obejct and Manage and then Click on YELLOW color Ball and then it will popup one window there make to red and delete it.
The reasons for Yellow
Check the DataSource in RSA3, if it is working fine and able to see the data in RSA3, there is no problem in DS level, then checl the Mappings and any routines in BW for that DS, if this is also fine then check the below options.
See Dumps in ST22, SM21 also.
Check RFC Connection between ECC and BW systems, i.e. RSA1-->Source System->Right Click on Source system and Check.
You must have the following profiles to BWREMOTE or ALEREMOTE users.So add it. Bcoz either of these two users will use in background to get extract the data from ECC, so add these profiels in BW.
S_BI-WHM_RFC, S_BI-WHM_SPC, S_BI-WX_RFC
And also check the following things.
1.Connections from BW to ECC and ECC to BW in SM59
2.Check Port,Partner Profiles,and Message Types in WE20 in ECC & BW.
3.Check Dumps in ST22, and SM21.
4.If Idocs are stuck i.e see the OLTP Idoc numbers in RSMO Screen in (BW) detials tab see in bottom, you can see OLTP Idoc number and take the Idoc numbers and then goto to ECC see the status in WE05 or WE02, if error then check the log else goto to BD87 in ECC and give the Idoc numbers and execute manually and see in RSMO and refresh.
5.Check the LUWs struck in SM58,User Name = * (star) and run it and see Strucked LUWs and select our LUW and execute manually and see in RSMO in BW.

SAP Service Ticket: Use of due date and traffic light

Presently our company is not doing much with the traffic light and due date when managing our tickets from the inbox. If there is someone making use of these, I would like to know what are some your your Best Practices. Ideally we would like to use these to improve our "issue to resolution times".
We are using CRM5 and we will be updating to CRM7 in May of 2010.
Any eperiences that you would like to share are greatly appreciated.

We have used this functionality for IC-Agent Inbox. Our Inbound agents can search for the service tickets in there Agent inbox. The tickets are displayed with Due date for the resolution as per the SLA based on the subject and code group. This helps them in understanding of the ticket resoultion time .
also the Different Symbols are used for the tickets
1.Tikects which are still within SLA but are not resolved are classified by Yellow Colour
2.Tickets which have violated the SLA are cassifed with red colour
3.Tickets which are completed within SLA are classified by Green Colur Symbol.

How Do I Disable Lights Out Management (LOM)?

I was happily running 10.5 Server yesterday on my Intel XServe. The outside world was able to see my web server just fine.
I updated to 10.6 Server late last night and now my http service is not visible to the outside world (or local LAN for that matter).
Suspecting it has something to do with Lights Out Management (LOM).
How do I get LOM to turn loose of the local IP address of the ethernet interface?

What makes you think the LOM has anything to do with this?
There are about two million other things I'd check before I'd worry about the LOM. In fact I can't even think how the LOM could have have effect.
For a start have you verified the services are running? What do the logs say? Can you hit the web service from the machine itself? What about other services that should be running on the machine?
Have you checked the network configuration to make sure the server's IP address hasn't changed, that the default route is set correctly?
Then there are external factors to consider - maybe coincidences that occurred around the same time as your upgrade and may be masking the problem. Have you checked that your port forwarding is set correctly in your router? Are you sure your ISP hasn't started blocking port 80 traffic?

Traffic Light Color for Empty Requests Disabled

Hi Gurus!
I'm having a trouble with a DELTA InfoPackage associated to our 0VENDOR_ATTR DataSource... For some reason the "Traffic Light Color for Empty Requests" option is Disabled (grayed out), and that's causing the failing of its respective ProcessChain (since after Initialization of the data source there are no new data to load)... I was wondering if you may have an idea about what am i doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
As you have selected the option for the init package, the system is not allowing the same for the Delta as the same will be applicable for Delta as well.
The other place where you can set is at the Manage of the target or at the monitor (RSMO) level. If once set its fine for that target.
You dont need to worry.
Are you facing any issue for the data loads which are with 0 records at present due to the status? Do let us know.

EWA - traffic light pictures missing - text rating available

Hello,
we have currently SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 with SP Stack 26 installed. In all our EWA reports the traffic light pictures are missing.
Nevertheless, the rating is correct and visible as the missing image comment. This is within the DSWP preview, in the Word documents and also in the HTML reports. We already deleted and updated the service definitions but the issue stays.
Is there any correction for this?

We had issues with Basis SP08 (SAPKB70108) cause it introduced new procedure to determine SAPWORKDIR.
Note 1501119 describes this change.
In our case the SAPWORKDIR ended up on
-folder names causing lots of issues in RMAUTH-transaction. Check the SAPWORKDIR-folder to see if the icons gets downloaded or not!

Traffic Light Canvas???

I was doing my assignment on my Traffic Light program but I found something which I didn't quite get. I managed to find that I was able to use case statements to change the color of my traffic lights (having being told I couldn't :S) and found something which is quite weird, I came across a method which goes like this:

you also might want an emergency override so that emergency services can preempt the light's for an entire intersection....
speaking of which... you need to make sure you have more then 1 set, as you need them pointing in several directions, and probably several for each direction (I'm sure there's state and local building codes that apply here), so you'll need some centrallized controler for at least the intersection, if not for multiple intersections.

Unable to display the Traffic Lights in a simple Classical Report.

Error while trying to register the SMP3.0 Application on Management Cockpit Using Logon Plugin

I am working on SMP 3.0 SP 02 ->cordova 3.3.1 - 0.3.1, i am able to ping the Odata endpoint in Management Cockpit successfully. I followed the steps which are present in the getting started with kapsel - 2 (use of logon plug in). i am able to register to SMP 3.0 server by using register.html on the machine that SMP server is running but not from other machine using port 8083. Also if i try to use registration2.html which uses login plugin am getting the errors. Please help me out with this error

As mentioned above, by default port 8083 is used only by the management cockpit. Try using the HTTP port which by default is 8080.
The ports are configured in this file.
C:\SAP\MobilePlatform3\Server\config_master\org.eclipse.gemini.web.tomcat\default-server.xml
If the registration fails one quick test to verify basic connectivity to the SMP 3.0 server from the device or emulator is to open the following URL from a browser on the device or emulator.
http://SMP_Server_IP_Address:8080/sapui5/
If the above URL opens correctly in a browser on the machine that the SMP server is running on but not from the browser on a mobile device or emulator there is likely something such as a firewall preventing communication over port 8080.

Traffic light on the basis of last month

Hi guys,
I have a question about the traffic light in the model Visual Composer. I would like to have a traffic light besids a table or graphic that wil be shown the status ( Green, red, yellow!) on the basis of the last month. In the table or in a graphic wil be shown several data of several months. But the traffic light have to respond on the basis of last month. That means that, if the last month exception( in the query) is green, the traffic light also wil be green.
Can anybody help me please?

How can i get only two types of order as example in a pie chart? I have seen that in a pie chart you can only add one formula, not two.So!!

In the VC model create an Expression Box. Double click on this box to open up its Properties.
In the control properties window there is tab "Styles", here give Green color to the column 'Style' and in the next column 'Condition' select 'Enter Formula...'
Select the field and enter the condition.

   Couple of suggestions...If this thread is   still relevant....or please close this thread...
1) Make sure you are   not having any issues with running the query, try running it directly in BEX/RSRT.
2)Once we know that there is no issue with teh query...try running the Trace on the user (ST05) to get further details on the error by trying to run it from management cockpit..
3) Check    Note 1285242 - CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV' no data received.
