For free using cellular voice or data? Forget it. Especially if you have Verizon. T-Mobile is the only US carrier with reasonable roaming rates and services. Verizon is the worst for International roaming.
If you have a WiFi connection you can use Facetime, Skype or similar apps for voice, and Yahoo Messenger, GoogleTalk, Twitter or similar for texting.
If you are eligible for an upgrade get an iPhone 5S from Verizon. It is unlocked for International use. So you can use an Israeli SIM while there. It won't be free, but it will be no more expensive than anyone in Israel pays.

Can I upgrade to Mountain Lion from Leopard for free?

Hi Apple Support,
I was in the Apple, Covent Garden store the other day and an assistant said that I could upgrade to Mountain Lion from Leopard for free in one CD. He told me to call a number which I did and the assistant over the phone had no idea about this offer.
Can someone dispell the confusion for me?

You can't. The Mountain Lion upgrade is only free for people who purchased a new Mac on or after July 26 without it installed, and all of the computers which fall into that category shipped with Lion, not Leopard.

I am facing the issue while creating the Sales order through "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" , all is going well in normal cases but when I process the contract with FREE GOODS line items for which free goods condition record is maintained it fails to create the Sales order. Is there any special treatment for this Free goods case. Is there any Flag to be passed from BAPI?

You can set a break-point include "FV45PFAP_VBAP_BEARBEITEN_VORBE" that is called by both the SAP Standard and BAPI where the data is prepared and checked in the internal table XVBAP. Compare both SAP standard VA01 and your 'Z' program for what may be different in XVBAP.
I think the problem my be with regards to the business_object number that is hardcoded in the standard function module. It has given me issues before and hence I tend to use the function module SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE to create sales documents with.

Is there a free version of an Mac Word that I can download. My previous computer was an HP and it was installed for free. I tried downloading it but halfway through the process, a message popped saying it is currently running in one of my programs.

I googled and downloaded a free version in my mac but halfway of it being downloaded, I was informed it cannot be properly installed as it is running in my program? Is there a built in Word for Mac. I have never been a Mac user so everything is new to me.

Pre-installed Mountain Lion ; How to download ML from Appstore for free

I've just purchased a macbookair that came with Mountain Lion 10.8.0. I wanted to download ML from appstore to make a bootable USB key for a future clean install, or just in case of trouble. But there is no mention for me to have it for free in the appstore, i have only the message that it is already installed on my computer.
The only apps that appears bought are "ilife" which i guess i will be able to download. Why Mountain Lion doesn't appears as a bought app ??

From what i understand, in case of trouble, i have no free way to boot from an usb key to repare my disk but there are already in my mac tools to repare a disk in trouble. Internet recovery allows me to download again my system if there is a big issue.
I've had a lot of macs since more than 20 years but it's the first time that one came without an installation disk.
I guess, it can be a good thing, but it's always safer to have a physical and without internet way of re-install a faulty system. It's a little strange not beeing able to download a thing you already have, installed on your computer.

Cannot Import Email and Folders from Outlook for Mac 2011

After downloading Lion, I could not import emails and folder structure from Outlook for Mac 2011.

You're in luck, Imap and Exchange accounts store their data on the server.
Leave Outlook alone, just add the accounts to Mail and let them synchronize, no import required. You can leave them in Outlook or remove them as you please once everything in Mail is done.

Future of JavaFx and commitment from Sun

Hi All,
I wanted to get some insight into the level of investment an organization could make into adopting JavaFX as the preferred UI technology for their products/applications. Is Sun committed to promoting JavaFX and making it production quality and implementing with time all the missing UI components? What is th efuture of JavaFx after the Sun-Oracle merger?

in my opinion:
JavaFX is a promising technology but it is currently too green to consider use in a serious application. To my knowledge, only one company has so far released a serious product written in JavaFX (Indaba), but I've never used it and they themselves describe it as "alpha". I believe Indaba went with JavaFx because they were reliant on Java APIs (they were originally going to use Flash)
The JavaFX team seem to be working hard on improving the technology, particularly around performance, however it is still quite buggy, and this will hamper efforts to produce a serious application. Also, as you mention, there are gaps in the components available for use in applications. There is also work going on for tooling.
There are very little public facts available on the future of JavaFX (aside from sporadic marketing pushes). Oracle made a public commitment to JavaFX at JavaOne, but I don't know whether you can bet a corporate strategy on that alone. We know that future releases are coming, albeit at a slow pace.
It would be great if Sun/Oracle could come up with something more detailed, as I think that (alongside a stable platform) would do a lot to increase the confidence of developers.
My guess is that it will end up as a stable technology, though I've no idea how long this will take. To that end, I would closely monitor the progress of the technology but maybe not adopt it as the preferred technology just yet.

A program using templates and static objects causes link-time errors of undefined
symbols. The compiler currently does not support reference to non-global file-scope
objects from templates.
So my problem is:
I have static tyname objects in Templates and get that link-time errors of undefined
symbols.
And I do not know how to get rid of that static typename objects.
Is there a Workaround?

migrating from 4.2 to SunWorkshop[tm] 6 update 2 C++ Compiler.
Here comes the original(4.2) code:
