  • EDIFECS Mapping not found in the X12 Output file in Oracle B2B 11g

    Hi,
We are using Oracle SOA suite 11g, we have created a outbound process for EDI 855 which is PO Acknowledgement.
We are using a XML Gateway for the outbound and consuming the message in BPEL. We are mapping the OAG xml to EDIFECS xml to be consumed by Oracle B2B. We had created the EDIFECS xsd and ecs file using Oracle B2B editor and got it validated.
Now the issue is we have mapped few elements in BPEL and the same data is found in the payload message in Oracle B2B, but we are unable to see the data in the X12 output file.
Any thoughts will be hightly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Oracle for genetic databases: implementations, overviews?

I'm interested in obtaining information on Oracle
implementations incorporating large volumes of information on &
including: genetic experiments (i.e., gene codes or
identifiers), optics (wavelengths, intensities, etc.) &
increases in cell growth. I'm going to be interested in Oracle
datamining &/or datawarehousing in order to get information out
of this that is not otherwise going to be obvious by looking at
it. Is there a general overview of other implementations of
Oracle (8i or 9i?) like this in the field? I'd be very grateful
    for info...thanks,
    Noel Whelan

    Kevin,
I would definitely focus on 9i as we've added many new features that are relevant for bioinformatics. NEW in 9i:
    - Ability to store and search XML data types
    - Data mining embedded natively within database (Naive Bayes and Association Rules in 9i, Clustering and Decision Trees (using adaptive Bayes networks) in 9iR2)
    - UPSERT (facility to fast update a record or insert a new record). Great for updating life science data.
    - IFS forcollaboration and centralized storage of external data types such as powerpoint, word, etc. docs. Users can drag & drop files into IFS for storage, management and access within the database.
    - Table Functions to allow piplined "C" procedures for performance improvements of compute intensive operations.
Many useful features are already in 8i (see below) but have been updated or now can be integrated with new 9i features:
    - Gateways for native access to external data sources
    - External tables for ability to make an external table appear equivalent to a native Oracle table so you can query and perform operations on.
    - Oracle Text for efficient text searches
    - Oracle InterMedia for storage of image, video etc. data types and ability to perform basic queries and operations on them.
    - Oracle Workflow for automating processes within the database. E.g Upload data from GenBank, Mine data to find "targets" and distribute reports to appropriate scientists.
    - Oracle Portal to facilitate collaboration and set up company "My.company.com" standard portals with personalized information, reports, etc.
    - Oracle Thesaurus so you can define multiple synonyms for a word, gene or pathogen etc.
    - Extensible indexing to enable efficient search and retrieval functions for complex domains such as text, spatial, image, chemistry, proteomics and genomics
But, bottom line, I'd jump to the new release. Check OTN and Oracle University for technical information and training materials.

    Dear Charles Berger,
How can I see the Internal LInks that you posted?
They look useful as I am a student in bioinformatics currently taking an intro course to database systems and will be implementing a db in Oracle8i.
Also, would you suggest I try to work with 9i and skip 8i. THe problem I have is that all the books and documentation I have is for 8i. Is 8i already history?

  • Training Course and material - CR800

    Hello,
I am an admin in SAP CRM 2007, and need help.  I want to take the best course possible to help me in my work, and I have been told that CR800 would be my best option.  However, I cannot find a course scheduled.  Can anyone offer a better alternative or can I get my hands on the training material softcopy at a minimum?  I understand it is copyrighted, but how can I get trained if SAP does not offer the courese?  Specifically we are working in E-Commerce, ISA, E-marketing, Web channel.  Thank you very much for your help.

    Hi John,
If you want more specific learning material about SAP E-Commerce (E-Selling, E-Marketing and E-Services), also called WebChannel, Internet Sales, ISA, B2B and B2C, you can also try:
    - SAP CR850 - It is more specific to E-Commerce with R/3 ECC 6 Backend.
And you can also get at SAP Market Place the following Documents.
-E-Commerce Development and Implementation Guide (very Techinical)
      -E-Commerce Implementation Guide. (Installation Instructions)
-SAP E-Commerce 7.0 Development and Extension Guide'.
The guides are available in the http://service.sap.com/instguides (check the 'Operate' section for SAP CRM 7.0).
As a last option, if you feel it is not enought you can always contact SAP Education, they may find courses related to the subject.
    I hope it helps you.

  • How to implement callout in Oracle B2B 11g

    Hi,
I am referring to the document http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/user.1111/e10229/callouts.htm#CHDEFBDG and trying to implement callout for a specific requirement.
Initially i want to implement the callout using simple XML-XML transformation . For this i have done couple of settings in oracle B2B but unfortunately it is not working. Below is the detailed steps.
    1) I have copied a example java Code Example of an XML-to-XML Transformation in section 13-2 of the above mentioned document to JDeveloper, compiled the code and created the jar file (TestCallout.jar).
    2) I have copied the .jar file to a specific path (ex: D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\MyCallout ) and mentioned the same path in B2B UI / Configuration tab/ Callout Direcotry.
    3) Created a New .xsl file using Jdeveloper where i am mapping from one format of XML schema to another format of XML schema.
    4) I have created a new callout in the callout tab and below are the details:
    Implementation Class : com.mycallout.XMLTransform
    Library Name : TestCallout.jar
Now please suggest me where i can mention the path of .xsl file which i have created, in Oracle B2B callout UI ?
What parameter name and value should i mention in the parameters section?
Below are my XSL file :
    <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
    xmlns:xp20="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/oracle.tip.pc.services.functions.Xpath20"

    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
Please help me to move further.

Now please suggest me where i can mention the path of .xsl file which i have created, in Oracle B2B callout UI ?In the step#4 itself, you need to add callout parameter with name "xsltFile" which should be of type string and value of this parameter should be absolute path of XSL file (including file name). So suppose you have copied the xsl in directory C:\xsl and name of XSL file is abc.xsl then value of parameter "xsltFile" should be C:\xsl\abc.xsl

  • What additional resources are required to do the TestStand training courses I and II?

I have the TestStand course manuals for courses I and II and am currently trying to refresh what I learned a couple of months ago when I took the courses.  I'm at the point where almost every VI required comes up broken because additional libraries are required in LabVIEW.  Why aren't the additional required libraries listed in the course documentation?  What are the additional libraries and how do I get them?

    Hi there!
If I had to guess I would say that you're missing the TS support API libraries for LabVIEW... Since those are the only 'special' libraries used by any of the examples in the TestStand 3.x or 4.x training manuals.
I'm going to assume that you have some recent version of LabVIEW (8.x?) and some recent version of TestStand (3.x) installed? Unless you took the NI training course more than a few years ago, in which case you might need earlier version of TS, LabVIEW version really shouldn't matter. Evaluation copies ought to be sufficient so I wouldn't blame those...
(If you don't have LabVIEW at all. Make sure you have the correct LabVIEW Run Time Engine version, as that's a pretty common source of TS errors... But without LabVIEW half of the exercises in the training manual are moot anyway...)
In your LabVIEW install path, (C:\ program files etc...\LabVIEW 8.x\)  look for the folder path "vi.lib\addons\TestStand\", it ought to be full of a few *.llb files that TS would furnish to LabVIEW when the product is installed.  Sometimes when you install things in an unexpected order, or if you have multiple LVs installed, these items don't get put where you expect.
If the folder is empty, copy what you need from... the TestStand install path (C:\ program files etc...\TestStand x.x\) folder "AdapterSupport\LabVIEW" and restart LV. This might get you up and running.
If the folder is not empty. Try running a MassCompile from your LabVIEW Tools ->Advanced menu, there might be a version incompatibility issue...
Feel free to send me an email if you're still stuck. But there aren't any external dependencies/hardware drivers needed for the TS training sequences...
    Cheers!

hi, i want to bulid training course before we deploy iphone in my bussiness what can i sue to make screen capture and connect iphone 4 or 4s to a projector in a classroom.thanks

Your iPhone is probably locked to your former cell carrier. In such case only that carrier can unlock it, so you'll need to contact the carrier. Note that unless things have changed recently only 3 offers unlocking. If you used a different carrier, they do not appear to offer unlocking which means that your son will not be able to use your old iPhone. But call your carrier and ask.
    Regards.

  • Sending ebms messages between Hermes 2.0 and Oracle B2B

    Hi everyone,
I'm a italian student and for my master thesis I need to create a comunication between Hermes 2 and Oracle B2B. I just set the trading partnership and the agreement with a custom ebxml document protocol. To create the soa application for the comunication I follow this instruction: http://tomhofte.blogspot.it/2009/11/how-to-configure-ebxml-communication-in.html but when I deploy my application there is this message: "The web service invocation was successful. However, there was no response to the invocation from the server." and there are no errors. Does anyone know another way to develop this application or have some information about this application?
Any kind of help is welcome, thanks.

    hi,
I solved the problem! :) the message: : "The web service invocation was successful. However, there was no response to the invocation from the server." still remaiins, however I send a message to hermes B. My mistake is that I follow the second procedure, proposed by the blog I posted in the first message, to create the mediator in jdeveloper. The first procedure instead is correct.
thanks Anuj Dwivedi, yuor post has been helpful!
