I would like to know if there are any centres offering course in Oracle Financial in Delhi, India. What is the duration for the course and how much does it cost.What is the scope after course completion since I am new to Finance n ERP. I am currently in Vancouver, Canada and plan to be in India in October. Please advice ASAP.

SAP in authorised training centers (New Delhi)

Hello everyone,
I got a mail from Infosat Corp New Delhi that for 40000INR training will be provided by real time consultants and job placement will be in top MNC. To how far these institutes are correct. What is the fee for training in Siemens on FICO. I know FICO very well but I was with no certification and domain. Are there any current openings for freshers in any companies in India ? If I take certification Siemens, can I expect any job with that certification ?
Please somebody give me your suggestion ? I am very hungry for a job on SAP.. By any means I want to join in SAP ...

How to be come an oracle financial Consultant

I had the same problem. My specific requirements were to convert it to double. But the standard ADO.NET numeric should also work. Here is how I've done it in managed C++. This code is trying to be provider independent, hence using dynamic invocation:

Oracle Financial Accounting Hub View issue

Hello all,
I am new to Oracle Financial Accounting Hub.
While i'm doing setup, I got stuck in Accounting Event Class Option ( N - Subledger Accounting Setups > Accounting Method Builder > Events > Accounting Event Class Options ). In that form, In Transaction View field I have to give One views name.
My doubt is what are the filed that i need to inculde. I will be happy if any one send the sample query.

A request for emailed information outside of forum is likely to result in reciept of material that is unauthorised training material or material in breach of copyright. I could not find any specific book for prepration for Z0-140.There is no specific book relating to this exam. As OCP level and especially as already an OCP I would anticapte candidates should have th capacity to review exams topics [http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=41&p_org_id=28&lang=US&p_exam_id=1Z0_140] and look up related documentation. If not they should probably seek out and attend oracle training.

I am afraid, your statement 'At r.12, Oracle has a new modul, i.e. Oracle Payment, which was subdomain of Oracle Payable.' is not correct.
Oracle Payments is an upgrade version of Oracle iPayments of 11i and this module is expected to serve Self service modules. But Payment Batches which is part of Oracle Payables has been moved to Oracle Payments.
You can very well ask them to implement Payment Batches (Processes relating to Funds Disbursement) but not the entire module.

There is no application icon. U need to run the application using web browser.
Check and confirm that all the services are running ex. Apache, forms, reports etc.,
Use any web browser like IE, Netscape and connect to the application logon screen using the following address,
http://localhost.com:8002/
(here webport is assumed as 8002, this information is specified while installing the application)
follow the link information from the screen and login to the application

I know you are Guru. I want to learn Oracle Financial like GL , AP, AR setup or configuration. As you know I was able to install EBS11i on my PC and I also logged in as sysadmin but If you can little bit tell me that after login how I can go to GL , Please be specific that what responsibility I have to select right from beginning after login as sysadmin. If you please tell me some path like select this go next select this . I know it is little anoying but your help in this regard will be appreciated. Just guide us that this is the path to setup GL/AP/AR and from that I can find some way.

Can I get my iPhone 4 replaced (in New Delhi, India) if it is out of Apple's 1-year limited warranty?

My iPhone 4 is around 2 years old now, and it has been working pretty well. But from a few weeks, I am facing problems in the touchscreen. First, the bottom left corner went unresponsive (making me tilt the phone everytime I needed to insert a symbol). The a few days back the entire left edge of the screen got dead. And today, even the bottom edge of the screen has become unresponsive to touch. So you see, the defect is spreading. Typing on my dear phone has become a pain. I have taken utmost care of my phone and the screen is *scratchless*. I have never dropped my phone. There has been no physical damage AT ALL.
I have seen many discussions where the phone got replaced by a brand new one, but most of then have been in the USA. I am living in New Delhi, India and I would like to know if any such replacement schemes are available here. And if yes, are they applicable in my case? If not replaceable, how much will a new touchscreen cost my pocket here in India?

IMG Menu is not showing Financial accounting New in ECC 6.0

We have completed a technical upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 but IMG menu of ECC 6.0 is not showing financial accounting new.I believe financial accounting new is the integral part of ECC 6.0 and both the menu Financial accounting and financial accounting new should show.
If anybody has face this issue,Please respond

I do have access to u201CActivate New General Leader Accountingu201D but help of this node says below points:
The functions for new General Ledger Accounting become available.
In the SAP Reference IMG, the previous Financial Accounting menu is replaced by the Financial Accounting (New) menu. Under Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) and General Ledger (New), you can make the settings for New General Ledger Accounting.
You activate the tables of new General Ledger Accounting so that your posting data is written to them.
Caution:
If you already use classic General Ledger Accounting in your production system, you need to perform the migration of this data before you activate New General Ledger Accounting. Migration is only possible as part of a project. For more information, see the documentation in the SAP Library under Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> General Ledger Accounting (New) -> Tools -> Migration.
I guess this tab is use at the time of going for the functional upgrade which I believe a separate project. We only want to have that both the node u201Cfinancial accountingu201D and u201Cfinancial accounting newu201D should appear.
Please suggest if you have any idea or any person who had faced the same kind of problem in past.

my iphone 4 the screen is totally blank like white screen nothing is visible.replacment done in dadeland mall apple store on 19th of janvaury 2014 this month and it has got 90 days warranty.now i am in new delhi,India.I have called to apple care USA and they have given the toll free number of india they said it a hardware problem and this has to replace only in USA .now i am not going to USA so i would like to request you that please arrange to replace or repair my iphone 4 in apple care centre at new delhi as this iphone has a warranty just they can send the message and apple care people will take care over here as i bought many product from Usa like HP laptop ,sony camera and other things and they have given the international warranty and over here all the sevice centre will take care so why not apple care peoples take care?

How can we clone the Oracle database in new Oracle Home

Hi,
I would like to clone oracle database into new oracle home. How can we set it using OEM.
I am using 10g grid control. Target db is on solaris

after logging into target database, under maintenance tab, data movement header; ther is "clone database" option. When you click on it; you'll see :
Clone Database uses RMAN to duplicate a database from:
-- An open database in ARCHIVELOG mode, or
-- An open database in NOARCHIVELOG mode (restart required), or
-- A saved working directory from previous cloning
Clone Database performs the following operations:
-- Backup each database file and store it in a working directory
-- Transfer each backup file from source to destination host
-- Restore each backup file to existing destination Oracle Home
-- Recover the cloned database with saved archived log files
-- Open the cloned database with resetlogs
It seems to be for cloning to a different host, but i guess you can chose the same host for source and destination. (I've never used cloning on em by the way :))
But firstly, you should create a new oracle home, you can simply copy your oracle home with a new name (cp -R /oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0 /oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0.new) or make a new installation.
I suggest you to do this cloning with CLI. You should take a full backup with RMAN, copy the oracle home, create a new initNEWSID.ora file and nomount the database, restore (or simply copy) controlfiles, restore database (with set newname commands), recover database, open resetlogs.
