Training Needs Analysis TNA

Hello all,
Is this the right forum to post TNA training needs analysis queries for CRM?
This is specific to understanding what training is required for training users in CRM?
thanks

Hi Abhay,
It depends on use of training. If your company wants to utilize your skills then you can suggest:
1. Training in SAMRT FORM and ADOBE Forms.
2. BADI and Related Technologies.
3. Module Pool Programming.
Even U can request for Certification that will add value to your profile.
Now if they want you to go for a course out-side.
then you can request
1. Web-Dynpro
2. ALE IDCO and Work flow
3. XI
4. BI-BW.
Hope this will  help you.

  • Training Need - TN in Training and Event Management

    Hi
Did any one worked on Training Need (TN) in Training and event management? I have the below question.
For France there is a legal requirement to capture some 1.6 % of the employee annual gross salary towards training cost.  So where to record the training cost of the employee in Training and event management and is there any link with payroll.
Logically it sounds as it does.  but where and how is it connected with payroll.
Please revert if you know the solution.
    Brs
    Kenu.

    Hi
    In Table V_T77TNM_DC
We need to have the below entries
    TNM                                              CL_HRTNM_VALO_COMPUT_GUI_FR
    TNM       HRTNM00_REPMOD        CL_HRTNM_VALO_COMPUT_GUI_FR
    TNM       MP168400                       CL_HRBAS_INFTY_1684_GUI_FR
    TNM       RPCTNM9S_REP            CL_HRTNM_INFTY_1036_GUI_FR

  • Report on Training need management

    Hello,
we have to report on training needs by employee with delivery method : we need a report to show booked and not booked for all training needs for all employees with the delivery method of the training.
Is there a standard report? can we create a query?
    please advise
    BR,
    K.

There is no standard report for this.
You can create a query BUT your requirements won't be met in a single query. Report on employees booked for trainings is easy. Remember though, that ad hoc query only displays EXISTING records not records that are not there e.g. employee who ARE NOT booked to trainings with certain delivery method.
Heres what you do: activate the Rel. BE Type/Att in V_T77KV_2 for Person (or other otypes you want to report on). You do this so that you'll have direct relationship between D and P. Remember that Delivery method is stored in the D object type not in E.
You might have ideas on using E as start object in your infoset. Sure you can display the 'attended by' relationship between E and P but you won't be able to filter by Delivery Method because, like i said, it is stored in the D object type not E. You hear.
    Heres what you do next.
    1. Create a query for the employee population you want to report on e.g. all Permanent employees.
    2. Create infoset with starting object P. Include 034 relationship to D. And all infoytpes of D object.
    3. Create a query for all employee with that population (Permanent Employees) who have relationship P 034 D and then select the Delivery Method as parameter. The search result would show all employees who have attended that training with the delivery method you specified.
    4. You cross-check this list with the result in step 1 to get the list of employees who HAVE NOT attended the training and then wham bam thank you maam. now give me points. lol

  • LSO : need informations about relation between course and training need

    Hi all,
i need some informations about relation between course (object E) and training need (object TN). After some tests, i note in my environment (SAP ECC6) that this objects are not related, there is no occurrence in table HRP1001. So, why ?
    Cheers

    Hi,
tranining needs (TN) are linked to training types (D).
You can also find information in SAP Service Marketplace
http://service.sap.com/hrfr under France -> Media Center -> Training Needs Management

  • Identification of Training need

    Hai Gurus,
Can any body tel me the process of training need identification. And this option in 24 infotype coming empty for me.What i need to configure? Is there same facility in 25 infotype also?
    Withregards
       Kranthi

    Hi Stalin,
To Identify the training needs  the qualifications requirements for the position must be there so that you can compare the qualification of the person  that are stored in the infotype 0024.
This you can do in PD as well. Use transaction Code PPPM  Here u can do the profile matchup and create the qualifications for the positions as well
Qualifications of the person can be compared with positions and this functionality is being available in infotype 0024 and 0025.
    Warm Regards,

  • Training need in Appraisal

    Hi
In addition to giving ratings, the Appraiser has also to write the training needs of the Appraisee.
I used the Free Enhancement "ADD_TRAINING_TYPES". Currently, I am able to create (Add new element) and select the Business Events  only in Planning Status but in other status like review etc..  because once the appraisal document is send to Appraiser, the create icon shown in front of Training needs criteria gets disappeared.
    Pls help
    Regards

In general, the analysis should cover the following:
    - Types of procurement departments, since there might be different departments for different kinds of purchases - perhaps different lines of business altogether.
    - Process of procurement of each
    - Centralized / decentralized processing
    - Treatment of taxes / duties
    - Inventory valuation procedures
    - Quality checks during procurement
    - Long term contracts / agreements
    - Treatment of low value items (with or without purchase order)
    - Approval process (release procedure)
    - Stock transfer process across plants
    - Subcontracting / consignment / pipeline requirements
    - Process for vendor returns
    - Scrap generation / storage
    - Physical inventory process / frequency /writeoffs
    - Treatment of freight and other charges
    - Imports, if a different process is followed.
    - Service procurement process
    - Any special process associated with the company or industry.
Hope this covers most of the business processes related to procurement

    Aroop

No, essiantials is just a two day high level overview. The 5 day training is in-depth training on the SOA suite. I advice to do 5 day training.

  • Sales Training needed badly at Colma Store/ Samsung Dept.

After months of research, I finally decided to purchase a Samsung 32 gb Note 10.1 2014 edition tablet.  Very few Bay Area Best Buy Stores had this product in stock.  Found one at the Colma store in SF.  Drove 1.5 hours one way to make purchase today.  This has to be one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever gone thru. Campbell, your  Samsung Rep was totally overwhelmed by having more than 2 customers in the dept at same time. It felt like a 3 ring circus.  Steve the Microsoft sales rep was a great help as was AT&T Dist Sales Mgr. Andrew, who finally stepped in when I told "Campbell" I could not work with him and his frantic manner.  I was ready to "walk" and would have headed to Frys in Concord to make purchase when Andrew took over.   What should have been a very exciting and fun shopping experience turned into a frustrating nightmare.  Hopefully the Sammy Tablet I purchased will prove to be a more positive experience. Having been in sales and sales management for many years, I confidently recommend that you train your sales staff better before turning them loose on the sales floor.  I knew more about the product as well as Best Buy than Campbell.  I am sure he is a sincere young man, but he desparately needs more training.

    Hi DaleGodfrey,
While it sounds like you had quite the trek to reach our Colma Best Buy store, I’m happy you were able to get your hands on a Samsung Note tablet once you arrived. Like you, I do quite a bit of research before making a larger purchase, and I hope you feel your research pointed you in the right direction; I’d say it did! However, I’m discouraged to hear your visit to our store resulted in a poor experience for you!  We expect our sales associates to be knowledgeable and comfortable on a sales floor. It sounds like this may not have been the case during your visit and I sincerely apologize for this.
As AWBrown alluded to, I’ll be documenting your feedback and casing your concerns here at the corporate campus. The case will be visible to the entire leadership team at the Colma Best Buy location. Feedback such as yours is taken very seriously, and this case will help ensure any training opportunities that exist are recognized.
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us here on the forums. I truly feel that it’s feedback like this that allows us to discover missed opportunities and overall become better as a company. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

  • Oracle 10g training needed !

I am looking for advice to get oracle 10 g training.
Would like to get an idea of what courses/training I need to take to
    be considered an Oracle DBA.
Also what resources: schools, on-line, etc.
I am an experienced data modeler and metadata admiistrator.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Depending on your country you may need to be nothing more than a liar.
In the US anyone that can put the letters "DBA" on their resume is one if some company is fool enough to hire them.
There are few places, if any, where any specific training or skill set is mandated.
Generally speaking though DBAs should have a minimum of three years of hands-on development experience with SQL and PL/SQL and be competent with all topics covered in this document:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14196/toc.htm
with the possible exception of RAC.

  • More training needed

I recently bought a new tablet on Best Buy.com and choose to pick up in store, I came to the Eagan MN Best Buy to pick it up and I wanted to use a $5 coupon and some reward certificates to bring the price down by $20.
I work retail as well and I know what had to happen to accomplish this but it was not my place to tell him how to do his job. I understood that the items had to be returned to apply the coupons and certificates, but what the associate and ASM didn't know was typically a hold is placed on a credit card until the funds are returned, I run across this all the time at work so what I do is rather then return it to the orginal card I put it on a store credit and use it to re ring the sale. I should not have to provide another form of payment to cover a purchase I had made online just to use a coupon and reward certificates to save money on the purchases. I also understand keeping the numbers in line but you cannot provide good customer service if they don't know what there doing and there is not enough associates to help all the customers at the desk especially at the Geek Squad side who need to be trained more but that is an issue for another time.

    Hi meidal,
I'm sorry the associate and manager at our Eagan store didn't ring this through the way you desired in order to manage all the charges; I've been on that end of things myself at other retailers when processing exchanges, and I understand all the timing of the authorizations and refunds. Not a big deal if I have a huge bank account, but generally I don't.
Thanks for sharing your feedback - I'll pass it along.

  • BT Operative's Potential Training needs

I have been on the phone to BT on average 3 or 4 times a day over the last week trying to sort out a home move.  As per BT's website home moving can be a very stressful time and what BT have kindly done is ensure that if your home moving experience is lacking in the stress department they will happily inject some stress into it.  Without boring people with the ins and outs of BTs complete incompetence to arrange my move what I have found over the last few days is that for a telecommunications department their operatives seem to be requiring some training in the "use of a telephone".  I have now been cut off 4 times by BT requiring me to go back through their ridiculous menu system and remain on hold - which I am currently doing just now.  Today they reached a new all time high of doing it while the gentleman was mid sentence.  Having now thought about this I am perhaps being harsh and maybe he dropped dead mid conversation and inadvertently hit the "hang up" button.  I better remember to ask about his well being if I ever back through to them.......  it was easier to get Take That tickets than change my phone.....

    Hi Jenghis,
Thanks for the post and welcome to the community.
I can help sort out your home move.  Drop me an email to the email address in my profile, include the order number that BT should have provided you with, both your old address and new address and the link to this thread.
I will check the order to see what is going on.

  • Digital photography training needed

Here is my question right off the bat - where do you go for digiral photography training?  I need the sort of training that is independent of how to use the camera that I am holding and instead tackles such topics as how to set the apateur and the shutter and pick the right ISO.

Sir, with all due respect... there is no substitute for practice. What the manual tells you is what the camera is doing, or trying to do, when you point it and shoot. This is by no means a minor matter.
That said, the book entitled "Photography"( London, Upton, Kobre, Brill, published by Prentice Hall)  is considered a  general textbook of the field by many and was in its 7th edition when I acquired my copy. It would be a good place to start.
In addition, many photographers find that they are partiularly drawn to the work of one or anther of the famous photographers, such as Ansel Adams or Henri Cartier Bresson, and get inspiration from studying their work. I own a copy of "Ansel Adams Guide: Basic Techniques of Photography, Book 1".
Good luck and enjoy the ride.
