Tranport Management System other tcode than this

Hello ABAPers,
Is there any tcode other than stms to check the transport request is transported to production server?
We're having a hard time in updating the program in the production server.
Actually we had 2 servers...one is the client 400 which is the pre-prod..and the other one is the client 800 which is to be the production client...(live data).They are in the same system.
One scenario is we tried to check the OR program if amount in words is ok...unfortunately when we tried to check it to client 800 the program is not updated unlike to client 400.. I wonder what went wrong?according to our basis guys...they transferred the program to both servers....and by checking it to tcode stms...other than that they dont know weather the program was successfully transferred to production.
Please help.....is there any tcode or program so i can check the update program transferred to production?

Is it possible to connect a DEV System to more than one SAP Solution Manage

Hello,
My system DEV is already connected to a first SAP Solution Manager, I would also like to reconnect the same system so that it communicates and will be monitored by a second SolMan.
Is it possible to do so and the do the operation involve any risks ?

Hello,
This is possible in many scenarios. Often this is done to distribute load, for example on Solution Manager will do the Service Desk Function, one may do ChaRM, one may be doing Monitoring & Reporting, one may be doing Diagnostics.
In these cases a managed ssytem can be connected to many Solution Manager systems.
However as Mateus has pointed out, you cannot connect one managed to two Solution Managers and do SMD on both Solution
Manager systems, but you can have more than one Solution Manager doing Diagnostics.
Even in the case of EWA, while you can connect a Managed system to multiple Solution Manager systems and have then generate a report, one of the Solution Manager systems must be defined as the Master.
So the specific scenario may place some restrictions on connecting a managed system to more than one Solution Manager,
but for most instances it can be done.

Satellite A660 Win7 action centre - Power management system is missing driver

I replaced the battery on my A660-15J Toshiba laptop a few months back with the high capacity battery and now the win 7 action center keeps popping up with the message that I need to download and install the missing power management system driver.
The power supply was not replaced at all, nothing has changed, other than the battery.
The charge light on the laptop functions as it did before the battery change.
It comes on and is red, and after a couple of hours it goes white and the battery level shows it is at 100%
The problem is that windows 7 action center says that it is missing an ACER driver??? -> WTF???
The link that it gives to download it from DOES NOT WORK
It seems strange to me that the link that windows provides its to an acer website, but since manufacturers use parts from others manufacturers it does not surprise me at all.
I just want clarification and confirmation of what I need to do here, and why the toshiba service center is not showing this update???
I read that BIOS update can resolve this issue, however there is NO bios update for my laptop.
I have also contacted MICRO$OFT but I'm still awaiting a reply from them.
I have also read other posts on various toshiba forums that relate to this same problem but they usually say that model is not supported by toshiba in that country....
I clicked the link to this forum directly from the Toshiba Australia website, so please don't tell me that my model is not supported on this Toshiba Europe forum!

Document Management System in Oracle EBS

HI All,
does the EBS offer a document management system where I can store, check in/check out, display... documents with meta data and also original files (like a pdf or word file)?
If something like this exists, what are the corresponding objects and is there also an API for it (pl/sql or even better, web service)?

It is possible to store documents/attachments in Oracle EBS database.

This does not look a real "Document Management System" with meta data, version control, status handling and all that stuff, right?

This should be driven from your internal requirements for the toolset. Not sure you will find anything helpful as nobody will know your requirements. Maybe you could reach out to a Microsoft PPM partner to help you understand your requirements and help build
your RFP. Maybe look for a PPM partner on Microsoft Pin Point and see if they can help you.

Only Endnote is integrated with Pages. How other reference manager systems work, i do not know but that are not integrated with Pages.

Cause
l This issue has been identified as product defect and documented in note 1273028
Resolution
l As mentioned in note 1273028, update to ISAGENT 8.2.4 Patch 1 timestamp: 2012-06-26, please proceed as described below)
1. Enable the Maintenance Mode in the Agent Administration UI (http://solmanserver:port/smd/AgentAdmin)
2. Deploy the file to the Solution Manager JAVA stack using the Software Deployment Manager (SDM)
3. Disable the Maintenance Mode in the Agent Administration
4. Execute again the activity 'Byte Code Adapter Installation' of the step 'Configure Automatically' in the 'Managed System Configuration' for the
affected systems. This activity will deploy the new version of the
Introscope JAVA agent in the managed system servers and reconfigure the JVM parameters to use the new version of Introscope JAVA
Agent;
5. Check from Introscope Agent Admin if "IS Agent State" contains value "Running but needs restart"
6. Restart the affected managed system(s)
Finally Solution is update your SOLMAN system patch ISAGENT 8.2.4.0 from patch 0 to 1 via SDM.

As we are a very big company and working with a high end mobile device management system (Mobile Iron), we cannot use the configurator for iOS devices delivered with Mac OS.
So my question is, whether it is or will be possible to reuse redemption codes also for devices being managed by other MDM systems than Apple configurator.

Why do PDF's offset use decimal system other than Hex?

I found PDF format's byte offset in xref table using decimal system other than hex ,so I feel it which is really special because many file format use hex offset,e.g. tiff,PE,etc.
so I want to know why PDF format's byte offset choose to use decimal system?

Not a known problem. And the "already launched" problem points to an issue with Reader.
Please submit some samples with a bug report for Reader to debug.
Here is what the issue looks like (click to zoom) :
On the left side is the PDF file opened with no other instances of Adobe Reader open. On the right side is what the exact same file looks like when opened after another instance of Reader (displaying another PDF file) was already open.
It's as if the font rendering engine was incapable of multi-threading. Like Reader can only render the font properly if the PDF file in question is the only one it's got in RAM.
Worth noting :
Opening a 2nd PDF file with distorted fonts does not affect the first open PDF. That one continues to display normally. Only every subsequent instance of Reader will have this issue.
Files were saved normally via Photoshop CS5, although this issue has been present for at least 2-3 versions if not more (only started saving PDF's around that time - it's quite possible this was ALWAYS an issue).
This is strictly a SCREEN RENDERING ISSUE. The PDF file prints to paper just fine with uncorrupted fonts no matter how it looks on-screen.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, this happens across multiple computers. Whether I create the PDF via Photoshop CS3 in WinXP or via Photoshop CS5 in Windows 7 on a completely different computer... it will have the same issues. Tried it at work, too -- miles away from home. Same issues. Graphic cards are also from different makes, and display the same issue.
This happens to every single font in the document, regardless of how common or obscure a font it is. In this case, it's Helvetica Neue.
Again, because this important : even if the fonts look distorted on-screen, they will print out on paper just fine. This is a screen rendering issue.
Default PDF settings, no layers, vector data non-rasterized.

Our IT support suggests uninstalling Firefox 7.01. and going back to an earlier version. I would much rather have Mozilla assist us in making Angel work with Firefox. I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
Or get/setup IMAP accounts.

Req. delivery date is taking other date than system date in va01

DEAR SAP GURUS ,
I am facing one porblem . when i am creating a sales order then in sales tab ( the very first tab ) in req. delivery date field it is picking other date than current system date . for example today (10.04.2009)
i am creating a sales order then it is showing 14 .04.2009 . but i want it should show today's date .
what is the problem and how can i resolve it in spro . i don't wish to do it by user exit or badi .
