Transaction CG54 via Enterprise Portals?

Hello:
I'm told that transaction CG54 is available via an Enterprise Portals iView.  Is this the case, and if so is there a specific portals content package that I need to install?  Any guidance you can offer will be greatly appreciated - thank you.

I found what I needed within my own Portal Content.

  • Issue with RRMX Via Enterprise Portal

    Hi,
I need to start BEx Analyzer via Enterprise Portal. I was able to create a Transactional iView with the Transaction (RRMX) and linked this iview to a Role.
    Used Windows GUi to Login.
I am also able to run this iView from Portal but the problem is that every time i click on the Analyzer link, it opens a GUI window in the back on the analyzer.
so if i click on this link 5 times, it opens 5 GUI window in the back and then we have to close each of the windows manually.
Is it possible to supress the GUI window that pops up in the back of Analyzer?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Atul,
Thank you very much for your reply.
With the option you mentioned, i was able to restrict the USER GUI Session to 1 along with the BEX Analyzer. But i do not want even this session to be visible. I only want the Business Explorer ( Only excel ) to be opened and not the Windows GUI session.
The problem is that the Transaction iView first opens a Windows GUI BW Session then Runs the Transaction RRMX, which means it will always have a GUI session opened along with the BEx Analyzer.
My requirement is have the BEx Analyzer with no GUI session.
With the property you mentioned, we could restrict the no of GUI sessions opened to 1, i:e the number of GUI sessions opened is always 1 no matter how many times to click on the Bex Analyzer link on Portal.
Number of sessions = 0 does not work.
I do not want even one GUI session opened when i click on the BEx Transactional iView.
If not possible, Is it possible to close the opened GUI session using some parameters so that i use only see the Bex Analyzer?
Hope i am clear with my requirements.

  • Bbpavlmaint into SRM 7.0 via Enterprise Portal

    Hi experts
i'd like to know if there are some differences for transaction BBPAVLMAINT between SRM 4.0 and SRM 7.0 via EP.
Our buyers (strategic purchaser role) use this transaction due to Evaluate Vendors.
    regards
    andrea

    Ankur,
Once you have correctly integrated to Portal following the SAP Note, you will no longer see the CRM Navigation. They will be Portal Navigation. If you have read and understood the note, it will be clear. On an overview, let me explain the steps involved.
    1. You create a CRM role (based on some job role) say "Sales Rep" and have configured the CRM Web UI for all the navigation and applications. Like Account maintenance, Opportunities, Sales order create etc. etc.
    2. Following the note and running a CRM transaction, you will now "Export" this CRM role to an external file. This file is very similar to a "business package". All the portal roles, pages, iVeiws etc. get created.
    3. You will now "Import" this into your portal. Again follow the notes to know the loaction.
    4. In the portal, you will assign this "portal role" to your users.
When these users log on to portal, they will see Portal Navigation (not the CRM navigation). So, the main point lies in defining the CRM role and get it working.
    Hope you get the point....

  • ECC Transactions in Enterprise Portal

We created a transaction iView that calls a specified transaction with the WebGUI, so users can access ECC transactions from our Enterprise Portal, just as they would if opening the desktop GUI.  The start transaction is the SAP Easy Access menu, the sign-on is done with a logon ticket, and the iView has been added to a role so it appears as a tab in the Portal to users.  We have run across an issue with the SAP Business Workplace in the Portal environment.  When a user goes to the workplace and clicks on any items, such as unread documents, work items, etc. in the overview tree nothing appears in the worklist or the work item preview screen areas.  When accessed through the GUI, the transaction functions correctly and data appears in both the worklist and work item preview.  The issue is only when the Business Workplace is access through our Enterprise Portal.  Has anyone ever encountered this issue before?  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Erin,
I would recommend to look at the following SAP Note first:
Note 314568 - SAP GUI for HTML functionality / Limitations / Sp. Behaviour
We also had some issues with displaying ECC transactions on the portal, but the limitation described in this note helped us to justify the requirements.
    hope this helps.

  • Configure SSO Connection from SAP Enterprise Portal to BOE Server

    Hi Guys,
We recently installed a BOE Server and want to connect it to our SAP Enterprise Portal. What we need is just to display the Crystal Reports via Enterprise Portal. We have set up the following:
    SAP EP with AD Authentication
SAP EP configured with SNC to SAP BI7 system
SAP BOE XI 3.1 - SAP Integration Kit
BOE Server configured with SAP Authentication via SAP BI7 System
We've also set up BOE IK iviews and URL iviews pointing to existing reports in BOE. However, when we access it from EP, it prompts for a username and login to BOE. Is there a way to configure these so that there is no prompt for login to BOE server and SSO is used? Is it also possible to have a service account (e.g. domain/crystal) that will run the reports in BOE everytime a user accesses a report from SAP EP?
Let me know if this is at all possible

    Hi,
You should configure InfoView for SSO first, which required infoview.xml file modification, using windows AD default authentication. If you want to utilize the OpenDocument URL for iView then you also need to configure OpenDocument.xml file for SSO also. The SAP portal must have trust relation with the SAP BW server so the Windows AD token can be authenticate with SAP BW server.
If you want crystal user to run all the report then you will lose data security. It can be done by hard coding user name and password in the report properties and database logon but the SSO capability can be accomplished only by windows AD, SAP or LDAP.
For more details check BOXI Admin guide and SAP Integration Guide.
    Thanks,
    Muhammad

  • Create New Azure Subscription via PowerShell Enterprise Portal

    Hi all,
I've got a scenario where we are working with a customer who has access to Windows Azure. They are looking to programmatically create new Windows Azure subscriptions for teams from Orchestrator runbooks.
I know that you can use the Windows Azure PowerShell Cmdlets to do almost anything imaginable with Windows Azure Portal but there doesn't seem to be anything for PowerShell or automation for the Enterprise Portal where I would go to create these
    new subscriptions.
Is there anything out there for the Enterprise Portal that I've missed?
    Richard Green | MCSA 2012, MCSE 2003, MCTS Desktop Virtualization, VCP5-DV http://richardjgreen.net

Currently there's no API or PowerShell cmdlet that allow us to create subscriptions programmatically. Please understand you can't simply create a subscription whenever you want. You need to bypass some verifications, such as credit card. You should also
be careful when creating subscriptions, as that might affect your billing method. Each subscription will result in a separate bill (although they can use the same credit card, as the case of enterprise agreement). In most cases, you can't let a user to use
PowerShell to create a subscription as he wants. Instead, there should be an approval process. However, you can try to submit a feature suggestion at: http://feedback.windowsazure.com/forums/34192--general-feedback

  • Using the HTML SAP GUI inside the Enterprise Portal?

    Hello everyone
In our company we plan to set up the SAP Enterprise Portal (NetWeaver 7.0). The first application we want to provide inside the portal is the SAP GUI that connects to our SAP ERP 2005 system via single sign on. Therefor two different approaches exist:
1: Using the standard SAP GUI inside a portal iView. In this case every client pc needs the SAP GUI installed.
2: Using the HTML SAP GUI. In this case we have to set up the integrated ITS in our SAP ERP system.
Now I have some questions about the second approach. Is the functionality of the HTML GUI equal to the functionality of the standard GUI? If not, what are the restrictions? How high is the additional load on the network and SAP ERP system caused by the HTML GUI? Would you recommend this approach for a system with more than thousand SAP users?

    Hi Marc,
At least if you consider using webgui, you should test the transactions properly as there are some issues for example with scandinavian characters and lines visible in lists of search helps.
Also you might want to consider the limitations of the screen resolutions and space which the portal framwork already takes from the gui. This of course is a topic for both HTML/SAP GUI's.
    Kind regards,
    Ville

  • Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal

    Hi,
We are implementing EP for ECC 5.0 and we have to web enable some FI transactions like FB50/fb60 etc. We want to use standard business package for this. The only business package that caters this requirement is "Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal 60.1". When i checked the data source for this business package, the specification is for "SAP R/3 4.6B and above". Does this work for ECC 5.0 as well? In general does the R/3 specific business packages work for ECC versions? Please let me know. Thanks for the help.  I promise rewards.

  • BW Workbook as an iView in the Enterprise Portal

I keeping getting a dialog box asking to select the appropriate program to open the workbook. When I select .xls it opens, and it shows the parameters I entered and not the workbook. The customer is on NW04 Stack 11.
I followed ever step on help.sap.com site as listed below.
BW workbooks are MS Excel workbooks with one or more embedded BW queries. You are able to display these workbooks in the Enterprise Portal as iViews.
    Features
Workbooks are displayed in a separate MS Excel window. Opening workbooks within the Web browser window is not possible for technical reasons.
BW workbooks require the BEx Analyzer, which requires a local installation of the SAP GUI for Windows with the BW front end.
SAP recommends that you use BEx Web applications in the Enterprise Portal that run completely in the Web browser.
You can use the function Export as Excel 2000 File from the BW Web application context menu as an alternative to using a local installation of the BW front end if you require Excel functions. See Context Menu Functions  and Exporting as a CSV File/Excel 2000 File.
An iView with a workbook can be generated using the Portal Content Studio or Role Upload. For more information, see Generating Content from SAP BW for the Enterprise Portal.
The iViews are of type SAP Transaction iView and have the code link com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.Transaction.
The most important properties are System, Transaction (TCODE) and ApplicationParameter.
·The System property contains the alias on the BW system (see Creating BW Systems in the  Portal).
·The transaction code for every workbook is RRMXP.
·The value WBID= is in the ApplicationParameter property.
You can determine the workbook ID with the BEx Analyzer:
    a. Open the desired workbook.
    b. In the BEx toolbar, choose ® OLAP Functions for Active Cells ® Properties. The Information tab page contains the Workbook ID (Server).
Note that with BW workbooks as an iView, the AutoStart property contains the value True (process first screen) and the GuiType property contains the value WinGui.
Anyone have a solution for this to work?
    Thanks,
    -Eli

    Dear Rasmesh,
Please try to do this suggestion:
    3. How can I use SAP Application Integrator to access SAP transactions?
There are two different ways to use the SAP Application Integrator transaction iView. In both cases please use a URL like 'irj://com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.Transaction' followed by your custom parameters like '?System=DEV&TCode=SE38&GuiType=WinGui &WinGui_Type=Shortcut&OkCode=SHOP'.
    The parameters are:
    System [mandatory]
    TCode [mandatory]
    GuiType (=WinGui / WebGui / JavaGui) [mandatory]
WinGui_Type (=Shortcut ..if you want to launch the GUI in a new window)
OkCode (The OkCode that you would like to be executed after the transcation is called by SAP GUI.)
ApplicationParameter (Pass these values to your screen fields which needs to be be separated by
    AutoStart (true / false)
    UseSPO1 (true / false)
For a complete list of parameters please consult http://help.sap.com.

  • SSO (single sign on) on NetWeaver 7.0 Enterprise Portal based on spnego with Microsoft Active Directory

    Hi,
we are using SAP Netweaver Enterprise Portal 7.0 (SP25) based on Windows 2008 R2/Oracle 11g.
When we setup the Portal, we used the UME of the ECC - ABAP.
The portal is used internally only.
Now we want to provide SSO.
User authenticate against Windows Active Directory (Windows 2003).
We thought SSO via spnego would be the best solution.
Any better alternates, we should use?
We are following the SAP documentation:
    SAP-Bibliothek - Benutzerauthentifizierung und Single Sign-On
We still want to create users in ABAP and assign them the portal roles. LDAP access should only have read access, to verify the security token from Active Directory.
When we setup the portal from scratch using ABAP as its UME, in the system configuration, LDAP can't be selected/add as data source.
In case we understand the documentation correctly, we would now need to add LDAP via the configtool for read access.
What is not clear to us, when we active now LDAP via config tool, if we would now lose the ABAP connection.
Is there a tutorial for SSO Netweaver 7.0 EP, like for EP 7.3, available?
In 7.3 SSO is pretty simple to get it running, thanks to the many tutorials here and on the internet.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards
    Carlos Behlau

    Hi,
I was able to generate the key via ktab program.
But when I am enable SSO, nothing is happening when I try to log-on via SSO to the portal.
I installed WebDiag tool on the portal server and ran trace.
The users are located in domain: company.com of activate directory.
The Java AS are located in domain: sap.company.com of activate directory.
The sap.company.com domain acts as child of company.com.
When I check the WebDiag trace, I see for the SPNegoLoginModule - the entry "... no key (etype: 23) for realm sap.company.com available ..."
I would except company.com as realm key, as the keytabs have been generated on the domain controller of company.com.
Is it possible to get SSO with child domain running?
Based on the statement of the network folks, child and father domain having a trust.
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards

  • Integration of SAP e-Recruiting 6.0 in Enterprise Portal 7

    Hi,
I'm trying to integrate e-Recruiting functionalities into our Portal.
    The current situation:
SAP e-Recruiting 6.0 is set up (integrated on ECC 6.0), and works fine when using the BSP-front-end.
De ESS/MSS Business Packages are installed on the portal.
The system alias for e-recruiting is created (and tested).
My test user has the ESS Portal role, and the role "SAP_RCF_INTERNAL_CANDIDATE" in the backend system.
    The problem:
When I log in with my test user, and go to "ESS" => "Career and Job". I have several options under "Job", being:
       - Applications
       - Apply Directly
       - Favorites
       - Search for Jobs
All of these are related/connected to the e-recruiting module. All of these functionalities work fine, when log in to the e-recruiting BSP's directly. But when I click on them via the Portal, I get the message "An internal error occurred. Please try again later."
When I go to transaction "SLG1" for a detailed error log, I see "The system accesses Customizing table T77RCF_sp_ID using parameters [0000]. There are no entries in the table for this."
When I use the BSP-pages, I can set the parameter RCFSPID via a parameter in the URL (e.g. "application.do?BspClient=800&BspLanguage=EN&rcfSpId=0001"). And via this parameter, the system knows which recruiting-role I have (e.g. 0001 = Internal candidate and 0002 = External candidate). But this value is not transmitted to the BSP pages when I access them via the Portal.
What I tried was editing the iview "Career and Job Services". I set the value "Parameters forwarded to BSP" to "rcfspid=0001". But that was not the solution.
    So finally my question:
Where do you set this parameter?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Other applications are fine (although the Portal is not 100% set up yet). I think this is related to the link between the portal and the e-recruiting module.

  • Portal Component receives GET from other app out of the Enterprise Portal?

    Hello.
I want to design a portal component, to which i can send GET-Parameters via URL.
The sending application runs out of the enterprise Portal and has a simple HTML-form (The portal component generates HTML and JAVA-Script for a Flex Application in the Enterprise Portal which should point to a specific document named in the params. The params will be written into the generated HTML document after calling).
Is this possible without authetification and how would the URL looks like, which is used to call the enterprise portal?

    Hi Björn,
you can access request parameters with the following code in the standard methods of your Portal Component:
              // IPortalComponentRequest request;
              request.getServletRequest().getParameter("ParamName");
The direct URL of your Portal Component without a specific iView is:
    http://
If your component should be directly accessable without authentication you must add the following property in your portalapp.xml in the the component-profile section:
          <component-profile>
            <property name="AuthScheme" value="anonymous"></property>
          </component-profile>
