Transaction Code for Query

Hi,
I have a QUERY name:ztest,Its infoset title is ztest1 and i want the transaction code as ZQR to be assigned to it.Please let me know the steps for the same.I have to use TCODE SQ01 for it??
Please guide me with this doubt.

Create a transaction calling transaction START_REPORT with the following parameters/attributes filled :
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE= AQ "parameter indicating Abap Query
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT= 'ZGRP' "Query User group
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT= 'ZNAME' "Query name
After executing the query Goto SE38,there we find the program name of the query.Assign a tcode to it or thru SE93.
OR
Run the query .Goto tcode SE38 - copy the program name.
Open tcode se93 .Enter tcode .
Give short description
Select second radio button (Program and selection screen)
Enter program name(which is copied thru SE38).
Save .

Error on Transaction Code for Query

I have a problem with a transaction for query, I hope that you can help me.
On transaction SE93 I create transaction ZRH11,
I choose transaction with parameters.
On Transaction field the value is START_REPORT
The checkbox skip initial screen is marked
The checkbox for SAP GUI for html, java and windows are marked
Parameter D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = 'AQ'.
Parameter D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = 'RHCYA' is the users group this group is global
Parameter D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = 'ZIT0015' is the query
Parameter D_SREPOVARI-VARIANT = 'STANDARD'
R/3 says that the transaction is consistent, but at the time that I want to run send the message "User group RHCYA has not yet been created"
The user group is created, what's wrong???

Hi Omar,
Please try to Use the User group as "RHCYA1". For some reason, it doesn't take the user group as it is and we need to append some character to the user group at the end. Not sure why it does so. Please use RHCYA1 and see if it works. Hope this helps. Thanks

Transaction code for SAP query reports

Hi All,
I am trying to create transaction code for sap query report but couldn't go further.
1) Created User group in SQ03
2) Created infoset in SQ03 and assigned that to the user group
3) Created query in SQ01 using the infoset.
I executed the report in SQ01 and it is working fine.
Now I try to create a transaction code in SE93 using the steps mentioned in the following link:
Assign transaction code to SAP Query (created via SQ01)
But when try to execute the report using the transaction code, it is giving error message 'User group xxxxxx is not yet created'
Could any one advice me if I miss something? Or please help me to create this transaction code and transport to production?

based on the thread you've already mentioned:
In SE93, Create a Paramter Transaction
-> Transaction = Start_report
-> In default values, give the below details:
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE = AQ
D_SREPOVARI-EXTDREPORT = Name of the Query
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT = User Group
So check if the user group is typed correct in SE93 and check also if the user group exits in the system where you are trying to run the transaction.

               In SQ01,
go to menu path
               Query--->morefunctions -
>Display report name.
Copy this program name. then
GotoSE93 .enter a tcode name .press create.
select program and selection screen option .
enter the Program name.

THERE IS NO TCODE FOR QUERY DESIGNER. BUT THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE..
OPEN BEX ANALYSER THROUGH RRMX
OPEN A QUERY
CLICK ON TOOLS-> EDIT QUERY
THIS OPENS QUERY DESIGNER AND YOU CAN USE IT NORMALLY..

Hi Prashant,
We don't have any Transaction Codes for these.
Since these are installed along with the SAPLOGON BI components, it cannot be called using a standard transaction.
You have to use only .
Goto Start -> Programs -> Business Explorer -> Web Application Designer/Report Designer/Query Designer.

Transaction code for Table Maitainence for table

Hi all,
i have created Table Maintainece for Table and also i need to create transaction code
for table maintainence.
there when i create transaction code with TRANSACTION with PARAMETERS and SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
I can see all the records in the table into table Maintainence.
Is ther is any possibility like i can restrict records on the key fields (like selection screen).
Will anybody let me know how to goahead with this requirement.

You can build a small report that call the maintenance view. In the report, convert the SELECT-OPTIONS input to the [DBA_SELLIST|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=dba_sellist&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] parameter of function module [VIEW_MAINTENANCE_CALL|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=view_maintenance_call&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue].
If you have "pertinent" key to filter the data, you may define these as sub-key in a mainetance view, those fields will be asked for when entering the maintanance dialog. Or you can build a [view cluster|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=se55&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] using these sub-set keys.

But When I ran this independently it's not working like:( /arba/ond_proc not working independently.)

Hello
when you excecute the query in right han side corner you can get the program name
go to se80 select program & type this name and then you can create a tcode for that prog in SE80
reward points if helpful.
the prog name will be something like : AQZZ/SAPQUERY/* " ur query name
you can search for the name also in this manner

I assume that you are using either Event Management to collect the load/unload events OR your manually entering this data onto the Freight Unit?
If the answer to the above information is correct, then it would depend where you are storing this data. Are you adding the data to the Freight Orders or to the Freight Units? If you are using FOs then some of the fields might be present on the FO work list and you could create a query/view there to view this data. There is also a work list on the FWO side but it would only contain a summary of the FUs. That is due to the one to many relationship between FWOs and FUs.
You might be better off building an ALV report to gather the fields that you need. Alternatively this could be done in SQVI but it is more limited.
An alternative to all of this if your using Event Management, is that you could produce a report in EM to give you this information. This however would only be possible if you are sharing all of the info that you need in the report with EM.

Hi Srikanth,
You can try below options.
1- VA05N - This can be run for multiple sold to party & multiple material, etc which was not in VA05. But this doesn't have all columns in VA05 report.
2 - You can check the sales order tables from transaction SE11 or SE16N
Try with below tables for your requirement.
Sales order Header data - VBAK
Sales order Item data - VBAP
Schedule Line Data - VBEP
Business data - VBKD
Status header - VBUK
Status items - VBUP

How to create Transaction code for Table Maintanance generator.?

I have created a Z Table. and I maintained the Table maintenance generator for the same. Now, my requirement is.. I have to create Transaction code for maintain and Display of this Z table.
Can someone help me how to create the transaction code for Maintain and Display of the table. I know that we have to create a Transaction code for 'SM30'. Can someone tell me the steps to do the same. When I goto SE93 and say CREATE transaction, I get 5 options, Which one to select and what are the details should I provide in the subsequent screens.

2. Select ' Transaction with parameters'.
3. Then Transaction 'SM30' with click on skip initial screen
      VIEWNAME : XXX9tABLE NAME)
      UPDATE   : X
4. Maintain the Table maintenance generator
Authorization group : &NC&
Authorization object :
Function group : name(xxx)
Maintenance Screens :
Maintenance type : One step
Maint Screen No : Overview screen (2)

How to Create Transaction code for a Report

I created some reports and I wants those reports
should be placed in the SAP Menu(initial screen) not
in the User menu in the form of Transaction codes.
I would really appreciate if any one can please send the process to create transaction codes for the User reports/Report groups in R/3 and how to add those created Transaction codes to the SAP MENU.

Try to insert it into the main menu if you must change S000 (there is a function module for everything)? Perhaps SAP protects their menu trees from foreign subnodes in SE43?
Also note that for report transactions you do not need to give the user transaction code start_report. If you do, then they could enter it directly and potentially start many other reports too. The system will call start_report for submitting the report internally without authorizations for it required (unless start_report is maintained in SE97).
Regarding DE, this also confuses me sometimes and I noticed that it generally indicates that I am doing something which has an implication for a SAP standard object. Try either hitting the enter button to see what the next screen is, or, choose original language in the previous screen, or, logon in sy-langu = DE and (remember the path if you dont speak German) change it, or, follow JCs advice to create your own menu.

Procedure to create a TCODE for ZTABLE:
Create a table maintainance/View for the Z* Table.
Once you create the view goto SE93>Select Parameter transaction and give the short desc.>
Give the transaction as SM30(Skip the first screen-optional)>Check all check boxes under GUI support>In the default values(grid)section first row give the VIEWNAME as you created initially and the second row UPDATE as X.

Select the parameter transaction as a radio button.

no need to give any program name. Instead you have to give the transaction code name as SM30.

i have doubt, how to create transaction code for maintenance view. I created view for tranperant table and now i want to create transaction code for the view.
i tried and i donot know the screen number and program name and where can i give the view name.

Hi Elam,
You need to create a "Parameter Transaction".
What this means is that you will have a transaction (let's call it "ZMAINT") which calls "SM30" and passes in your table name.
Go to transaction SE93 and enter your new transaction code. Enter in the Tcode description and choose "Transaction with Parameters" (it shouldbe the last radio button).
Enter in the default transaction "SM30" and tick the "Skip Initial Screen" check box. Hit Enter.
Now scroll to the bottom of the screen and you will see a Table Control where you will need to enter in the values to the SM30 selection screen.
Because you hit ENTER, the program will have loaded in the Selection Screen parameters into it's memory. Hit the drop down for "Name of Screen Field" and select "VIEWNAME" and then enter in your Z Table in the "Value" column.
Now go to the next line and hit the drop down and select "UPDATE" in the "Name of Screen Field". Enter in a "X" in the value column.
Now save the transaction and there you have it.
