Transaction luanch in WinGui

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to configure transaction launcher for transaction VA11 (ZDD_VA11).. I've done all the necessary settings but when I try to test it via Web client, it  open up VA11 transaction in Popup Window within the browser. I received help before to setup that popup.
Now I want that popup Window (VA11) transaction to open without Web Browser.. which means open VA11 transaction in native SAP (WinGui mode)....
is there any extra settings or program has to be run?
Thanks,
KP

Hi KP,
you should be able to use my [ZAPP_INTEGRATOR|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/ZAPP_INTEGRATOR] Project to solve this problem. There is also a [commercial solution|http://www.innovate-gmbh.de/150-0-innovate-Starter-SAP-GUI-CRM-Web-UI-CRM-7-0-en.html] from [innovate Software GmbH|http://www.innovate-gmbh.de/].

  • Restricting WEBGUI Transactions to WINGUI Priority

    Hi There,
Is there a way of ensuring that for specific transactions that only WINGUI transactions are triggered instead of WEBGUI?
We have managed to make specific links call WINGUI only transactions but obviously if we are on the webgui we want to force specific transactions to be opened in WINGUI format
    All ideas appreciated
    Cheers
    Steve

Klaus, thanks, this is very helpful
For example, if there were only 3 transactions in SAP, sm50, sm51 and db02 and I wanted to be able to run sm50 and sm51 from the webgui but not db02, I would have to create 2 services with parameters  as per below
    Service 1
    ~WEBGUI 1
    ~TRANSACTION sm50
    ~THEME sl
    ~SINGLESTRANSACTION 1
    Service 2
    ~WEBGUI 1
    ~TRANSACTION sm51
    ~THEME sl
    ~SINGLESTRANSACTION 1
Is this correct? Could you explain how setting this parameters will prevent webgui from running db02?
    Many thanks

  • Tx.ssd - WinGui transaction iView

    Hi,
I have created a system, though not sure it has been completely successful. The connection-test gives a green light, but the transaction test found at System Administration/SAP Application/SAP Transaction (with proper data filled in) returns a dialog box asking me to download a file called tx.ssd. Unfortunately, downloading it does not help.
The same box appears when I try to preview an SAP transaction iView with WinGui (which is what I am trying to do).
The portal version is 6.0 SP 14. Sap WinGui is installed on the client accessing and browsing the portal, and the PCD path is less than 255 characters.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
Suggestions will be highly appreciated, and solutions highly awarded!
    Regards,
    Stina.

    HI Stina
Since the SAP GUI is not installed on server so u r unable to see the iview created with wingui
and u got message file download tx.ssd (open save)
wingui is installed on client machine so u r able to see the iview
if u have ITS installed than creat a webgui iview
and also configure ITS in Portal system

  • Purchasing Data button missing in transaction BP on SRM 5

Hi. We just upgraded to SRM 5 and have just noticed the "Purchasing Data" button has gone from transaction BP, so we can not go to partner role Vendor and see the purchasing data.
We know we can get the same info from BBPMAININT, but does anyone know why the button has gone?
Does anyone else using SRM 5 have the button available?
Thanks a lot for your help.

  • RFC destination Could not be SPecified for Logical System

    Hello there
i am traying to costomize Transaction Luancher for some of the report which is been devloped in ECC (wich is ARD 100)
when  on Transaction launcher Wizard--> techincal
i am  having a  logical system as ARD100(my r.3 system where report is devloped and which is connected to CRM )
while chosing the OBJ.TYpe :   and Method:
it says shows three erroe :
    1) RFC destination could not be specified  for the logical system ARD100
    2) Object type and Method is not available
i have checked RFC  , in  SM59 entriesu2026u2026 There is an RFC named ARD100 and the connection test works. I also did an authorization test and it also works. I also checked to make sure the logical system name ARD100 exists
could you please help me to resolved the same
    Regards
    Rajiv

    Hi Rajeev,
In a system landscape it's important and necessary to use the logical system names consistently throughout all systems!
Therefore please make sure, that you always use the same name for a logical system in all systems (CRM and R/3 systems).
The following steps are required before a RFC call is made from the CRM system to the R/3 system :
o  Use transaction SM59 to create an RFC destinations for the remote
           system.
o  Use transaction BD54 to create the logical system.
o  Use transaction BD97 to link the RFC destination created in SM59
with the logical system created in BD54.
    I hope this helps.

  • Portal URL and DynamicParameters

    Hello community...
I've a problem opening a transaction in a "wingui" which needs to have checked a checkbox on the dynpro to proceed. My URL looks like follows...
    '/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.Transaction?System=' & STORE@systemalias & '&TCode=IH01&GuiType=' & STORE@guitype & '&DynamicParameter=DY_TPLNR%3D' & STORE@TPLNR & '&DY_EQUBI%3D' & '1' & '&OkCode=ONLI'
The transaction I'd like to call is the IH01 (functional location structure). The field Dy_TPLNR is filled correctly. But I need to set the checkbox (built in equipments) as checked via the url.  Is that possible?
I already tried to set it via the Dynamic parameter with DY_EQUBI %3D 1, checked and true, but it doesn't work.
    Any ideas?
    Greets,
    Jochen

    Hi Jochen,
The value to set a check box is 'X'. Try passing this value to the check box field to set.

  • Is there a package for installing the FlexNet service only?

    Hi,
we are trying to virtualize Acrobat Pro 9 using Softgrid/App-V. Unfortunately the FlexNet service does not support virtualization. According to the virtualization community a possible workaround would be a local installation of the FlexNet service on our terminal servers.
To do that I need an installation package for the FlexNet service only or command line parameters for installing the service from the normal package without installing acrobat.
Is such a package or command available somewhere?
    Thanks!

There is no standard iView for ME53N, but you can create you own iView which will point to any SAP Transaction in either WinGui or WebGui Mode and assign it to end users.
Refer to the following standard SAP help:

  • Iviews created upon role upload

    Hi all,
When i import the r/3 roles into portal some default iviews are created, but certain properties of Iviews are different for example "SAP GUI" it comes a "web gui" though i need to have "WinGui" . does any body knows how to change this..coz i cannot keep changing in all the iviews
    Thanks
    Krishna

    Hi Krishna,
sorry for the late reply. I was out of office.
As far as I know there is no way to change the SAP Transaction type to WinGUI. But to be absolutely shure from your side, you could read the documentation.
According to your last post: You can of course change the property directly in the portalapp.xml. But the more correct way is to do it in the Portal Content area and edit the following iView: pcd:portal_content/com.sap.portal.migrated/ep_5.0/templates/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.bwc.Transaction
There you can change the property (as mentioned above in one of my last posts) and you have to define this property as "FINAL". That's very important. But currently I see that it is not possible to set a property as final with the Property Editor in the portal. I have to contact the responsible developer in Israel, but they are out of office today. I will contact you again.
Of course, the iViews that were created during the role upload process have webGui defined. But if you launch them, they will be launched using the ..appintegrator.sap.bwc.Transaction launcher iView and this iView has the final property "WinGUI" defined, which is used.

  • Parameters with EPCM.doNavigate

    Hi ,
I want to call transaction and pass 2 parameters ,  one of them is to execute the screen ( like skip first screen in abap , or iview property ...show first page )..
The first parameter passed but the execute parameter not working....
    The code :
    EPCM.doNavigate( 'ROLES://portal_content/xxx/iview?DynamicParameter=PRSNUM-LOW%3D"resnum'%26<b>okcode%3donli'</b>, 1)
    I try also ... sy-ucomm%3donli
How to pass this parameter to make the screen execute ????
    Thanks

    Hi Faniel,
You can use the following solutins:
    1) Crate another transaction iview and define the ok code, then, navigate to it.
    2) Use Application Integrator
    For example:
    document.location.href('/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.
    Transaction?System=<system name>&TCode=<Transaction
    code>&GuiType=WinGui&AutoStart=true&OkCode=<ok
    code>&DynamicParameter=<param name>%3D<param value>')
    res.write("document.location.href
    ('/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.
    Transaction?
    System=SAP_R3&TCode=ME9F&GuiType=WinGui&AutoStart=true&OkCode=ONLI&
    DynamicParameter=%3D123456');");
    Where:
    SAP_R3 is your backend system
    ME9F is the transaction
    OkCode is ONLI
    Parameter name is S_EBELN-LOW
    Parameter value is 123456
res in the response component in your dynpage

  • Error:System rejects all logons using SSO tickets:RRMX

    Hi,
I have created a System in my portal which connects to the BW system.I am able to execute the transaction RSA1 by creating a transaction iview which connects to the system created above but when i try to execute RRMX in a transaction iview i get an error displaying a message : System rejects all logons using SSO tickets.
    The transaction iview uses WinGUI.
Please let me know if anyone has the solution for this.
    ThanksInAdvance,
    Varma.

    Hi Rajendra,
I guess you need rrmx access to change the queries ? i that is the case did you guys try role "com.sap.ip.bi.business_explorer_showcase" which has Bex web analyzer, where in you can create or modify queries in Java built in iviews. Have a look at that and hope it might be useful.

  • URL format to call transaction using WinGUI

    Hello,
We would like to display SAP transactions in the portal, however they are from the SAP APO sytem and require the the WinGUI setting as they contain graphics that the ITS cannot interpret. WinGUI does not use the ITS. An iView or External Service can be created to display the required transactions using the SAPApplication.Transaction but as the screens are made up of several windows we would like them to open up full screen. The standard iView can open in a new screen but the window opens in a different place depending on the user's internet settings. To solve this a java iView could be written to dictate the starting point and size of the window but I am having trouble with the URL of the transaction. Using WebGUI the following format can be used to call a transaction:
    <System.Access.ITS.Protocol>://<System.Access.ITS.HostName><System.Access.ITS.Path>/webgui/!?transaction=<SAP_Dynp_AutoStart%><SAP_TCode>%20<SAP_Dynp_Params%>&client=<System.Client>&language=<Request.Language>&accessibility=<User.Accessibility>
Does anyone know the format of the URL to call a transaction using wingui (it doesn't work to substitute wingui for webgui in the format above)?
    Thanks for your help,
    Katie

    HI,
You need to write the codition like below,
    If Message = 'Successful'
    If Button = 'SUBMIT'
       Call Transaction 'ZABC'.
    Endif.
    Endif.

  • Transaction iView (WinGUI): "Create Session" opens blank GUI

    Hi All,
we are using a SAP Transaction iView which displays the WinGUI in the portal and directly opens a SAP transaction.
The users are used to getting a new session with an already opened navigation tree (SMEN) by clicking "System --> Create Session". However, if the WinGUI is opened in the portal via a Transaction iView, "System --> Create Session" opens a blank GUI session where the users have to manually execute "SMEN" to get to the tree.
Is there any way to get the usual "Create Session" behavior as if the WinGUI were launched outside the portal and the transaction were entered manually?
    Thanks,
    Jens

    Hi,
first of all: Apologies... I had found another thread before which described the procedure you were hinting at (manipulating the PAR file) and I even had already downloaded the file from the PCD. But the user in the thread I found described another problem (the menu entry "Create Session" was missing altogether) so I thought this wouldn't solve my problem since we weren't missing this menu entry.
But you are right: I changed the parameters, deployed the PAR and restarted the portal - the problem is solved! New sessions now automatically show SMEN.
    Thanks a lot!
    Jens

  • SAP Transaction via WinGUI

    Hi,
we have got the following issues with the build in SAP Transaction iView:
If you create a SAP Transaction iView using the iView Wizard the WinGUI is displayed within the portal frameset. The "Create a new session" button is disabled.
    - Is it possible to display the WinGUI as common as a separate window?
    - Is it possible to enable the "Create a new session" button?
    Best Regards
    Mike

    Hi,
You can display the Page in another Window by setting "Launch in New Window" to the value 'Display in Separated Window' but <b>it will still be embedded in a browser window</b> !
As far as I know, even doing this, it won't enable the "Create a new session" button.
What you would need is to launch the SAP GUI rich client from the Portal in a separated process... Does someone know how to do that out there ?
    Best regards,
    Guillaume
