Transaction MMCL does not work in ECC 6.0 system

Hello All,
I am trying to run transaction MMCL in ECC 6.0 system. It does not run. Has SAP obsoleted this transaction and come up with a new one. Basically I want to track inventory based on a Batch Characteristic value.

Hello Sachin,
in order to use the transaction MMCL, the object DIMP has to be activated.
at first, please check with the transaction swf5 or SFW_BROWSER, whether the object DIMP is activated.

Why should Apple fix the problem? Maybe you should consider NOT upgrading if an expensive piece of (obsolete) software you're running won't work with it...

BATCH-INPUT On transaction VT02 does not work.

I have written BATCH-INPUT on transaction VT02. I try to remove delivery from transportation. But for me does not work BATCH-INPUT because function of "Positioning" does not work in BATCH-INPUT. Prompt please. How I can remove delivery from transportation in my program using functionality of transaction VT02?

SO_OBJECT_SEND does not work after ECC upgrade

Hi Gurus,
I find a problem after ECC upgrade with SO_OBJECT_SEND.
This was used in a zprog and was wroking fine in 4.6 C.
When this prog is executed it sends mails to the users thru SOST/SCOT.
But in ECC , upon execution I did not see the mails in SOST.
The prog passes the User id ( type B) to the receivers table.The mail
is sent to Business workplace but not to SOST/SCOT.
Pls help gurus.

USB Port does not work W510

Hello all,
I am writing to you hoping that one of you may have an idea what's wrong with my beloved w510.
A few hours ago the usb port (on the back on the right side) where I plugged in my external mouse stopped working.
In the Lenovo part list it is referred to as "usb Sub card yellow".
It just does not recognize a mouse nor any usb stick or external drive. I have already reinstalled the usb controller
but it didn't make any difference. (I think the driver is only for the usb 3 hub on the left side of the notebook)
when I plug in the external drive the lights of the drive start "flashing" same for the usb stick, but they are not recognized as drives..Same for the mouse. The lights go on, but nothing else works.
Probably its all my fault, but I don't know what else I can try! Please excuse my bad English...!

I have a reproducible test for this issue on my W510.
1) Plug in a usb mouse into the rear usb port and ensure the mouse is working.
2) Hybernate the system.
3) Resume the system.
4) Confirmed the mouse does not work.
5) Disconnect and attach the mouse to one of the left usb ports and confirm the mouse works.
6) Disconnect and attach to the rear usb port and confirm the mouse does NOT work.
7) Restart the system and confirm the mouse still does NOT work.
8) Shut down the computer (a full shutdown, not standby or hybernate).
9) Power the system back on.
10) Confirm the mouse is now working in the rear port.
I can do these steps over and over with the same results regardless of whether the AC adapter is plugged in or not. It appears that the data connection does not work after the system is resumed from a sleeping state. I have the latest UltraNav driver and utility and the latest power management updates.
Oh, and one more test. Hybernate the system with nothing plugged in, then plug in a mouse into the rear usb port when the system is presently hybernated and then power the system back on. The mouse will not work and rebooting doesn't correct it. Only a full shutdown fixes it.

Have lots of issues with Fords MySync and here's some info that might help....
Using ford sync interface, goto the phone section, then settings, and look if your iPhones name is listed, if so select the phone name thru sync interface and remove/delete it from the sync list, then go thru the Bluetooth pairing process again.
If that doesn't work, do the same on the iPhone, select ford sync entry in Bluetooth and remove sync or forget this device on the iPhone and then go thru Bluetooth pairing again.
If that doesn't work Power off iphone ( not sleep) hold power button till you see red slider to power off. Then restart iphone, try pairing up again.
If that doesn't work go back to MySync and goto phone settings and use the up-down slider till you see sync master reset. Confirm then go thru BT pairing again.
If that doesn't work there is a fuse for the my sync system. Fuse box is usually behind kick panel of front passenger seat side for the Mustang #3, its behind a paper black cover. Remove fuse for 5-30 secs then replace.
Lastly, make sure your MySync Firmware is the latest vers. Mines 4.0.2 goto fords MySync support page to check

A google search might help for your model and year if not a newer mustang and you couldn't get to ford.

Equipmen dismantle, change plant, install does not work

Hello experts,
I have developed a function module which should execute the following steps:
- dismantle an equipment from a functional location
- change the plant of the equipment
- install the equipment into a new functional location
I therefor tried to use these three existing function modules:
- Dismantle -> EQUIPMENT_DISMANTLE
- Change Plant -> BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE
- Install -> EQUIPMENT_INSTALL
Now the problem occurs that the call of the BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE does not execute a commit so the changes are not directly written to the database and the following call of EQUIPMENT_INSTALL is not able to install the equipment into the new functional location.
I tried to execute a BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT after the BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE but still it does not work. In my dev system I can insert a "WAIT UP TO 1 SECONDS." call which work but this does not work in the testing env. Also this is a very bad approach.
The curious thing is that everytime I debug my FM everything is working fine. So I bet there is a problem in the direct following call after the BAPI_EQUI_CHANGE and EQIPMENT_INSTALL.

This code checks if the respective entry in the db is already written and if not retry to read it with a delay of 2 seconds.
Looks a little bit ugly but does the job.
If anyone could get me to a "better" solution I would be happy to hear!

New created Shortcuts does not working

I tried to create a Shortcut for open Terminal in Finder so I turned it on in System preferences -> Keyboard.......
But I does not working ! I tried reboot system, delete com.apple.symbolichotkey.plist from user/Library/Preferences folder and still nothing.
I have any services in finder too.
Please, help.

Are you using the default "Launch Terminal" service (or one of the others), or did you create your own?
If your own, how did you make the service?

F1 help does not work in transaction SE80

Hi Experts!
A strange error occurred in our ECC 6.0 SR3 system (Windows 2003 SE 64 bit based, MaxDB 7.6.03.009). F1 help does not work in transaction SE80. Either nothing is shown when a keyword as SELECT is marked and F1 key is pressed, or a strange popup appears with title u201CABAP Keyword Documentationu201D and root u201CHit List of Index Searchu201D - [screenshot|http://i43.tinypic.com/aox7d.jpg]. No matter what I choose in the tree it always closes, no help is displayed and SAP GUI returns in the main screen in transaction SE80.
I found this thread [Re: SAP F1 Help and SE80 issue|Re: SAP F1 Help and SE80 issue] but it did not help me. This is my system information:

As it is seen from my previous post SAP GUI version is 7.10 SP 12. I downloaded the last SP 13 and installed it. Now SAP GUI information looks like this:

The problem is not resolved.
This happens from different workstations with different versions and sub-versions of SAP GUI, so the problem is not caused from the GUI I think. It happens using different logon users and in all SAP system cliens.
Any other suggestions?

Sending by mail an Invoice with VF02 does not work

Hi guys,
When using VF02 to send by mail an invoce form, the functional consultant is in trouble since it does not work. I am ABAP consultant, and before starting to debug the huge amount of lines of code behind this transaction, I think there might be a more straight solution. When setting the invoice number and entering this transaction, we accessed Goto->Header->Output. The output table to enter our fields appears. Here we set ZXXX as output type and External send like the Medium. When I press enter, the line is automatically filled with the rest of fields. Then we go to Further Data and choose the Send Immediatelly (when saving the application) option. Get back and press Save button. After it, a message "Please enter a communication strategy" is shown and the SD consultant told me that the correct option is MAIL (in fact, this option is part of the F4 help, with "email" as descriptive text) in the Communication strategy field. She told me it should be all to send a mail with the invoice. We did not fill the Logical destination nor checked "Print immediatelly" or "Release after output" checkboxes since they are not useful in this case. So when finally Save button is pressed, a message appears: " ", and then a dialog box appears with the following message: " Express document "Update was terminated" received from author "GILBERTO PARGA"". The mail received in my inbox is only a error message with title "Update was terminated" and the content is the following:

The system is SAP ECC 6.0. Note that the message indicates no output device was defined, but since we are using email instead of print output, it does not matter. I have filled the field with the same result. I have read from Internet it could be a configuration trouble (the SD consultant checked it before, according herself) or even a Basis issue. Anyway, do you know the possible causes and possible solutions (like OSS Notes) for this trouble? The print output works fine, by the way. Thank you all for your help.

If you maintain method EXTERNAL SEND then in communication method you have to specify Communication strategy as CS01(Internet/letter)
If you maintain method simple mail then in communication method you have to maintain RECIPIENT and RECIPIENT TYPE
Also check the number range assignment for billing type for error "Update was terminated"
you might be assigned numbers which are already consumed.

Validataion does not work in batch mode

We created an FI line item validation for transaction FBV1 that does a validation on a field and displays an error message if the validation fails. We have an RFC that uploads data from an Excel template and runs a BDC Call Transaction to upload and park the document. This worked well when we were on 4.6C but when we upgraded to ECC6.0, the Validation works fine when we manually call the FBV1 in SAP and the Validation DOES get triggered and displays a message if the line item validation fails but when we run FBV1 in batch mode, (RFC which contains a call transaction to FBV1) the validation does not work.
I set up break a point in the generated program GBTBOFID where the exception error gets triggered and traced the FI Validation. The program will not display the error Validation message when run in batch but when run online, the error message gets triggered.

After the call transaction the program automatically triggers some SAP generated code for a Validation check for FBV1 line item that we have put in through IMG. The message that should be displayed is in the FI validation check of FBV1.
I put a break point in the SAP generated code for the Validation where the message should be displayed. The program executes the statement that should raise the exception and display the message. As soon as the statement is executed, conrol returns to the the the SAP transaction FBV1 program and the program continues to finish.
The statement that executes and does not display the error message is:

I know how to use about:config & have had the usual problems with newtab page tiles but this is more like a bug- using 33.0.1. Doesn't show tiles icon in top right corner just shows a gear that is used to hide the empty tiles that I can't fill with sites. First it would only show 2 rows of 4 columns even though I had it set to 5 & 6 then few days later for no reason they went empty with a serrated line around the tiles & can't drag from the bookmarks---- really bloody annoying!!!!!!! Possibly a setting in the about:config but i can't fig it out?

SUBMIT does not work in background...

Hi guys,
We have a copy program of a standard transaction and once we use this copy program in the main program via SUBMIT... it does not work in background...
Why is this so,,, Please advice...

Hi,
When executing some program using the statement like SUBMIT prog_2 WITH parameters and RETURN.
In foreground PROG_2 is executed, and once you click on the BACK button the code written after this SUBMIT statement will be executed.
If you are executing the same in the BACKGROUND mode, no feasibility of clicking on BACK button, hence control will remain in the PROG_2 only after executing its logic.
Please code accordingly.
