I found sar command and I got the details of CPU by using #sar -u -f sa23 command.
For memory If I try sar command with �r option , it gives only free memory details only.

Average value of freemem is 172674.The average amount of free memory over the course of a day doesn't seem to be that useful. I'd want to look for the low points (see if we're close to running out during some periods).
Is this value in Megabytes?

from this value can we calculate total memory utilized for this day? like totalmem - freemem = usedmem Depending on what you mean by utilized, yes. Memory can be used for a disk cache, but that use is not shown by decreasing freemem. Uses that are counted are kernel reservations, runtime pages for applications, and direct memory allocations (malloc, etc.)

In the "Shared Services Stupid Trick" blogs, he shows how to find the real access to an application. The side benefit is that it is amusing to read.
In how far this is OK for the licenses is written on another page. You likely need to use the same method as Oracle does. Ask the Salesperson how to do this. (I am curious what his/her reply is).

Most years have 365 days, but a leap year has 366 days. That adds up to 52 weeks (where each week is exactly 7 days) PLUS 1 or 2 additional days. I have a material XYZ for which a valuation category 'H' is assigned. Now I need to create a valuation type for that.
Question - I want to find out for the same plant & st location which are the other materials with valuation category H, and what are the valuation types used.
I checked in mara, mard, mbew etc but of no use.
Which table can i get the data ?

As the valuation details are saved and are based on the material, you can see the details of valuation type in MBEW table...and field as BWTAR
For valuation catagory, you can see the table MARC...field as BWTTY...
If want the valuation type details for both plant and storage location, you shd check the GR table ie. MSEG where you will get the valuation type ....

Source for finding out error codes PB 17"

I ran hardware test and it returned an error code of:
21 SS / 1 / 5 : 0 x 42 (5)
and it was at the logic board test section...
Anyone know this code, or how I can find out what it is?

Google shows one result for this error code without the "(5)" and it seems to have indicated a sound-related problem.
In any event, when AHT shows errors, you really are best advised to take the machine in to have it looked at.

You can use SU10, then click on "Authorization data" -> put * on user -> execute.. you should get a list of all users in the client with details included...
Also you can list them using USMM and check all licensed users....
Also SUIM -> users by complex selection criteria -> By user id -> put * on user -> execute.

Multiple clip selection- way to find out total time?

I have a time line that has (as an example) 20 clips in it. Is there a way to select two or more clips and be able to get the total time of both the selected clips? For example if one clip is 4 seconds and thee second is 3 seconds and the third (or more) is one second, the total time of those clips is eight seconds.
Right now, the only way I know how to get this information is to select those clips, paste them in a new timeline and then look at the total length in the time window on the timeline. I'm also aware I can get the time in each individual clip in the clip properties, but then you need a calculator to get the exact time.
Is there another way?

Hi -
if the clips are adjacent in the timeline then just select the clips and type Shift -A, you will get an in and out marking that includes all the adjacent clips you have selected. You can read this duration in the timecode window that is in the upper left above the canvas.
If you mean you want to randomly select clips and see what the total combined duration of those selected clips is, I am not aware of a way to do that, but would be interested to learn if it is possible.

I am trying to write the program where i need to set the flag "YES" to active employee for the particular time period for the particular position.
For example:

Employee 2 gets assigned as of 1.2.2009 to the same position 10 on which employee 1 is already assigned. Therefore, as of 1.2.2009 emplyoee 1 is not anymore the primary employee of position 10. As employee 2 is leaving the position as of 2.3.09 employee 1 gets again primary employee of that position as of 2.3.2009.
Can any1 suggest me the logic for this?
