Transaction TRIP using IAC iview ot

I am trying to put an iview in the NW2004s portal for transaction code TRIP. I have activated the internal ITS and launched the webgui. Question is, how do i create an iview that will go directly to this transaction without hitting the start menu and with out prompting for logon?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jeremy

Hi jeremy,
You could try using a transaction iview with user mapping to your R/3
id .This would take you to ur needed transaction without prompting u for login.
To Create Transactional iView You Should have a System (Connection) to the back end (R/3 System).
Pls revert if this is not clear.
Hope this helps

    Hi Shakti,
Transaction Iview is to navigate to required transaction eg se80 etc of backend ,it can be used for various purpose for eg to test weather SSO is properly configured or not if yes Transaction Iview should navigate user to mentioned transaction in the iview with out asking for user id and password.

  • Overlapping Trips using Transaction PR05

We are in the process of upgrading from 4.6C to ECC 6.0.  In our 4.6C system we allow overlapping trips between a Weekly Report (transaction PR04) and a Travel Expense Manager Report (transaction PR05).  This is accomplished using feature TRVPA, the WRC part is set to 1.  This part is working correctly in our new ECC 6.0 system.  In our 4.6C system we are also allowed to have overlapping trips in just the Travel Expense Manager transaction.  What we are experiencing with the ECC system is that this is no longer allowed.  We get a hard error message stating that "trip data for that period already exists.
Is there any way around this?  We have a need to allow overlapping trips using transaction PR05.  Any help would be greatly appreciated seeing as we are to "go live" this weekend.
    Thanks,

  • ESS Bus. Pkg EP 6.0 SP19 to R/3 4.7 ext.2 - IAC iView Problem

Given the above components, I've deployed the ESS business package to the Portal. All components deployed successfully... no errors. I'm creating a new Role (custom, not from BP) and I'd like to use one of the iViews from the Business package in this role. I'm using the "Enrollments" iView which seems to be an IAC iView calling PZ14.
Now the problem... when I access this iView via the Portal, ITS is called and the iView loads but only shows me the Easy Access Menu (SMEN). PZ14 never loads. I can enter PZ14 in the transaction field and it will load but it doesn't come up on its own. I also created a SAP GUI for HTML transaction iView to test PZ14 and that one works fine. To meet the customer's requirements though it must look "pretty" ... like the IAC iView does.
The only thing I changed on the iView was the system alias. Changed it from SAP_R3_HumanResources to SAP_R3 (this is the proper name of the system I'm using to test).
    Any ideas?
    -Kevin

This has been resolved. Oddly enough, I inadvertantly added /webgui/! to the end of the ITS Path definition in the system object. This was causing the afore mentioned behavior. Once removed, the iView behaved as expected.

  • Error in creating IAC iviews

    Dear All,
We are trying to create IAC iviews but getting error.
    Environment details:
    OS: AIX 5.3
    DB Oracle 10.2.0.2(UC)
    Application EP7.0 (SPS14)
    Backend ECC 6.0 SR3
We followed the below mentioned steps:
    01) Created one Internet Service ziactest in se80 with the parameters -
    ~transaction = tcode and ~generatedynpro = 1
    02) Published the 'complete service' to the site INTERNAL.
    03) Created one sub element under /sap/bc/gui/sap/its as ziactest
    04) Modified the service ziactest as :
    - specified "GUI Link" = Yes
    - specified following GUI Configuration parameters:
    ~WEBGUI = 1
    ~SINGLETRANSACTION = 1
    ~NOHEADEROKCODE = 1
    ~TRANSACTION = tcode
    ~GENERATEDYNPRO = 1
    - specifed handler as CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS
    05) save & activated the service
When trying to test the service, we are getting a script error "Error on Page": wgu_global_eventhandler is null or not an object and the page displayed - is getting distorted . Also, system is specifying that: "The URL
http://gcbeccd:/sap/public/bc/its/mimes/system/page/menubase.html was not called due to an error."
When tried directly with the above url, the following error is getting displayed:
"The following error text was processed in the system RD3: The theme extracted from PAGE/MENUBASE.HTML has more than 2 characters."
Please note that: The SAP GUI for HTML has been configured and working properly. Also, the SAP note 790727 has been applied to resolve this problem but no result.
Any help in this regard will be highly appriciated.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sudip

    Hello Sudip,
If the webgui service is working then there should be no reason for this to not work.  By specifying ~webgui 1 you're actually not using any template you've created for the ziactest service.  The URL should be:
    http://gcbeccd:/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/ziactest
    Please also try:
    http://gcbeccd:/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=tcode
Please also publish the IAC, WEBGUI and SYSTEM Internet Services from SE80 to the Internal ITS.
You should look at the developer trace (dev_w#) for the Dialog Workprocess that is used and reporting the error for more information.

  • IAC iViews - Save old status

    Hello experts,
I have a problem with the ITS Service in portal side. if I hace two pages, page1 and page2, and this pages are IAC iViews for the same ITS service, and I perform this steps:
    1) open page1
    2) press a button in page1, that will show more information
    3) open page2
    4) open page1
When I open the page1, in point 4, the status was not the same that I got when opened the iView for the first time, but with the content that I got after I press button.
How can I fix this? I want that, when I open the page1 in 4th step, I get the same content that in step1.
    Can someone help me?
    Thank you
    BR
    Joao

    Hi,
Which transaction are you using on your ITS service? You can define two services, one for edit and another one for view. On first step you run first service and on fourth step you run second service.
    Hope this helps,
    Iván.

  • Problem when testing ITS (IAC) iView

    Hi all,
I have created a service for a T-Code:SMEN.When I test this service I am able to see the 'SMEN' screen, but in the command box if I type any t-code, say "SE38".
The entire screen refreshes but it is not taking me to "SE38"..
I have complete authorizations for all t-codes.
In this service I have the below parameters:
    Parameter Name value
    ~TRANSACTION smen
    ~GENERATEDYNPRO 1
I have created a IAC iView with this service and even in the preview of this iView, same thing happens.
Can any one give some direction in solving this ..
    Thanks in advance
    sethu

Michael is right - you should not be using an IAC iView, but a SAP Transaction iView with the SAP GUI type set to "Web GUI".

  • Passing Parameters to an IAC Iview

I am trying to fill in a field name for an IAC Iview. It renders the requested transaction, but doesn't fill out the field. I am using the ApplicationParameter property with an IAC Transaction iview.
In the ApplicationParameter field I just have one value: <fieldname>=<value>
I am able to get this to work using a web gui transaction iview, and it fills out the requested field ok. However, I have to use a IAC transaction iview because of its abiliy to hide buttons and the transaction box, so any clues as to would be appreciated.

  • Internet Services & IAC Iviews

    Hi,
I created an IAC Iview on Portal based on an Internet Service. I have configured SSO with the R/3 System. It is also working fine. Now when I preview the Iview, it shows up properly. But when I do it the  second time, either it shows SAP Easy access menu or pages does not show at all. After restarting my portal, I again tried the opening the page. It came properly, I used the Menu> System> Logoff path within the Iview to Logoff. Now it is working for the second time also.
So, How do I avoid using the logoff option. I cannot expect the user to logoff after viewing each of these Internet Services. There are about 30 such Iviews based on Internet Services. I hope I made my question clear.
    Any suggestions ?
    Murali.

    hi,
    Description
Enables / disables the SAP Easy Access menu immediately after logon if no transaction is specified when running the SAP GUI for HTML.
If ~webgui_easy_access_menu is set to 0 or it is undefined and no value is specified for ~transaction, users logging on to the SAP GUI for HTML see the initial SAP screen without the SAP Easy Access menu. To display the SAP Easy Access menu, they have to request it explicitly by choosing Start SAP Easy Access.
If you set ~webgui_easy_access_menu to 1 and no value is specified for ~transaction, users logging on to the SAP GUI for HTML see the initial SAP screen with the SAP Easy Access menu immediately.
    Set by
    Service file webgui.srvc .
    Values
    0
Displays the initial SAP screen without the SAP Easy Access menu after logon to the SAP GUI for HTML, if no transaction is specified (default).
    1
Displays the initial SAP screen with the SAP Easy Access Menu after logon to the SAP GUI for HTML, if no transaction is specified.
    Example
    ~webgui_easy_access_menu     1
Try using this service parameter in your internet service file and let me know

  • EWT IAC iViews

    Hi
When I create an IAC Iview for EWT Transactions, the look and feel is very different for these transactions compared to the normal Professional User Transactions.I get a dark blue screen.

    are you using integrated ITS?
does this happen only in this transaction? (table control not appearing)
check whether all releavant services are active in transaction SICF?
relevant service for SAPGUI for HTML
check whether all nodes are active (in SICF) under
    default_host->sap->public->bc
    particularly public->bc->its->mimes
and there is a specific OSS note dealing with your issue.
(if you are on standalone ITS)

  • MiniApps & IAC iview

    Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the difference between SAP miniapps iview and IAC iview in Enterprise Portal 6.0.
    Regards
    Vasu

    Hi Vasu,
Miniapps is the old name for portlets (iviews) from SAP's Workplace portal.  IAC's (Internet application component) is another type of portlet that were developed to run with SAP's Internet Transaction Server (ITS).
Most of SAP's early portal applications were Miniapps or IACs. Most can still be used with EP6.0 portal systems.
    Hope this helps,

  • Unable to call Internet Service from EP IAC iview

    Hi.
I'm trying to call a r/3 transaction with ITS from portal iview. I wan't to hide menu and toolbar, so I've created an Internet Service in SICF/SE80 with several parameters (webgui_simple_toolbar, ...). The service is activated and published. When I run it, Internet Explorer send me a 403 error.
I've tried to create an iac iview and links the service to it, but system return same problem.
ITS is ok, because I can run r/3 transaction from EP whithout any problem.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Edgar.
Service doesn't run from R/3 system. I've used ITS parameters "TRANSACTION", "WEBGUI", "WEBGUI_SIMPLE_TOOLBAR" and "GENERATEDYNPRO".
R/3 can't run the service and give a 403 error.
Service is actived and published, using SICF and SE80 transactions. Finally, I've run SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL and all is good.
When service runs on R/3 system, I will build IAC iView on EP.
    Any idea?
    Thanks a lot.

  • Portal Theme for IACs iViews (ITS Theme Generator)?

    Hi guys,
it's me again I got another question / issue (i didn't post it at the other thread, cause this is another issue):
We deployed the SRM BP 5.0 to the Portal EP 7.0 SP14 and now i want to change the look and feel of the SRM iViews.
I allready customized the Portal Theme via the "Theme Editor".
But the IACs iViews are staying SAP standard.
I got the hint to use the ITS Theme Generator, so I did. But now i come to the point where i am trapped:
I specified at the ITS Theme Generator the following entries:
    The ITS URL : <ITS Server>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/
    UserID : ####
    PW: ****
    Service: bbpsc02
    Theme: MyTheme
Then the new page opens and the transaction is displayed. At the upper side the transaction is previewed. at the lower side the images of the transaction is displayed.
AND Now here comes the big Questionmark:
How do i change e.g. the background color of this transaction or the text font? i can't find any section which would offer me this functionality!
The only thing i can "customize" are the images...what about the rest? What if i want to have my buttons grey instead of Yellow?
Or  am i completely wrong? does this customization has to be done in the R/3 itself?
Any help or hint is warmly welcome and of course will be rewarded by points.
    Thanks a lot ....
    best wishes
    Stefan

    Hi Guys,
actually we made an OSS message.
The result was that there is no standard portal way to customize the IAC themes for the BP SRM witht the tool "ITS Theme Generator".
To my knowledge the only way how to adapt the theme of these iViews is to customize them directly at the SRM back end via the transaction SE80.
Well that's the end of the story...
    Greetz to all of you
and see you soon in an other question /post
    Kind regards
    Stefan

  • IAC iview doesn't run when change to another and come back

    Hi,
    I've defined an IAC iview tha calls an ITS services (parameters ~webgui = 1, ~generatedynpro = 1, ~simpletransaction = 1, ~transaction = ).
First time I run this iview, it runs well. I run another iview and when I come back to the first one (IAC iview), it doesn't run, it shows me a r/3 screen that let me access r/3 menu, so it doesn't run my ITS service.
I'm using ECC (ITS integrated) and I'm not using SSO.
