Transactional Data Copy from In-Active version to Active version(APO)

Hi
I want to copy the Transactional Planning data from Inactive version to Active version, so that from Active version I can transfer that data to ECC.
Kindly give the valuable inputs for my Query.

try the transaction /SAPAPO/VERCOP - to Copy Planning Version
select if u want to copy the entire version (master as well as transaction data)
u can also trigger parallel processing and also restrict

I am doing a transaction dat aload from the BW data feed to BPC cube. When I did the validation of the transformation file the task was sucessfully completed with some skipped records as expected based on the conversion files.

This is a fresh system and we are doing the data load for the first time. we are using BPC NW 7.5 with SP4
Is there something which we are missing which is supposed to be performed before starting the load for the first time.

Copy Version-Budget data copied from one version to another-How to view Data in Copied Version.

Dear All,
Budget Data is copied from one Version to another Version using Tools>copy Version option. How can you view Data copied to new Version, when you receive a message Version is successfully copied.
I think we can do that by selecting appropriate version in the version dimension while accessing the Forms or in Smart View.
Can you please let me know how to do this or different options available with this process.

PO prices and condition pricing date copied from previous PO using ME21N

We have defined a default for buyers with the TAB Price Adoption - "copying of conditions from last purchase order" set to Do Not Copy. We have assigned this default via parameter EVO to all of our buyers. When creating a purchase order using transaction ME21N and creating based upon previous purchase order all of the previous purchase order pricing and the condition pricing date is copied over. Isn't this what the parameter is supposed to prevent?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

No, copiing a complete PO is something different than creating a new PO where the price is usually taken from last PO if no price conditions are maintained in an info record.
You prevent only the second case with EVO parameter.

Data Transfer from 4.7 version system to 6.0 version system

Hello Experts ,
We have our FICO system is on 4.7 version. But our HR System is on 6.0 version. FICO (4.7) system is old one with all data. And HR (6.0) is being newly implemented....
We need some data from FI (4.7) system to HR (6.0) . In future if any changes happens in FI (4.7) system the same changes need to be done in HR (6.0) system too . For ex : If currency of particular country changed..Then as FI is imp we will make that chnage in FI box..We want to reflect the same change in HR box as well.....
We found 2 ways for this :
!) doing manually
2) Doing either by transporting or using ALE /IDoc method
We want to investigate ways to perform the same using 2 way as this is very simple. But we have doubts here... As HR is on 6.0 and FI is on 4.7 ..... Can we transport data using transports ??? (between2 different versions /??)
If transports are not done , then we do that using ALE/ IDocs? using IDoc's we gerenally send transctional data... This configuration settings comes under master data ... can we send this master data using ALE/ IDoc or LSMW..If yes suggest us the msg types ...or other needed info,.

Yes, distribution of master data via ALE should be OK between these two systems, no problems whatsoever.
You can use message type COSMAS to distribute cost centres for example which is necessary and is most common change scenario for both HR and FI systems. For all other message types see list of Message Types under transaction (Area Menu) WEDI.
I think ALE should be the correct approach given your scenario.

I think that LSMW can be of help in this case.
Otherwise, please check with your ABAPer whether any BDC is there for mass uploading of master data.

With datacopy, you need to specify the member names.
e.g. datacopy membera to memberb;
You can use substitution variable, but
function is not working with datacopy.

Transaction Data Load from Infoprovider Problem?

Hi Dear colleagues;
I have a load transaction from infoprovider data problem. I have transformation file and i prepared our mapping. my transformation file like this:

As you see in 3rd picture .. Submit count seems 18525. So i have 18k datas in my BW cube. Lets look Bw side

can i write multiple selection about 0SALESORG ? ( EX: 0SALESORG,2000,3000...) are there any syntax about that?

I recently bought a mac mini and i have copied my files from my old computer to my new mac min. After migrating i cannot see the data to where it has been copied. Different QT Data Rates from Different FCP Versions

My sound guy requires a Motion JPEG A version of my timeline, 320 x 240, 2 fields, odd dominance, at around a 1000-1500 kbit/sec data rate (no audio attached). When I did such conversions from FCP 4.5 / OS 10.3, the quality meter would have to be set to 70% to fit into his data rate requirement. I recently upgraded to FCP 5.0 / OS 10.4 and now I have to set the quality meter to around 15% to get the same data rate!!! What's going on? This quality is far too low for my sound guy to do his job.

Error while doing Transaction data loading from ECC to BW

HI,
I faced error in data records so i corrected it manually by going PSA Maintenance. then now when i am trying to schedule data laod by going to that Data source then right click on Manage then select Request which i have updated with correct records. then Again right click-->UPDATE WITH SCHEDULER .now next screen is SCHEDULER(PSA SUBSQUENT UPDATE) here i am not getting any Data Target means data target field is disabled so i cannot schedule it for load.
Any solution for this error.

Hi,
I guess you have not deleted the request from the InfoCube 'Manage' Screen. If the request is already updated to your InfoCube/ODS ,then it will not show the Data Target in PSA Scheduler.
You can try to re-load the data using 'Only PSA' in the InfoPackage and then correct the errors and load the data using Update option from the Manage screen.

Residual item - data copied from invoice

Hi All -
When a residual item is posted in the system, per invoice - say using F-28, the new residual open item will have the Assignment number and reference number copied over from the invoice it is posted against.
I am trying to get other fields such as reference key 1/ ref key 2/ ref key 33 also to copy over to the residual new open item.
Is this achievable? If so, how... any suggestions really appreciated..

I have requirement on customer master data maintenance, When ever i create a customer in one sales area it has to copied automatically to other sales area.Even if i change also system should replicate the changes to same customer in other sales area.

This will make sure that Master Data you create for one Sales Area is valid for other Sales Areas also...

The solution with the additional UDF is 'half' a way to go, at least to add the Name field to the address in GP master (which SAP probably just forgot ;-). This still leaves the problem of still not being able to just overwrite the Ship-To in an Sales Order to enter a free name + address specified by the customer. Even for a 'one-time' used name + address, I will have to add it to the GP master, which is nonsense, IMHO.
I simply can not understand why B1 does not copy the name and the address to the ship-to field - just that plain easy. This would leave all the possibilities for every situation open.
