Transactions created by user "WEBLOGIN"

Hi Experts,
We have ISA b2b ecom application. Very rarely, Order created by some user ID is replaced as created by WEBLOGIN. As per my understanding WEBLOGIN is the system user id no one will use the WEBLOGIN ID to create the orders. How the system is updating the created by value as WEBLOGIN ID.
1. we have cheked the order change history. History also shows only WEBLOGIN ID (not the USER ID which is used for creating order.)
2. We can confirm that No user is using the WEBLOGIN ID.
3. This is occuring the very rarly .
Can any one have idea about this issue..?

If your shopusers have not enough rights, the ecommerce is switching back to the JCO-User.
Give your shopusers enough rights, then that problem should be solved.

Create the user master records using the Enterprise Portal

Hello gurus!!
I'm configuring SRM 7.0 with EP.
I'm configuring the organizational structure, and steps guide (pdf and Solution Manager ) are:
1. Go to transaction SU01 and create an ABAP User. (SRMADMIN)
2. Assign this user the administrator role /SAPSRM/ADMINISTRATOR
3. As the administrator, creater the organizational plan
4. Create the remaining organizational unit
5. Using the Enterprise Portal application, Business Parter:Employee, create the user master records for the departmental managers.
How I must create the user in Enterprise Portal? What user I have to use to log on in the Enterprise Portal application? Has the user to be integrated in the organzational structure??

You can create users in WebDynpro application. You can also create users in USERS_GEN transaction.

Transaction code for user menu, sap easy access

Hi system experts!
Does anybody know which transaction causes the user-specific menu within "SAP easy access" (the welcome screen after login, like /n does) ?
I need it to be called from a portal iView, so that the usual sapgui-like screen with the user's menu appears in a portal screen, both for SAPGUI for windows and http.
Trx. S000 or SESSION_MANAGER does not cause the user-specific menu when called from the portal. These work least of all for call via ITS.

hi ,
The transaction code is SE41.. This is for creating Menus and tool bars.
you can also try SMEN it will call the user menu as you described in your post.

How to create a user ID

hello friends,
can you please tell me how to create user ID in server. I have newly joined and in IDEs server it has been asked me to create user ID my self.

Hey Akshay,
Steps are as follows:
1. Click on the SAP Logon pad.
2. Give the user ID and Passwd
3. Type transaction code su01
4. You will see the screen name "User Maintenence"
5. Give the name in the user field and then click on the icon (blank folded page) or press F8.
6.After hitting create, "maintain user" will open, there you have to fill all the tabs such as Address, logon data,
Defauls, Parameters, Roles, Profiles, Group, personalization and License data.
7. Save it after.
Note: When you are assigning the profile, DO NOT GIVE "SAP_ALL" and "SAP_NEW" bcoz no one will have this profile. Better you ask the manager or the concerned person what profile you need.

Hi,
Roles are decided by IT managers. Suppose if Persons who are working in shopfloor or production side
give authorization to Production order create , change and Confirm like that etc
1. In role maintenance (transaction PFCG), choose the Authorizations tab page.
2. To change the authorization data for the transactions assigned to the role, choose Change Authorization Data or Expert Mode for Profile Generation. Otherwise, a dialog box appears in expert mode (see Regenerating an Authorization Profile After Changes).

goto SQ03 and create an User Group If U want to create Ur Own.
Goto SQ02 to create Ur Infoset by Giving Logical database name or Simple Database table
Then Choose What ever data U need to be included in The Qurey in field Groups.
Then Generate the Infoset
Now Assign the infoset to user group
Now goto SQ01 and Click on Other user group Button and choose Ur user Group.
Then in the USer group select Ur Infoset and then create Ur own Query and save this.
Now select the infoset query and goto More functions under Query menu and Generate report name.
Now Create a transaction code for the report name generated.
Now use the Tcode.
Hope U have got the basic idea of creating Queries.

I want to assign 5 transactions to a user where, for 2 transactions the user should have a display option only and for the rest of the transaction he should have the full authorization.
I know the basics of creating user (su01) and roles (pfcg ), which contain auth. objects followed by profile generation. But in this scenario how can I proceed. Need your help.

Of course it does depend on which transactions these 5 transactions are.
Some tcodes are display only regardless of the access for a specific object checked by the 5 transactions.
However I agree with the others: the transaction code is not that important (other than it's context for pulling in the authorizations required to actually use the 1 of 5 transactions into the role via SU24 or "case sensitive" for a program based on the transaction context (system field sy-tcode)). Many usefull transactions in SAP care about the authorization object' activity type field values and other application object fields, and most will let you switch to change mode from the display transaction if you have change access - regardless of the transaction (S_TCODE) but sometimes checking other TCD related field ID's.
Reporting tcodes are often different though: these have the same core checks but other options and objects.
Both transaction and reporting tcodes often have customizing dependencies as well, so you do not gave to use authorization objects always.
Rather complicated actually... as are the menus of the transactions from a security perspective....

background user is created via transaction su01, there is option for dialog or background user.
if use transaction spro, SAP NetWeaver > Business Intelligence > Automated Processes > Create User for Background Processes

Error message in creating EBP users from existing SU01 users

I am getting the following error messages when i try to create EBP users from existing SU01 users using users_gen: Error during creation of user: User not created or error(s) occurred during user creation. ``Central person`` already exists for user (BBPU_MESSAGES 042). Pls what does it mean and how do i solve this?

The message is indicating that the user you are attempting to create was previously created in the EBP system.
First I would try to correct the user via users_gen using the "check users" option. This may repair the user, but if the user has lost the association to the org then you will need to take some manual steps to re-establish the links for the user in the org details.
If this doesn't correct it, then use transaction PP01 to correct/verify the following relationships for the user. Start with the org unit and work your way down looking for the broken link/s.
Here are the required relationships for the objects:

Operating system is CentOS 5.

While looking into trace file i found there is error in creating SAPJSF user in ABAP instance
When i tried to log on to ABAP instance following short dump is came and it is coming for each transaction
An invalid request was made to the database interface
when accessing table "DOKTL ".

I am working on IS-U system and there is no reference user tab under su01 transaction. Anyway, I have already resolved this problem. Under su01 we have to perform the following actions to create reference user .
Click on Goto Menu -> References.
