Transcodificar adobe encore

Sorry, an abnormal condition has been detected.
Before quitting, you have one chance to save your project
(don´t use the same name as the original).
Out of memory.
[/dev/stingray/libraries/uiframework/src/window.cpp-247]
EDITAR AJUSTES PREESTABLECIDO DE TRANSCODIFICACION voy directamente a AUTOMATICO.
No entiendo nada.

  • Adobe Encore and Creative Cloud Help...

    Hello,
I am using  Creative Cloud. I tried to access the Encore program but it was not there. I went to Adobe training and was instructed to UNinstgall the Premiere CS6 trial I had been suing but to leave the Encore intact. I did this but it still wont let me open the Encore. I get the following error message.
    Adobe Encore.exe
This program can’t start because amtlib.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
I am running a Windows machine with Windows 8.
Can you help? I need to know how to access Adobe Encore.
    Thanks

So you were using the Premiere Pro CS6 trial?
I would uninstall Encore CS6 from your computer, then reboot.
Log into CC and download Premiere Pro CS6 as described in these steps.  Then run PPro CS6 to make sure it works, and that you're NOT in trial mode.  Close PPro CS6.  Then run Encore CS6.
If this works, then you can uninstall PPro CS6, leaving only Encore CS6.

  • Trying to use Adobe Encore to create a manual advance keynote BD-ISO

    Hi All,
    Background:
I'm a media designer that produces corporate media content for a recruiting firm.
    Objective:
I'm  trying to devise a way for presenters in our sales offices to run  standardized group interview and training HD keynote shows without the use of a DVD player or a laptop on their LCD screens.
Laptops=  every manager needs an apple computer and keynote software to run the  content + its messy to have to manage wired connections to the mounted  LCD panels all the time.
DVD Players= any updates that  are required to this content from time to time make the idea of  re-shipping physical DVD's logistically undesirable.
    Proposed Solution:
Perminently  integrate a BD-ISO (menu) compatible HD media player into our office  setups that will run manual advance Keynote BD-ISO's (created in Encore)  where any new updates can just be downloaded from a central server in  the form of a Blu-ray master iso image by the end-user, dropped on their  USB flash drive, and played through the media player.
Here's the workflow I've come up with (Problem to follow):
    1. Design a 1280x720 keynote presentation in Apple iWork's Keynote '09
    2. Export a timed (Intervals: 5 sec/between each slide & 2 sec/between each object animation) h.264 | 1280x720 | 29.97 quicktime .mov file
    3. Create Blu Ray Encore Project (1280x720, h.264, 29.97)
    4. Import .mov file as timeline
    5. Insert chapter markers at the beggining of every animation/transition (On diagram below- I'm talking about Ch. 3 & 5)
    6. Insert a second chapter marker directly before each of the  previous set of chapter markers as close together as encore will allow (On diagram below- I'm talking about Ch. 2 & 4)
    7. Set "end action" on each of the second set of chapter points (Ch. 2 & 4 below) to "Link back to here" so that the still image hold that occures after each "keynote animation" (thanks to the 2 sec hold time I set in the Keynote export- see step 2 above) is isolated so the playback loops on that chapter (which is a still frame because of the 2 sec pause between animations as set in keynote export).
Note on this technique: Idea is to set up the timeline and chapter end actions so that the playback loops on a few identical frames that exist between the two "extremely-close-together" chapter points (creating a "pause" effect) until the end user hits "Next Chapter" button on remote to jump to the proceeding chapter that contains the next keynote animation or tranistion.
    Diagram:
    (timeline->    ...---------------Ch.2<-- -->Ch.3(beggining of  animation)-------------------------------------(end of animation)Ch.4<-- -->Ch.5------------------------->)
    8. Set "First Play," "Title Button," and "Timeline End Action" to Ch.1  of the timeline (so it starts there when ISO is activated and loops  back to there at the end of the presentation).
    9. Export as "Blu-ray" Image
    10. Load iso file on a USB flash drive, plug it into BD-ISO (menu) supported media player, and run the ISO and Voila!! = HD Keynote presentation running from BD-ISO file on a media player. PERFECT SOLUTION....
    PROBLEM:
One of the most marketable (due to affordable price-point) BD-ISO (full menu support) media players is the HDX BD1. When I run the ISO file on this unit, it will play the first chapter, and pause and loop on chapter 2 like it is supposed to, creating the pause effect; But when I select "next chapter" it says "cannot_execute"- and I cannot proceed to the next transition/animation. I've previewed the setup in the encore preview feature and it behave's perfectly.
I'd be quick to say its a hardware issue but I've checked out several YouTube videos with people demoing this exact media player running and navigating feature film BD-ISO's (selecting "next chapter" and all) without any issues at all.
I've mastered something similar to this technique using DVDSP on SD DVD's, because DVDSP allows me to infinitley pause playpack ON each chapter point, not even needing the use of the "loop" feature I've set up in encore; But Adobe Encore doesn't offer a "pause" end action so I've come up with this as the next best thing. Although it doesn't play back properly on a full BD-ISO NAVI supported media player.
    QUESTIONS:
    1. Based on this setup, is there anything obvious I'm missing in Adobe Encore that would eleviate this playback problem on the media player?
    2. Is there another authoring workflow within Encore that would allow me to acheive Keynote motion graphic, manual-advance slideshows?
    Thanks for help in advance.

    Hi Chad,
The most probable explanation is that Encore is creating incorrect navigation commands. It is well known and documented that Encore Blu-ray navigation works only for the simplest cases.
This should be easy to fix using BluStreak Tracer, Rivergate Software's upcoming post-authoring solution:
    http://blustreak.dvdafteredit.com/blustreak-tracer-macintosh
If you will prepare a small test case (1 GB or less) and post it on an FTP server, I will take a look and attempt to update it for you. You can contact me through our web site's contact page.
    Regards,
    Larry

  • I am trying to import subtitles to Adobe Encore but am getting error messages...

I am trying to import subtitles from a software called Aegisub to Adobe Encore, but i am receiving this error message:
The software that is used to decode the media is not available on this system. Installing the correct decoders for the files you are working with may help to correct the problem.
I have exported the subtitles as an Encore text file but it still won't allow me attach these to my video. I have exported the video from Premiere as an H.264 and that slots into Encore just fine, i just need to use Encore to attach the subtitles.
Can anyone tell me what i might be doing wrong?
    Thank you.

Thanks Stan. I think this is probably the answer but seeing as i am doing this at work, it is telling me the action was stopped because it needs to be checked by an administrator.
If i manage to succeed, i shall let you know. I was trying to import as an asset, wrongly, so this is probably going to be the solution.
    Thank you

  • "Adobe encore a cessé de fonctionner" (Adobe Encore has stopped working)

    English version below
    Bonjour,
    Hi everyone,
I've had an issue since I installed Premiere Pro CS6 and Encore CS6 on my laptop.
Premiere Pro won't work, which is no surprise given my lame GPU, but Encore won't work.
In fact, when I launch it, Encore lauches in about 5 seconds and then it opens, a window pops up with 3 options : create a new file or project (cant remember the name), open a file or check the news related to Encore.
But Encore wont let me create a file : it crashes whenever I try and since I have no .enc file on my computer (first time user), I can't check the 'open file' option. The third choice does nothing but open a tab with adobe website on Google Chrome.
Please help in any way you can, I'm running out of patience here and don't know what to do !
    Tristan

Premiere Pro won't work, which is no surprise given my lame GPU,
This must be fixed.  The GPU only affects playback, not whether the program works.
Encore wont let me create a file : it crashes whenever I try

  • PS3 (Playstation 3) issue not loading BDR Bluray | Adobe Encore CS6

I recently created a Bluray using Adobe Encore CS6, and the Bluray is not loading on my PS3, but is working fine on my other player (LG, Toshiba and PC).  Does anyone have the same issue and found a solution?  I need help on this as most of my client use their PS3 as Bluray player.
Authoring program: Adobe Encore CS6 with the Creative Cloud latest update
PS3 with latest firmware update (PS+ member with auto-update: on)
Video files: 1920x1080 FPS 23.976 Program Stream MPEG-2 for Bluray *.m2v (transcode with FCP Compressor)
Audio files: Dolby Digital Audio *.ac3
    Burner software: CyberLink Power2Go V6
Burner hardware: HP BD Writer bd340i
    Media: Verbatim BD-R 25GB 6x Speed
    Project size: 20/25GB
The project setting in CS6 is: Blu-ray NTSC with MPEG-2 Codec at 1920x1080 at 23.976FPS
The “Check Project” shows no error.  I build (output) as an image, then burn the *.ISO file using CyberLink Power2Go.
The BD-R work fine everywhere (LG & Toshiba player) except on my PS3.  The BD-R has the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folder, so I don’t know why my PS3 don’t recognize it.  And I have three PS3 at home; 1xPS3 80GB version (3yrs old) and 2xPS3 super slim (1yr old).  All three are unable to see the BD-R.  My PS3 work fine with all other media (games & movie Bluray); and I highly doubt that all three have trouble with the Bluray player.
I did the same process last time (in 2013) and everything is working fine, all the same configuration, except I used Adobe Encore CS4.  My PS3 was able to read and recognize the BD-R.  But since CS6, my PS3 don’t see the BD-R.  I also put back the copy that I did last year with CS4 (just to make sure that is not a PS3 firmware issue) and the Bluray work fine.  The media (Verbatim) come from the same tower (leftover from last year).
So everything point toward CS6…is there something that change from CS4 to CS6 for Bluray creation? Jumping from Encore CS4 to CS6, I don’t see anything different, but look like there is, because the Bluray can no longer be played on my PS3.  Please help!

Create an ISO (Encore) or folder on your hard drive (Encore or Premiere Elements) and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write files or folders or ISO to disc for DVD or BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)
Imgburn will read the ACTUAL disc brand from the disc, which is not always the same as the box label (Memorex is notorious for buying "anything" and putting it inside a Memorex box)
When you write to disc with Imgburn, use the SLOWEST possible speed setting, so your burner has the best chance to create "good, well formed" laser burn holes... since no player is required to read a burned disc, having a "good" one from a high quality blank will help

  • Why Does One See References to Adobe Encore in the PrE Forum?

Some forum subscribers have been puzzled at why Adobe Encore gets mentioned in the Premiere Elements Forum. There are some reasons, that many might not be immediately aware of, but first, let’s talk about what Adobe Encore is.
Adobe Encore is a full-featured, DVD-Video/BD (Blu-ray Disc) authoring application. Unfortunately, as of Premiere Pro CS 3, it is not longer available as a stand-alone product - it is only available bundled with Premiere Pro (CS 3 and later). Now for a little bit of history. Once Premiere Pro (1.0, 1.5 and 2.0) were sort of like Premiere Elements, in that they had limited DVD authoring features built right into the program. Like PrE, some of those features were semi-automatic, though not to the degree that PrE is. Up until PrPro CS 2, one had to buy Encore as a separate program, if they needed all of its features. With PrPro CS 2, a suite of video-production programs were bundled as “CS 2 Production Studio.” With that suite, one got Encore, along with some other Adobe programs, that are very useful for video-production, along with the Adobe NLE (Non Linear Editor) Premiere Pro, such as Adobe Illustrator (Vector Art program), Adobe Photoshop (Raster/pixel-based digital image manipulation program), Adobe After Effects (compositing and animation program), and Adobe Audition (Audio editing program). Even within that suite, Premiere Pro still had the limited authoring capabilities. Because of added features, that linked Premiere Pro to Encore more directly, Encore was changed enough, that it was taken off the market, and ONLY provided with Premiere Pro. With CS 3, Premiere Pro lost all authoring capabilities, as those were all relegated to Adobe Encore.
How does that affect Premiere Elements in any way? Well, Encore is based on the Sonic AuthorCore modules, which Adobe licenses from Sonic. Some of those are the same modules that exist in Sonic’s very expensive authoring application, Sonic Scenarist. In Encore, those Sonic modules are hidden behind what is termed an “abstraction layer,” and the user does not really see those - only the abstraction layer, that is thought of as Encore. Still, the heart and soul of Encore ARE those Sonic AuthorCore modules. They are what makes Encore run.
Premiere Elements shares some of those Sonic AuthorCore modules, though a smaller subset. In that regard, Premiere Elements and Encore are more like step-brothers, or at least first-cousins. Just like in Encore, one never sees the Sonic modules. as they are also hidden below an abstraction layer. In Premiere Elements, it goes beyond that, in that most of the authoring capabilities are semi-automatic. That ease of use, through the automation is a positive, on one hand, but the authoring functions end up being rather linear, and limited - still, for most users, that ease of use is a major attraction, in that they can author a DVD, or BD, easily and efficiently, with but a few steps and considerations. Here, Adobe Encore differs, though the two programs are closely related. In Encore, one gets many more features, and capabilities, but at the price of having to do everything by hand - almost zero automation at all. One gets additional power, but they must do all the work themselves. Not nearly so easy, as with Premiere Elements’ authoring.
Because of the common Sonic AuthorCore modules, there are instances where what works, or does not work in Encore, translates almost exactly to Premiere Elements. Many of the same problems and limitations can exist in both programs.
First, the biggest limitation is from the DVD-Video and BD specifications themselves. Both sets of specifications are extremely well-defined, and dictate specific requirements, if the DVD-Video/BD is to be 100% compliant, and play, as it should, on computers with DVD/BD software, or on appropriate set-top hardware players. Both Encore and Premiere Elements must deal with those specifications, and cannot deviate from them.
Next, because of the Sonic AuthorCore modules, that both programs share, there are some extra considerations, such as long file Paths, spaces in file names (common in most OS’s for a very long time now), some special characters in file names, that cause conflicts, etc.. Those often come into play more often with Encore, than with Premiere Elements, due to Elements’ semi-automation, and the fact that one is still working within the NLE, Premiere Elements, just in a different part of it. Because of some of those limitations, and concerns, one might see some Encore articles mentioned, or linked. As Adobe Encore has its own very active forum, much of that material has already been written there, so it’s easiest to just link to an Encore article, that has applications to Premiere Elements and its authoring capabilities.
Because the two programs have some major differences, regarding their features and capabilities, there are often requests to do more, regarding Menus, and navigation, in Premiere Elements. Because it is a simplified, more linear, and semi-automatic authoring application, it lacks much of the power, beyond simple DVD/BD authoring with a pretty limited form of navigation. When a user wishes to go beyond, they will require a different program. Encore is a possibility, BUT it is now only available WITH Premiere Pro (an expensive program, at about 7x the price of Premiere Elements), it’s not really viable, unless one also owns Premiere Pro. Another option is Sonic Scenarist, but since the full package is about US $ 50,000, and as it is designed for large commercial authoring studios, that is not really an option for most Premiere Elements owners. Next, there ARE other authoring applications, that ARE full-featured, and can offer that extra control, and navigation, such as the often-recommended Sony DVD Architect. At its base level, it is about US $39 for the download version. For even more power, Sony offers a “Pro” version, that is still quite inexpensive, especially compared to Sonic Scenarist, or Premiere Pro with Encore. When one needs to go beyond the rather limited authoring capabilities of Premiere Elements, the entry-level DVD Architect is a great value, and an excellent program. There are others available, but I see less written about them - still, with some research, a user might well find that they suit the needs, and for a much reduced price over Sonic Scenarist.
However, for most Premiere Elements users, the authoring capabilities built in, are all that they will require, and those will work for them in most cases. Most users will never need to go beyond those capabilities, and will likely benefit greatly from the provided semi-automation’s ease of use.

Will say the apps (games) that ask you to download another game to unlock something in there game is NOT using ads. They are all made by the same game company (or combination of companies) that are sharing data with each other and using their popularity of one game to promote their other games. It is not an ad service where somebody is getting paid for clicks but rather them getting more downloads for their products where they offer them for free and have advertising in them where they get paid for number of eyes viewing.
But with that said, this is a user to user forum, you are not talking to Apple here so nobody can fully answer you about "why".

  • Very poor video quality after transcoding in Adobe Encore CS5.1

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I have very poor video quality after transcoding the video file (MPEG) in  Adobe Encore CS5.1. Below you see my used settings in my filmproject.
The problem exists after transcoding in Adobe Encore CS5.1. I checked all steps and found out that there is no problem until transcoding. My exported file  in MPEG has very good video and audio quality.
    Facts:
    1. Camcorder: Panasonic AG-AC160AEJ
Operating System : Windows 7, 64 Bit, Ultimate edition
    Source files: MTS files
    Recording settings (clip settings):
    Type: MPEG Movie
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Frame Rate: 25,00
Source Audio Format: 48000 Hz - compressed - Stereo
Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - Stereo
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1,0
    2. Sequence settings in Premiere Pro
Sequence was created from Clip directly with settings above.
    3. Exporting settings in Adobe Premiere Pro:
Match sequence settings was activated. Now other changes were set.
    4. Exported File:
    Video
    Image Size: 1920 x 1080
    Data Transfer Rate: 25920 kBit / s
    Frame rate: 25
    Audio:
    Bit rate: 384 kBit / s
    Channels: 2 (stereo)
    Frequence: 48 kHz
    5. Transcoding settings in Adobe Encore:
I used different transcoding settings such as automatic DVD Transcoding, CBR and VBR.I also set “use maximum render quality”. But all results were always the same: very poor quality.
Why does the encore transcoding cause such bad video quality?
How can I solve this problem?
    Please help me soon.
    Best regards.

    Hi Ann,
    1) I did not only „Automatic (based on source)“ options in my tests, but also many other customized options.
The results are very poor. I have done a new test with the following settings. The result is also poor:
    Download link: http://www.klavierlehrer-bayern.de/download/test_mpeg2dvd_1.m2v
    Export Settings:
    Format: MPEG2-DVD
    Preset: Custom
Codec: MainConcept MPEG Video, Quality: 5
    Frame Rate: 25 fps
    Field Order: Upper
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Automatic (based on source)
    Render at Maximum Rate: [active]
    Bitrate Encoding: VBR, 2 pass
    Minimum Bitrate (Mbps): 5
    Target Bitrate (Mbps): 9
    Maximum Bitrate (Mbps): 9
    GOP Settings
    M Frames: 4
    N Frames: 12
    Use Maximum Render Quality: [active]
    Multiplexer: None
    2) Why shouldn’t I use the “Match Sequence Settings” in exporting? Because of the big output file size?
I used it and the results are very good as I expected:
    Download link: http://www.klavierlehrer-bayern.de/download/test_MatchSequenceSettings.mpeg
    Export Settings
    Match Sequence Settings [selected]
    1920 x 1080, 25 fps, Upper, Quality 50
    User Maximum Render Quality: [active]
    3) I tried also Dynamic Link in PremierePro (to Encore).
    The results are also poor.
    4) I will test also LagarithLoslessCodec and frameserving +DGMPGDec. But the video is vertical long drawn-ot.
I think I did not use it correctly.

  • Download of CS4 reports failed Adobe Encore/Premiere/ends  Error 1603 AdobeColorComm Set RGB.

I purchased Adobe Premiere PRO CS4 a couple of years ago and have had some excellent results.
However, since my PC crashed and following a Healthcheck at PC World that found nothing wrong with it apart from a suggestion that I should upgrade my 64MB video card to 256MB when I load the programme (two discs) Disc 1 stops to advise Adobe Encore and Aobe Premier Failed and after Disc 2 I get an advice that optional components failed to install correctly and some functionality may be limited, getting a Failure Message AdobeColorComm.Set RGN Error 1603. Fatal error during installation.
At first, I quit when Disc 1 highlighted the failure but on subsequent attempts I have proceeded, but two factors immediately arise when I start to use CS4 which were definitely not there before since I need the facilities:
an ability to bring down to the Sound line ONLY sound - it seems odd that the Video post of additional lines is functional
an ability to bring down to the Sound line music on either MP3 or WAV format
One thing that PC World did suggest was to download a Driver from www.Nvidia.co.uk and whilst I went on the site with this in mind:
I was unsure which type of driver to download
a warning came up that Nvidia drivers were not recognised by Adobe / Windows as being compatible - and so I did not proceed
As you can imagine, it is all very frustrating - thankfully I do not currently have a queue of brides awaiting their wedding videos but I have got two major projects relating to a male voie choir.
My PC in an HP 9500GT XP Professional 32 Bit.
We have taken off all programmes, cleaned, put back the programmes but still the problem persists - last week-end we followed the guidance notes of Options 1 and 2 but to no avail despite removing temporarily System Color Profiles in accordance with the instructions.
    URGENT HELP REQUIRED PLEASE !
Please can someone tell me what we have to do in order to overcome the problem?   I had considered an upgrade to CS5.5 but see that this requires a 64bit PC.

No need to be afraid. Microsoft has stopped certifying drivers for Win XP years ago. Whichever reasonably current one you will download, is probably going to work...

  • Am I able to get Adobe Encore if I have a single app subscription with Premiere Pro CC

I have a single app subscription for Premiere Pro CC 2014 and I wanted to author a Blu Ray disc. Am I able to use Adobe Encore with this subscription? It seems I keep getting this dialogue box when trying to start up Encore: Adobe Encore Cs6 cannot run in trial mode. Please relaunch the application and provide a valid serial number.

If you installed Encore from the Premiere Pro previous version options, then see this:
If Encore CS6 in cloud install asks for serial number:

  • Adobe Encore with single app purchase in Creative Cloud?

    Hi Adobe Community.
I Am very much interessed in the Adobe Encore app from the Creative Suite. I understand Adobe Encore works with Premiere Pro, so i was wondering if i bought  the premiere pro app only, as a single purchase, would i then be able to use the Encore app? I know you could buy the whole package of adobe Creative cloud app's, and then get access to Creative Suite app's as well, but is it a possibility to get the Encore app with an single app purchase? Because buying the whole package of Creative Cloud is a bit too expensive for me unfortunately.
I hope i have expressed myself in an understandable way.
Thank You so much for helping me out.
    -Joachim Meinert, Denmark.

When you have Premiere Pro Cloud, you may also download Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6
CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 has the information on Encore CS6
The bottom section of the link above has several Adobe links, and other information, on downloading Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6, and the TWO ADDED downloads for the Encore library content, to author a DVD or BluRay... and the tutorial list includes learning how to use Encore... pay particular attention to the picture in reply 3 at this link - Is encore included in premiere cc 2014?

  • Adobe Encore has stopped working

Hey a,, I'm a CC user but downloaded (as per Adobe's advice) the old (CS6) version of Premiere which comes with Encore CS6.  Uninstalled Premiere so i was left with just Encore, but it won't even start at all - I immediately get a 'Adobe Encore has stopped working' when starting up the programme.   Any thoughts, anyone?
    APPCRASH / Adobe Encore.exe / Version 6.0.2.4 / Fault Module MSVCR100.dll / 10.0.40219.325
    I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 with Service Pack 1.
    thanks,
    Geoff.

This is not a common error. I suspect a missing/corrupt file, but do not know.
I would un/reinstall. This time, even though it should not matter, leave Premiere CS6 installed, at least until all is working.
I do not know what the recommendations are for using the uninstall cleaner when doing a limited uninstall like this for CC users.

  • Adobe Encore has accountered an error [..\..\src\AMEPrestProber.cpp-265]

    Hi all,
I have used the CS5 (CS Production Premium) for four years and it has worked fine. Mainly edit High Definition, file based video (SDHC). After editing, I use the Dynamic Link to Encore to create my project and burn to Blu-rays.  Accept, since two weeks ago, all of a sudden, I cannot open or create new projects from Première Pro CS5.
The Dynamic Link takes me to Encore and then it comes up with the following message and then closes:
Adobe Encore has accountered an error.  [..\..\src\AMEPrestProber.cpp-265]
I have tried opening just the Encore and then import timeline from my Première Project, but to no avail.
I have also, deleted and reloaded Encore from disk and updated, but still not working. I am puzzled and cannot seem to get help from Adobe as it direct me here.
Whilst, I managed encode the timeline sequences from Prem Pro CS5 to Adobe Media Exporter and then imported encoded file into Encore, it seemed to take 12 hours to encode, whereas with Dynamic linking way, I am able to create project, much, much faster.
Would really appreciate some help from knowledgeable people.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Stan,
    Thank you for your response.
I meant 'Uninstalled'. Just the Encore and Pre Pro, but no the whole Production Premiums Suite. Should have I uninstalled the complete Production Prem and re-install?
I don't understand the 'Cleaner' bit? I will  be happy to try this, if someone tells me what it is and how I can locate it.
Yes, I am the Adminstrator and the only one using the PC.
I did encode the time lines in Prem Pro to .H624 Blu ray and then used these. But took too long in Encore.

The first time you try to open it, it could take a minute or so, but if you have waited 10 minutes and gotten nothing, then there is a problem.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application?

  • Adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem

    Hi,
I got this message after importing about ten or so H.264 files that I encoded from Adobe media encoder.  "adobe encore the software that's used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decoders for the file you are working with may help correct the problem."
The files we're shot with HD cameras.  Edited in Premiere Pro CS3.  I installed the update 3.0.1 with still the same error.
I also tried a brand new project and after about ten or so files being imported into a timeline, the system crash.  I tried this twice....
        Thanks in Advance

    Hi Hunt,
Here is the skinny.  A window base PC.  footage shot with HD sony HD cameras,  Project imported to Premiere CS3.  Once completed sent file to Adobe media encoder and render them as H.264 widescreen high Quality.  Imported them to Adobe Encore CS3.  After about ten files or so.  I got the error message.  Did all the basic trouble shoot like restarting the computer, got latest patch.  Even build a new test project with the same problem.
Something else I read in the forums, is the encore will transcoded the project to Mpeg 2 anyway, after looking at my project I realized those few files were indeed untranscoded.  So it will be a double compression and I dont want that.  So, my new question is, what is H.264 good for ?????????? I was research that Mpeg 2 is a faster render but H.264 is a slower render but better quality.....
       what do you think ????
       Peter
