How do I collected all the SMS from iPhone to Mac. Besides these paymentprograms. And I have no previous backup that I can get it from.

This is amazing! Pick out everything I need from the iPhone. Just what I've been looking for a long time, but did not find anything I liked. So started to see if I could pick out one and one thing ... Definitely worth the money. Thank you Julian!
PS. I fully support the payment thing, but theres allot of legal free programs aswell, so just wondered =)

Photo Stream will only transfer photos taken in the last thirty days.
Connect your iPhone to your PC and transfer the photos manually.

You don't. File transfer, by Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone. To import pics/videos in your camera roll, read here:

  • How can I transfer all my info from my old mac to a new one?

how can I transfer all my info from my old macbook to my mac mini?
My Mac mini chash about one month ago and I got it back from apple, I didnt have a time michine back up for this one but in my old mac I have almost all my files, so I want to transfer all the data to the Mac mini with no problem

You can use migration assitant which is located in the Utility Folder under Applications. The compters can be connected via ethernet, fire wire, or wifi. My recommendation is not to use wifi.
You run migration assistant on both machines and you can choose to transfer everything or just data.
Another way is to use migration assistant to restore from a time machine backup.

  • Is there a way to transfer SMS and iMessages from iPhone to Mac, without paying for a 3rd party program?

Ive Googled a few site that have free programs but all charge to transfer files. ive tried "iMacsoft iPhone to Mac Transfer" and that failed. Is there an easy way???

You can take screen shots of the messages on the iPhone, and then transfer the Camera Roll screen shots to your Mac.

  • IPhone 3G Cannot create mail account from IPhone.

Cannot create Pop email account from IPhone. Keeps asking if I want to try to create the account without SSL, whether I answer yes or no. I have to create the account via ITunes.
    Any ideas?

No error msg. Just keeps asking over and over again, if I want to try to setup the account without SSL. If I answer yes. It try's again for 2 min, the repeats the question. If I say no then it takes me back to the config screen for the account where I can select cancel. Never creates the account or give error msg.

  • How do I transfer all my stuff from my old mac to my new one?

got a new macbook pro today, how do i transfer all the information from my old macbook to this new one? I don't really know what time machine is other than it makes backups, so will time machine help me accomplish what im trying to do? if not, what else can i do that is inexpensive.
    thanks!

Simplest is to startup the new machine and when the setup assistant asks if you want to transfer stuff from another computer, say yes, hook up the old one, and follow the instructions. Any other procedure, and there are many, are more time-consuming and don't do the job any better than that. BTW, that should be described in the little manual that came with the machine.

  • All contacts gone after deleting old Outlook (exchange) mail account from iphone.  How to get contacts back?

I deleted an old company mail account and when doing so it deleted all the contacts on the iphone.  How can I get them back?  Can I do a restore where I import ONLY the contacts?  Or does Restore just overwrite everything?
When I connect my phone with itunes and go to the "Info" tab, it asks me if I want to "Sync Contacts with Outlook" where outlook is a choice from a dropdown menu.  The question I have is what contacts are stored on itunes, if any, and which way it will write them --->  phone to itunes or itunes to phone.  Since my phone contact folder is empty right now, I want to get these back from itunes.  I am hoping those outlook contacts are stored on itunes and can then be downloaded to my phone, but I do not want to do a complete restore as the last time the phone was synced was a long time ago and contacts will be lost.  If the sync writes an empty contacts folder onto itunes then the restore will not even be an option.  Just want to make sure I do not overwrite any contacts that are stored on itunes.
By the way, icloud for contacts was not on so I do not have that route of recovery.
    Help.

Exchange contacts exist only on the Exchange server, and are automatically deleted when the account is remove.  This is standard security policy of Exchange accounts.  They would not have been backed up to iCloud in any event.

  • Open an old mail account from a new mac

My late lamented MacBook Pro suffered Death By Coffee. Fortunately the primary HD was undamaged, so I had a tech put it in a USB enclosure and now I can boot up "my computer" from any mac later than something like 2009.
This has however become tedious. Turns out, the only two things I still do on "my computer" that involve actually running software there, are itunes and mail. With itunes I can launch the app, hold down the option key and select my old itunes library...and off I go. There doesn't appear to be any similar capability for mail however.
Am I missing this, or is it not currently possible?
    Thanks!

If at all possible avoid having more than one Store account.  You cannot transfer purchases between accounts and having maintain two accounts is a comp[licated mess.
The best way to get music on the computer is to copy it from the old computer by copying the whole iTunes folder to the new computer, start iTunes with the option key held down and guide it to the transferred library.
Purchases will transfer from an iPod to a computer but not items you did not purchase from Apple.  If you absolutely must do it that way you will have to buy third party commercial software.

  • HT1296 transfer entire media library from iphone to mac

Apple doesn't provide information on how to transfer entire media library (music, movies etc...) from Iphone to itunes.
My macbook hdd failed and now I have all my media on iphone only.  Have been trying to figure out how to copy everything back to Itunes.
So far I found some apps that cost around $30, but for this one time job that is not a solution.  Free app or a way in itunes is what I'm looking for.
Thanks for your help in advance!

    Solution found!
There is an app called "Imacsoft iphone to mac transfer"
It tranfers up to 100 songs each time.  Just make sure you don't exceed those 100 songs, because then the app locks to 1 song each transfer.
Also full version is reasonably priced at around $18

  • Can I somehow copy mail attachment from iPhone to Mac?

    Hello.
I would like to use my iBook in work (Im really really tired with PCs). Problem is, that all files I use are on PCs. I cannot connect directly to our work network, nor I can use internet connection here.
I can either use flash disc to move files. But I have other prefered way in mind. I would like to send files from my work PC by mail to my iPhone (thats the easy part using Edge) and then get these files to Mac (not through internet). Is there a way to do it? Through wifi network connection, blue tooth, cable connection? I didnt actually tested it yet, but I dont think Mail in iPhone would for example easily synchronize with Mail in iBook just by connecting iPhone to iBook with cable.
    Any advices? Thanks.

Maybe I should more specify what Im talking about:
I need to move files from PC to Mac and back, so I can distribute them through internal network. I cannot connect to PC with Mac (admin doesnt allow that), my Mac doesnt have internet connection here. I can use the flash drive for file moving, but Im looking for something more sophisticated (if its possible).
I would love to use Mac/PC soft Dropbox, but I cant install anything on my PC (admin doesnt allow that). So I was hoping that:
    1) I could send/recive files via mail and get them through iPhone - PC Outlook -> iPhone Mail -> Mac and Mac -> iPhone Mail -> PC (using wifi connection between Mac and iPhone, cable, blue tooth, whatever) or
    2) I could somehow use iPhone with its Edge connection as a modem for iBook (which would be totally best, because I could also use "slow" edge connection ,with my unlimited data plan, for web browsing etc.
