iTunes is not allowing me to transfer music that I haved loaded from a CD into iTunes on my PC from my iTunes into iPad. How do I do that?

If you mean .wma files, sure. But you have to import them into iTunes before you can sync them to your device. All music has to go through iTunes.

I would do that by transferring my existing notes on my iPad into an iCloud account. You would set up an iCloud notes account on your iPad (Settings > iPad). Another way would be to wait for iOS 8 and Yosemite. Once these two new operating systems are released, Apple has said you will be able to use AirDrop to move information between iOS and OS X devices.

There is no way to transfer the music from one device to the other without using iTunes. Have you tried to recover your ID and password?

If at all possible, keep the pc alive. You will need a place to backup your stuff that will not go to the cloud. If your pc supports the current version of I tunes, then load it up and make that your central storage place. If your problem is simply lack of disk space on the pc, external USB drives are pretty cheap.
In any event, you will need I tunes to get the non purchased music o to your pad, so you will need a pc at some point.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

You cannot. They both sync to your computer.
All of your msuic should be on your computer. Sync it to your ipad from your computer

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just this reason.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipad. The only exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases

It is important to make a backup of your iTunes Music Library. In case of data loss, including hard drive failure or replacement, accidental deletion, and so forth, you'll be able to restore it from your backup.

Can't transfer all music to iPhone 4 running on iOS 8 latest

In the process of changing music on my iPhone 4G, I noticed that not all music I had intended to transfer made it. On the iPhone the music does not show up at all but on the directory on iTunes on my computer, the songs are listed, but in grey and preceded by a dotted circle, i.e., they have not been downloaded to the iPhone. At first I thought it may have to do do with me recently having changed my e-mail address and iTunes ID, but there is no rhyme or reason to why some songs are not being transferred. Having said that, it does appear that if one song in an album does not transfer, the entire album doesn't transfer no matter whether the music was purchased prior or after the ID-change. Only about 10% of the files I moved are affected.
I erased all the music on the iPhone and started from scratch again and I reorganized the iTunes library to no avail.
Can anybody enlighten me as to what is going on here and how to work around it?

Thanks. No, I'm not sure. I remember that I may have physically connected my IPhone at some point to another authorized computer that had songs from other sources and songs originally downloaded from another old Itunes account that I no longer use. I think those songs did sync from the other computer to the Iphone. Is that possible? Is there any way to get those songs from my Iphone to my computer?
