Transfer apps from one Apple ID to another

I received an iPad (3rd Gen) for my 13th Birthday. Eager to get started, I used my mother's Apple ID as I thought I was still too young (13 is the youngest you can be to have an Apple ID). I have now created an Apple ID of my own and want to know if I can transfer the Apps bought on it to my new ID. I know that I can transfer songs by putting them on a disc, but am unsure if I can transfer the apps I've bought.

Actually I beleive you are mistaken. that process will only change the existing AppleID, not create a new one.

You can transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
To make the new computer the syncing computer you have to:
- Transfer iTunes purchases lIke I described above
- Make a backup of the iPod on that computer by connecting the iPod and then right-clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
- Restore the iPOd from that backup
She will have to continue to use your iTunes ID to update the apps prchased with your account. To use her account she will have to log into the computer with her account (iTunes>Store) and change the sign in on the iPod by going to Settings>Store.

My mom bought some songs with her Apple ID that I want to transfer to my own iTunes library. I've done this before because I got a bunch of music from my dad's Apple ID that I had bought when I was sharing with him, but now I can't figure out how to do it again. I have the iCloud, so should I just delete my iCloud account from my iTouch and log in as her to get the music, then delete hers and log back into mine?

Is it possible to transfer purchased songs from one Apple account to another? I have some music on my account that I have downloaded for someone who did not have an account. Now, they have an account, and I want to transfer their music to their account. I don't desire access to these songs anymore.

Hey guys,
I'm planning on creating a new Apple ID due to an email address change, but am worried that doing so will prevent me from reinstalling any purchases I have made with my old Apple ID.
Does anyone know a way to transfer my purchases from one Apple ID to another permanently?

It is not possible to merge two iTunes accounts.
Do yourself a favor, do not create a new iTunes account, simply update the account information for the one you already have.

I have always used my sisters iTunes when buying music and apps as I never really needed my own and well it was cheaper buying it into one account than do it separately. However now I am off to uni, I would like my own apple ID for my new mac and hopefully iPhone. We obviously need separate accounts now but I still want the music that's on hers. When I got my first Ipod several years ago my parents created an Apple ID, or whatever it was called back then, so I could download music. This is where about 90% of my music was downloaded from. When I got my Iphone 4S just over a year ago I created my own Apple ID with my own email address. I used this ID to download more music. I used this ID to sign in on my laptop and I downloaded some music from some CDs and other non-Itunes material. However it will not let me sync my Iphone to this ID because it says it can only be synced to the other one and in order to sync it with the one under my email address I have to clear what is currently on my Iphone in order to sync with the small material on the Itunes library under my email address which is stupid because then I end up losing most of my music downloads. What I am wondering is if there is a way to transfer material from my parents ID to mine so all of my stuff is in one place without having to clear my Iphone.

useless sabotage is right you cannot move purchases between Apple IDs.
What you could do is to authorise your laptop with your old Apple ID
Store > Authorise this Computer..
Then transfer all the old purchases from your old computer to this one so they are all in the same itunes.
Connect up your iPhone 4 to the new machine. Yes it will ask you to erase. Go ahead and erase then as all your music is on the iTunes for this machine you can resync it but still use your new Apple ID for future purchases.

You will not be able to Transfer anything from your family's Apple ID to your New Apple ID.
Anything Purchased / Downloaded using the family Apple ID remains Tied to that Apple ID.

You can't merge two IDs. If you're talking about music, video, etc. that you bought at the iTunes store, then you can't copy/download one file from one account to another. Same thing with icloud.
