Just purchased new computer (desktop). Laptop overwhelmed want to change cloud account and to new PC. How is this done? Thanks

You can activate your CCM on the 2nd computer without much ado. Simply install AAM and let it handle things liek on your other machine. If you want to disable your otehr machine completely, run Helüp --> Deactivate in any program and simply sign out of AAM, then uninstall the programs from the Add or Remove Programs system control panel...

I am trying to transfer Acrobat 9, which I downloaded for the initial installation, to a new computer I just purchased. Adobe no longer has a link for downloading anything older than Acrobat 10. What would be the best way to transfer the application betweeen machines?

As long as you have the license key, you might be able to use the download process described in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1061905. A quicker option is to copy the download that you should have on the old computer. You should always backup such downloaded software. Almost no companies maintain indefinite archives of such.

iCloud does not store messages for you to see/access at icloud.com. It does back up messages so you can restore your iPhone if it ever needs to be reset to factory default. A backup is an image of all your data on the iPhone, and if you delete some messages, then they won't be part of any further backups.
If two people use the same iCloud account, then their devices are kept in sync, just like a single user's multiple devices are kept in sync. It's usually a good idea to have separate accounts for two people, since it's rarely the case that they want each phone to be an exact replica of the other.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

Just install it like you did the first time (do not try to transfer it from the old machine in any way) - you can download thru your account if you purchased it as a download originally - otherwise there is a link for downloading below. Your serial number should be available thru your Adobe account online if your registered the software previously.

If you like you can leave it on the first machine as a backup because you are allowed to have two activated installations. If you wish to remove it from the older machine you should deactivate it first (open an application and choose Help -> Deactivate).

Launch iTunes with the iPad connected to your computer.
Select the iPad under Devices in the source list left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Summary tab from the menu.
Deselect: Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi
Quit then relaunch iTunes.

In the Finder use the Go Menu > Go to FOlder and type in ~/Library/keychains
Click the login.keychain once to Highlight and then from the Finder's File Menu do a Get Info (CMD and I Keys together)
In the Info Panel go to the Bottom and see if you Own the File
(Open the Padlock and then the cogwheel icon and your shortname should be there greyed Out about making you the Owner).
In the list above that you should be listed with Read and Write permissions.
If you don't have Read and Write permissions you will not store any new password.

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know that account password, the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.

Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but you won't be able to unlock the Keychain.
