Transfer Config between Different Boxes
Hi,
We need to transfer complete configuration from one SAP Client (Development client) to another and both the clients are in different boxes (Server) in order to bring configuration in both the boxes in sync.
Kindly suggest the best practice and the process to be followed.
Regards,
Ghanapriya
We can transfer config between systems by migrating table data. We need to identify all tables to be migrated to other systems and upload them in destination system. Basis team will be the best contact to migrate standard tables data.
Thanks.

Transfer config between different UC520
i have exported the config from a UC520-16U-2BRI-k9 (IOS "15.0(1)XA3a") and tried to import on a UC520-8U-2BRI-k9 (IOS "15.1(4)M6").
UC520 iss booting, i can access via CLI an CCA so far ...
But the phones dont boot anymore, MSG in Display: "Downloading XMLDefault.cnf.xml".
The file exists on the cf-card, i also tried to put the cf-card from the first UC520 into the second -> same result.
Is it because the different IOS version?
Can anyone give me a solution or a hint or better show me a working way to ex- and import the configs?Hi,

Transfer Prices between different departments in the medical center
Hello,
Here are internal service sales between different departments in the same medical center. For example: Radiology center/department sells X-rays services for the cardiology center. We need the ability to sell a service to a different department in a different price than to an external payer/customer/insurance provider.
Is it possible to implement profit center transfer prices along with the ISH_CO integration?,
How is it getting along with the posting of internal activity allocation when services transfer to Controlling?
At standard the costs are allocated (by means of internal activity allocation) between profit centers. The responsible cost center (assigned to the performing organization unit) is credited and the case based order (which is assigned to different profit center) is debited.
Is it possible to implement transfer prices in case the performing organizational units are connected to the same profit center? (because some of departments are subdivided to several medical organizational units; and each unit represents a different cost center at the same profit center/department).
Do you recommend defining a different profit center also for each sub-department?
Do you have any other proposed solution for this issue?.

How to transfer data between different nodes of the same context.
Hi experts,
I am working on an application in ABAP webdynpro in which i want to copy data from one node to another node in the same context of a view and both the nodes are mapped with different nodes of context of component controller. How to code this. Please help.
Thanks and Regards.
Vaibhav Tiwari.Hi Vaibhav,
you are in the wrong forum.
BTW: Copying value of nodes is done automaticcally if you connect the nodes.

How to transfer data between different tables in an Oracle 10g databse?
I have to do the following: there are 5 database tables in our Oracle 10g database that store certain data. Then there are 2 new tables where we want the data to go to. My task is to somehow transfer all the data that is in the first 5 tables and insert it in the 2 new ones. All tables are in the same database. The challenge lies in the fact that the structures of the tables are very dissimilar so it won't be a matter of a simple INSERT SQL query.
The data access tier of our application is developed in JAVA. We use EJB. So one way I am thinking of doing the above mentioned data transfer is to simply code it in the JAVA backed. But that might be to slow, there are millions of records in those first 5 tables. What is the best way to do something like that? Perhaps a custom (Perl?) script or some such?
Thanks. The problem is that the way the data is stored in the old tables you cannot write a query that would return it in such a format that you could immediately insert it in the new table without some formatting. Let me illustrate with an example. To pull the data from the old tables I use this query:
SELECT
SXML_DOCUMENT_DATA.VALUE As DocumentValue,
SXML_ELEMENT.NAME As ElementName
FROM
SXML_DOCUMENT,
SXML_DOCUMENT_DATA,
SXML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL,
SXML_ELEMENT,
SXML_TYPE
WHERE
SXML_TYPE.XML_TYPE_KEY = SXML_DOCUMENT.XML_TYPE_KEY
AND SXML_DOCUMENT.XML_DOCUMENT_KEY = SXML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL.XML_DOCUMENT_KEY
AND SXML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL.XML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL_KEY = SXML_DOCUMENT_DATA.XML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL_KEY
AND SXML_ELEMENT.XML_ELEMENT_KEY = SXML_DOCUMENT_DATA.XML_ELEMENT_KEY
AND SXML_TYPE.NAME = 'DA_UNIT_COMMITMENT'
AND (SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'resource'
OR SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'resourceType'
OR SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'commitmentType'
OR SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'startTime'
OR SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'endTime'
OR SXML_ELEMENT.NAME = 'schedulingCoordinator')
ORDER BY
SXML_DOCUMENT.NAME,
SXML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL.XML_DOCUMENT_DETAIL_KEY,
SXML_DOCUMENT_DATA.XML_DOCUMENT_DATA_KEY,
SXML_ELEMENT.NAME;
The results from the SQL query above look like this:
DOCUMENTVALUE | ELEMENTNAME
1 | ALAMIT_7_UNIT_1 | resource
2 | GEN | resourceType
3 | BRS8 | schedulingCoordinator
4 | IFM | commitmentType
5 | 2008-07-29T18:00:00:00 | startTime
6 | 2008-07-30T00:00:00 | endTime
7 | ALAMIT_7_UNIT_1 | resource
8 | GEN | resourceType
9 | BRS8 | schedulingCoordinator
10 | IFM | commitmentType
11 | 2008-07-29T00:00:00 | startTime
12 | 2008-07-29T04:00:00 | endTime
and so on. The type of data repeats every 6 records. And the values of each 6 records corresponds to 1 row in the new table, which looks like this:
schedulingCoordinator | resource | resourceType | commitmentType | startDate | endDate
1| 1 | 27 | GEN | IFM | 2008-07-29T18:00:00:00 | 2008-07-30T00:00:00
2| 1 | 27 | GEN | | 2008-07-29T00:00:00 | 2008-07-29T04:00:00
So hopefully now you see the challenge. It is not as simple as writing a SQL query that returns result rows corresponding 1 to 1 to a row in the new table. Somehow I need to take the first 6 result rows from that big SQL query and put them in the first row of the new table. Then the next 6 and put them in the second row and so on. And also, we are talking about millions of records. What happens if I process the first 2 million and then some error occurs? Do I start from the beginning again? One idea I have is to process the data in chunks, say process 500 results, commit, process another 500, commit, and so on.

How to transfer mailboxes between different feline species
I use two iMacs: the main one at home, and a secondary one in my office. When they both used to run Leopard (10.5.8), I was able to transfer mailboxes from my main iMac to my secondary iMac, so that my secondary iMac had all the email messages that I received on the main iMac. I copied Mail folder in Library from the main iMac, and copied it to the same location in the secondary iMac. When I started Mail on the secondary iMac, all the messages that I received on my main iMac were there.
Now I upgraded my main iMac to the latest model, running Mountain Lion (10.8.5). I found the "hidden" Mail folder, by using "Go to the folder: ~/Library/Mail/V2/". But when I copy the Mailboxes folder from this location, and copy it to the Mail folder in the secondary iMac (still running Leopard), replacing the "Mailboxes" folder inside it, none of the email messages that I received since I switched to Mountain Lion (and Mail v6) shows up, only messages that I received when I was still on Leopard (and using Mail 3.x).
My question is: How can I resume what I used to do, and transfer mailboxes from Mail on Mountain Lion to Mail on Leopard? (Before you ask, no, I don't want to upgrade my secondary iMac to Mountain Lion, because that would be too cumbersome and costly on an old machine.) I just need to know how I can transfer messages that I receive on Mountain Lion Mail to Leopard Mail. Thanks.Okay, I have now properly exported the mailbox on my Mountain Lion iMac, transferred the exported mailbox to the Leopard iMac, and properly imported the mailbox, all within the respective Mail application. The export appears to have gone smoothly, judging by the size of the mailbox. And the importing procedure also went through all the right motions, but when I open the imported mailbox, it's completely empty. It doesn't even contain the messages that I received before the switchover, as happens when I copy the mailboxes folder and transfer it to the old iMac. So, either way, it doesn't work, but properly exporting and importing mailboxes appear to be worse.

[SOLVED]Simple file transfer between different os'es
Hi
I'm searching for some kind of simple file transfer between different computers/os (mainly arch and windows) on local net, without I have to set up any samba/ftp server etc. It would be perfect if i could select a file I want to transfer and then be able to receive it on a different computer.
So far I've tried giver but I most of the times they can't find each other.
Any know how I could archive something like the a bow?
Thanks

- Note your host IP (which I refer to by "ip.of.your.server"),
- Go under your directory where you want to share files and fire a command line :
Using python : python2 -m SimpleHTTPServer 8000
And you can access your files on the network using http://ip.of.your.server:8000/
Using php : php -S localhost:8080 -t webrootpath/
Files under webrootpath/ will be accessible from http://ip.of.your.server:8888/
Using mongoose : mongoose -r . -p 8888
Files will be accessible from http://ip.of.your.server:8888/
You may restrict access, ie.: -l -0.0.0.0/0,+10.60.100.105
And have access/error logging (à la apache) too : -a access_log.txt -e error_log.txt
NB.: You may install python or php under windows but mongoose is the easiest thing when it comes to windows -> linux.

Use of SAP memory to transfer data between two different sessions.
Hello experts,
I wish to know how to use SAP memory to transfer data between two different sessions.
The scenario is that when I run a report and change a variable, the value of changed variable should be availabe to another user on another terminal.
Thanks & Regards!
SumitHello,
Just to add what Max has already mentioned. IMPORT TO / EXPORT FROM DATABASE statements can be used to store data in special "cluster" tables (you can't use any DDIC table) e.g., INDX.
@OP: You can opt for Shared Memory(SHM) for this specific requirement as well. In my opinion SHM is a bit tricky to code, but it is easier to monitor. The opposite holds true for "data clusters".
You should remember SHM is app-server specific. So if you've a load balancing scenario, using SHM can cause problems.
Hope i'm clear.
BR,
Suhas

Outlook 2013 change email boxes (views) between different users
When using outlook 2013 on my workstation, there are several different test accounts that have been setup. However can you show me how to switch between the different email accounts?
Hi,
Did you set the different test accounts in same Outlook profile or separate profiles?
Seems you have setup them in separate profiles, if this is the case, we can switch between different email accounts by changing the Outlook profile. To do this, open
Control Panel, locate and click Mail (32-bit), then click
Show Profiles button, switch the profile by changing the
Always use this profile drop-down menu.
In addition, we can start Outlook using the /profiles switch to open the
Choose Profile dialog box each time Outlook opens. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type
outlook /profiles and press Enter.
Or, we can use the /profile profilename switch to load the specified profile. If your profile name contains a space, enclose the profile name in quotation marks (" ").
If I've misunderstood something, please feel free to let me know.

Does anyone know if I can transfer apps between my 2 apple ids? I have different ids for my iPhone and iPad?
You can't, all content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't merge accounts nor transfer content between them.
