Transfer consignment plant to plant 2 steps

Dear Experts,
I have the scenario where i need to transfer the consignment stocks from one plant to another in 2 steps. because the plants are far away and every plant have his own storekeeper with his own authorization. i dont want to use 301 because this will make me give the storekeepers access to all other plants which is not right. i also don't want to transfer the stocks to own stocks and then do the transfer because the plants are actually showrooms and we dont know if we will sell the consignment stocks or no. moreover we have the retail is. we are selling directly from consignment stocks only if we have not any own stock available. i have read all the previous posts but cant i add in the movement type 303 305 special stock K.
please give me solution
thanks in advance

Hi,
In case of standard price procedure (price control “S”) in material master, the system carries out all stock postings at a price defined in the material master. Variances in price are posted to price difference accounts.
In your case, Change material 'X'  to Price $ 8 inn Plant B and then do transfer posting for material
OR
Change price control in both plant to Moving average price(V)
NOTE:
Moving average price (price control “V”): The system valuates goods receipts with the purchase order price and goods issues with the current moving average price. The system automatically calculates the latter upon every goods movement by dividing the total value by the total stock quantity ( Total Value/Total quantity).

Please guide me about below mention process :
Capital goods transfer from one exciseable plant to another exciseable plant with updation of RG23C register.
    Goods purchase in prev month.

Company code to company code u have to treat the another company as Vendor/Customer in each company code books. Then the process is same.  Sale order, delivery and billing to the Customer(2nd company code i.e. stock receiving company code).  Then in receiving company code based on the delivery document of other company code GR can be made. and IV.

    Hi,
Is there any standard report for  stock transfer from plant to plant .
If not is there any enhancements to get the above report.
    Regards,
    Ravindranath.

    Hi Ravi,
U can use the tcode MB51 and their u can give the input as 301 if it is 1 step in the mvt type or use 303 and 305 for 2 step transfer. and generate the report.
if u want the list of stock transport orders then use tcode ME2N and the input parameter as  item category "U" and generate the report.

  • Stock transfer plant to plant

    hi,
while doing stock transfer from one plant to anoather(same company code),
if the spit valuation is active for the material, system is throwing the error that u cant use 303 and 304 mvt type, and insist to use 301 or STO.
ours both plant are situated in different areas, please let me know can i go for 301??
i tried with 351mvt, but while doing the migo_gi of issuing plant, it asks for purchase order(STO), but in the MIGO field i dont find PO field to mention, can any body please help.

    Hi Suresh
It seems u r in total confusion, first will try to make ur question simple:
    1) You want to transfer stock from one plant to another within a Co Code.
Ways u can do it: 1) One step procedure using mvt type 301.
    2) 2 Step using mvt type 303 and 305. so from where mvt type 304 is coming.
u use 301 to transfer from Ures to Stock in transfer and then from stock in transfer to unres of rece. plant u use 305.
    3) if plants are in different area best way is to use STO.
ur receiving plant should raise a STO against issuing plant.
then ur issiong plant should use 351 to tansfer unres stock to stock in transit.
and finally rece. plant will do a GR 101 mvt type.
and in MIGO against the transaction field u have to select the STO/PO and then enetr the valid STO number ..execute.

  • Delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant 311

    Dear all,
I need to create a delivery without reference for stock transfer within the same plant, movement 311,  i.e. just from 1 storage location to another storage location.
I tried to use VL01NO with delivery type UL.
Now my question is how can I assign a receiving plant for a customer?
I can't do the MIGO or MB1B document because I need the delivery document (packing list, forms, Texts,...).
    It's possible this option???
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
What is the item category you are assigning while doing VL01NO?  Check the schedule line category for that item category assignment.  That Schedule line category has an option for one step GI.  There you can assign 311 or create a separate item category and schedule line category and in that SC assign 311.
    Thanks
    Krish.

  • Plant to plant transfer in Q status

    Hello,
Can someone please provide the steps to configure movement type to allow plant to plant transfer of stock with Q status? Can this be accomplished with custom movement type configuration or a user exit is available? Please advise.
    Thanks,
    avi

    Hi Avi,
    have you tried Transaction QAC2?
I think you should be able to move Plant stor. loc. to Plant stor. loc.
Edit: You will have to make sure that QM has been set up for the receiving plant as well.

    Hi Satish,
You can see open stock transfer quantity in MB5T and stock value in MB5L. If you want to make stock transfer, there is two types intra company transfer(with in same company code) and inter company transfer (different company codes).
Steps for Intra company stock transfer:
This is only within the comp.code(w/o SD)
(w/o SD) 351101 MvT. and (with SD) 641101
    1. Mat.(1434)should be maintained in both the plants.(@1000&1100).
    2. Should have enough stock in supplying plant(1000).
    3. Make its supplying plant as a vendor in vendor master record in receiving plant(1100).
    4. Make it receiving plant as a customer in customization.
Create customer (xd01) & and define the shipping data for plants in both the plants.
Path: spro u2013 img u2013 material mgmt u2013 purchasing u2013 po u2013 set up STO u2013 define shipping data
    (1 by1 )
    In Receiving plant (1100)
    Customer num. 123345 (for ex.)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    In Supplying plant (1000)
    Customer num. -
    (don't fill)
    Sales org. yyy
    Dist. Channel yy
    Sales div. y
    5. Assign doc. Type is "NL" for intra company STO. If STO is inter company, Assign doc. Type is "NLCC".
    Position doc type is "UB"
    Enter supplying plant(1000) & doc type (NL)&checking rule (ex:01)
6.Assign doc. Type is "UB" to u'r plants.(PO)
    Go for new entries
Enter supplying plant(1000) & Receiving plant (1100)&doc type (UB).
    7. Create a PO, choose the doc type is 'UB' & item cat.'U', Enter supplying plant as a vendor in PO of the receiving plant(1100).
    8. Provide this num (PO) to SD people, they will do the delivery by using transactional code is VL10B.
    9. Sales people they will provide "out bound delivery num".
    10. Do the GR. In GR the second tab 05 outbound delivery instead of PO mov.type 101.
    11. See the stock overview in the receiving & supplying plants.
    Steps for Inter company Transfer:
    1) Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure, In Customer Master, sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
    2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
    3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
    6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group, Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination, Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receiving Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.

  • Stock Transfer of Blocked Stock Plant-to-Plant

    Hi..
I have an issue regarding Stock Transfer of blocked stock from one Plant-to-Plant.
I realize that blocked stock cannot be transfered directly.
But the issue here is that if we cannot transfer the blocked stock directly, that means we have to do transfer posting from blocked stock to unrest use then stock transfer using mov type: 301. Then in the destination plant, we transfer again to blocked stock.
If this is applied, then it will potentially raise other issues related to incorrect stock transfer by the other users once the material is released to unrest. use.
So, in short, that's why we need to have direct stock transfer scenario for this issue.
    Kindly have your assistance
    Thanks in advance
    Albert

    Hello Albert,
You are correct. We can not transfer blocked stock from one plant to another and you have to follow the same steps which you already mentioned.
As per the business logc, We can not move "Blocked" (Business term: Rejected/scrapped/spoiled) material out of our business unit except Retrun to Vendor or Scrap it. so it is also not logical to move "THAT kind of Stock" to another plant.
    Hope this helps.

  • Transfer blocked stock between plants.

    Hi everyone !
Pls. I need to transfer blocked stock from plant A to plant B.
The point is stock must be blocked in plant A and then I have to transfer to plant B, but stock must always be blocked just to avoid the selling process.
Thanks a lot for help !
    Regards.

if you want do it with SD deliveries, then the answer is: not possible
    but pure MM movements........
By changing the field selection for movement type 325 you can open the field 'receiving plant'. this will then allow a plant to plant movement of blocked stock. Whether you should do it or not is of course up to you.
I doupt that it is possible to do a 2-step movement for blocked or QI stock, because the 303 post the quantity to transfer stock. And transfer stock has no sub categories like QI or blocked. It is on the same level.
There is an OSS note 448761, it is for another transaction, but it might help you a bit to understand.
amongst other things following is said:
There are not two-step movement types for blocked stock since no stock in transit, quality inspection exists .

  • Stock, plant to plant Transfer with a Profit Margin

    Dear Experts,
Before raising the question let me explain a little about the existing process and configuration in a nutshell.
We have one company with two business areas(identical with Plant, used from the point of Org unit, We are using BA to get BA wise P&L and balance for selected BS GL a/c),  also we have activated Profit center accounting but not used PCA from org. unit point of view but and alternative perspective it is used.(Product category wise)
BA1(Plant1) produce product most for the use in to BA2(Plant2) and we use STO to transfer such stock from Plant 1 to Plant 2.
as per this scenario Stock Cost is being transferred from BA1 to BA2 and we re-post the related indirect cost(admin cost) also from BA1 to BA2 to arrive at Profitability of BA1.
Now the business has identified some practical issues because cost which are related to BA1 can also be re-posted to BA2 and BA1 will show up a good bottom line while BA2 will bear unrelated cost. Also the inefficiency in production at plant 1 is also not that easy to analyze due to the current method.
Business wanted to avoid this but since both plant are in same company code we are unable to follow the stock transfer from plant to plant with Delivery and Billing,
Finally, Business has requested below that they want to do the transfers with a marginal profit to plant 2(BA2) and Material Cost(COGS) will remain in plant 1 and when BA 2 use it such stock will be posted in consumption.
is this process logical according to the SAP process and can we get the result by activating transfer posting. Is there any alternative method that we can fulfill the requirement.
    Pls. advice.
    Thanks in advance .
    Aziz

    Hi Parth,
Thanks for you idea.. I refer below MM plant to plant transfer methods, Stock transfer from plant to plant can be done in different ways as i have learnt.they are mentioned below.
Stock Transfer Between Plants in One Step
Stock Transfer Between Plants in Two Steps
    Stock Transport Order Without Delivery
Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping
Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing Document/Invoice
The Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing Document/Invoice -  cannot be done between same plants in a single Company code it referes to Cross company transfers only
follow below thread to learn about it further
Stock Transfer Using a Stock Transport Order - Managing Special Stocks (MM-IM) - SAP Library
but i'm not clear how you are doing your SO-PO transaction in same company code between plants.
Can you share me more information on this if you have.
    Rgds,
    Aziz

  • Plant to plant stock transfer in same company code

    Hi everyone,
I want to know the process for stock transfer between plant to plant in same company code.
    Regards
    Prabudh

    http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/html/J51_IntProcSTwD_EN_IN.htm
In a company, goods movements do not only occur in the form of goods receipts and goods issues. Depending on the organization of the company (for example, decentralized storage) and its sales policy, internal stock transfers might also be necessary.
The stock transfer with delivery is a plant to plant scenario. You are posting a goods issue in plant BP02 and a goods receipt in plant BP01.
This type of stock transfer can only be carried out from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant to unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant.
You post the placement into storage at the receiving plant in a second step. Only then is the event completed and the transferred quantity part of unrestricted-use stock.
    Function List
The following functions are provided to support the J51 building block:
    Creating a Planned Independent Requirement
Creating a stock transport order in plant BP01
Generating a delivery in plant BP02
Picking of the material and posting the goods issue in the delivering plant
Posting the goods receipt in the receiving plant
    Key Points
The quantity posted from stock is first of all managed as stock in transit of the receiving plant. Only once the goods receipt has been posted is the quantity posted to the unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant. This enables the quantity "on the road" to be monitored.
The transfer posting is valuated at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant.
Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.

    Rajesh Banka

  • Stock transfer to Non-Excisable Plant

    Hi All,
I need to confirm the understanding for this scenario. Our client is doing stock transfer from manufacturing unit to non-excisable plant (same company code) but they do not update RG23D register. they post excise invoice during such stock transfer to non-excisable plant but when they sale from there to customer , they do not pass on any excise duty. I could see numerous threads for STO in CIN but they are all with Depot sale with RG23D getting updated. Am I missing something or is there a way to handle this in SAP?
    Thanks
    Binita

    Hi Binita,
There are two types of scenarios in case of STO's from manufacturing plants to depots.
    1. STO from manufacturing plant to exciseable depot:
From sending plant PO->DELIVERY->PROFORMA BILLING DOCUMENT->EXCISE INVOICE.
    From receiving plant(Exciseable depot) GOODS RECIEPT->CAPTURE EXCISE(RG23D REGISTER UPDATION)->SALES ORDER->DELIVERY DOCUMENT->DISTRIBUTE EXCISE(DEPOT EXCISE INVOICE & RG23D UPDATION)-> BILLING DOCUMENT.
    2. STO from manufacturing plant to non exciseable depot(e.g Ware house or CFAs)
From sending plant PO->DELIVERY->PROFORMA BILLING DOCUMENT->EXCISE INVOICE.
From receiving plant(Non exciseable plant) Goods receipt will be done & the duties will be inventorized in the purchasing price. No need to update any registers. Excise values will be loaded on to the material cost.
    Hope its clear now.

  • Transfer from plant to Plant

    Hi guys,
    My scenario.
    I have two plant A(Customs warehouse) & B(Manufacturing Plant).
Generally i will be importing materials to plant B whch is a manufacturing plant.
In some cases  i will raise the purchase order from B plant and if need to brng the material to Plant A,I amend the PO to plant A.
I can keep the material in Plant A upto 90days without paying Duty.
I need to pay the vendor within 30days.
After paying duty  i need to transfer the material from plant A to B.
If i  make an STO order the material master price is being picked.
I need to add BCD,ECESS ON BCD & HCESS ON BCD TO THE MATERIAL COST and transfer the material to Plant B.
*The material master price should not be picked.*
Is there any way  to transfer the from plant A to B without using STO route.
    regards
    murugan

    Hi,
Please mainatain a seperate pricing procedure for imports ( stock transfer from bonded warehouse to manufacturing plant).
In that assign these condition types in the procedure .
Then in vendor master of that particular pant(Internal Vendor) assign the schema group.
    regards,
    Vijay
