Transfer contacts from Google account with "@" to one without

When I set up my mom's Pre, she already had a Google Reader account. That account is "[email protected]". Now, she'd like to use her PC to maintain her contacts. Unfortunately, Google won't let her sign in to Gmail if the username as an "@" sign in it. That precludes us from logging in to the old account to export the names for import into a new account.
I've set up a new Google account, and I've linked it to the phone. I was hoping that would be enough to sync between them. As I'm sure the vets here know, that didn't do it.
Does anyone know an easy way to get the contacts out of the old Google account and into the new one?

Well, they hadn't backed up their contacts (or anything on their phones) before activating their new phones. We now can't find a way to use Backup Assistant from the old phones (all are LGENV2s). We do have the USB cable to connect the phones to our PC. We'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Thanks. I paired them, and tried to send "namecard" (checked all the contacts), but the other device (iPhone 4s) isn't connecting. Any ideas?

You can actually use Bluetooth to transfer contacts! Just make sure they are paired together.

I have two email accounts sycned with my iphone and each account has seperate contacts also synced. I am closing one email, but I would like to merge the contacts from this account with the remaing account. Does any one know how this can me done? Thanks

I am currently running two email accounts on my iPhone 4s.
Both accounts have email/contacts/calendar synced to the phone so I can have all contacts on the phone.
I now have to close one of these accounts due to work but I would like to keep all the contacts on the account I am closing, on the iPhone.
Does anyone know how to save these contacts to my phone so I dont lose any?

In most countries, music and apps can be downloaded for free in the iTunes/App stores if you log into the new iPad using the Apple ID with which you used to purchase them. The same goes for most films. You can also sync the old iPad with a computer and then sync the new one with the same computer, and restore it from the backup you made of the old iPad.
If you have notes and emails on the old iPad, go into 'System Preferences' and make sure they are saved into the iCloud. You can then retrieve them from the cloud by logging in to the same email/iTunes accounts on the new iPad.

I just bought a new Macbook and want to transfer everything over and wipe my old Macbook so the kids can have it. I have an external hard drive, that has photos etc. on it already. When I try to do a Time Machine back up, it tells me the drive is not formatted correctly and that to complete the back up, it will have to erase everything. I can't move the photos back on to the old Macbook because there isn't enough free disc space. So, I don't think I can do this with Time Machine. How would you recommend I transfer the data over? Use Migration Assistant during the setup of the new machine. Connect both machines up to a wired network if possible and follow the instructions. It's worth running software update on the old MacBook first as there was an update to Migration assistant for OS X 10.5 and 10.6 published recently.

We only have 1 single domain, 1 domain forest, no subdomains, only alias. I had replied to the other post as well. But I am happy to paste it here in case anyone want to read it.
So, after a few months of testing, capture and sending logs back and forth to Apple Engineers, we found out there is a setting in AD, under User Account that prevent us to log into AD from Mountain Lion. If you would go to your AD server, open up a user account properties, then go to Account tab, the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" option is checked. As soon as I uncheck that option, immediately I was able to log into AD on the Mac client. Apple engineers copied all my AD settings and setup a test environment on their end and match exact mine AD environment. They was able to reproduce this issue.
The bad part about this is... our environment required the "Do not require Kerberos preauthentication" is checked in AD, in order for our users to login into some of our Unix and Linux services. Which mean that it is impossible for us to remove that check mark because most, if not all of them some way or another require to login into applications that run on Unix and Linux. Apple is working to see if they can come up with a fix. Apparently, no one has report this issue except us. I believe most of you out there don't have that check mark checked in your environment... Anyone out there have any suggestion to by pass or have a work around for this?

You can't. Not directly anyway. You might be able to import them to your computer and then sync them to the iPad but there is no way to transfer them over the air or by connecting the two devices with a cable.

I have a coporate Google Apps account as well as a personal one. I'd like to have address completion available in Mac OS (mail, calendar, etc.) for corporate as well as private addresses. However, as soon as I add a second Google account to the Mac OS Contacts app, the first one disappears and the default account switches back to "local".
Is it possible to use two Google accounts with Mac OS Contacts app?
Well, actually I'm already happy if I can use my private account as the account for storing addresses, etc and only use the corporate Google Apps account as a directory for look ups (read-only).

Yes, You can Install a WEB Browser app. I think "Web Lock" is great app. as it has a password option too.

I tried posting this before but no one answered. I dont currently have an iphone (or any smartphone). I do have a Mac and I have my contacts in the Mac Address Book (not in an email client like Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail)

From what I saw, it said what other people have told me - which is it will sync contacts from Google (Gmail) or Yahoo...so that doesnt mean it will sync contacts directly from an Android phone's contact list. All the manual said was you sync thru itunes.
It looks like what I should do at some point is manually input all my contacts into a new "clean and unused" Gmail account...Unless there was an easy way to transfer my Mac Address Book to a Gmail Account.
It seems like if you have contacts in a Gmail account, it will be easy to transfer anywhere.
Im starting to wonder if an Android would be bette than an iphone anyway. Considering the nightmare time Ive had with a Mac in just a few months, Im surprised Im even still considering another Apple product.
