Transfer Contacts to lotus notes

HI All,
I am trying to transfer contact infomation from coldfusion
page to lotus notes for clients using lotus notes. Does any one
have any idea or link to any site that has activeX or XML transfer
information for doing that?

EDIT - scratch that last comment. I just googled myself up a
wk4 file format - its definitely not plaintext. possibly
postscript? Your best bet may be to:
1) Find a custom tag that already does the heavy lifting -
have you checked the adobe CF exchange?
or
2) Find a plaintext file format that you can import contacts
with in lotus and use CF + <cfcontent> to create/serve your
data to the client.

Pim Sync issues Lotus Notes 8 to Oracle OnDemand

Hi All,
when i try to pim sync lotus notes contacts to oracle ondemand, the contact in lotus notes gets imported as an account in OnDemand.
Anyone know why? or even better how to fix the problem

PK, in the company profile check the checkbox called "Disable PIM Sync Account Association".

Iphone calender import / sync lotus notes / google calendar

Hi!
I am chasing at the moment several possibilities to get my lotus notes calender and contact data into my iphone (eventually with googlecalendar). Does someone have a hint how to import or sync these data without installing software on my computer, or if its not possible which is the best software for that use?

I used Companionlink to export/sync my calendar and contacts between Lotus Notes and Google. Then used the iPhone's builtin software to sync with Google. Work fine. www.companionlink.com
Best solution though, if you have a Notes server, is to install IBM Lotus Notes Traveler. It is a free add-on to your Notes server and will give you push email, calendar and contacts on your iPhone.

Can't transfer my contacts from device to Lotus Notes Curve 8900

Hope someone can help. I have 2 address book databases on my device. One is called Address Book (0 entries) and one Address Book-All (460 entries).
I need these contacts to be transferred to my Lotus Notes Address Book.
When I sync, the desktop messanger tries to sync with the Address book with 0 entries.
I also tried the back up feature. I backed up the Address Book-All and then cleared both. Then when I re-loaded the backed up file, it transferred all to the Address Book-All. When I looked at the synchroniation log file (text file) it is mapped to the Address Book (0 entries).

I noticed now what's going on
After the iOS restore, I created the new Apple ID, my iPhone was configured to use the new Apple ID.
Buut, I restored the backup (that I made using the iTunes while the iPhone was using the old Apple ID) and this backup also configured my iPhone to use the old Apple ID, and I purchased these two apps using the old Apple ID (I thought I purchased them using the new one)
That's why I can't transfer this apps to the iTunes library, because I purchased using the old Apple ID and my iTunes is configured to use the new Apple ID.
Solution: Delete these two apps and purchase them using the new Apple ID, correct?
PS: I created this new Apple ID because the old one got all the five authorizations and I really don't remember what computers I did this, and I've deauthorized all computers less than a year ago, so I only can do that again in one year..

For the Contacts I'm using the free App "MyContactsBakup" (or MCBakup), it works just fine on my iPhone 4.
It works for pics too I guess. It is reliable, it process and send a .vCard file attached to a mail with all your contacts (and/or pics, etc.).
You can import the contacts anywhere iPhone, Mac, PC, etc. I'm happy with this.

Synch Gmail Contacts via and Lotus Notes Contacts on BES

I currently use Wireless Synch to synchronize my Lotus Notes Contacts to my Blackberry Bold 9900 via a BES.
In addition to the LN account, I also have a Gmail account active on my Blackberry; however, the Contact Synch and the Calendar Synch features are both turned off (for the Gmail account) at present.
I would like to synch the Gmail Contacts and Calendar to my BB, but I am unsure whether this would impact my Lotus notes Contacts Address Book or my Lotus Notes Calendar. I have already had one incident where my Gmail contacts were intermingled with my Lotus Notes contacts and I want to keep them separate.
Can someone please explain what behaviour I should expect if I enable synch for the Gmail Contacts and Address book? Will this create separate, new address book and calendar (i.e. separate from the Desktop ones used with Lotus Notes) or will it merge the Gmail contacts and calendar with Lotus Notes contacts and calendar?
Also, please explain the differences between the Contacts synch and Calendar synch in the built in BB Gmail application and Google Synch App. Why would one use the later?
Note: In case this is relevant - I also have a Playbook with O/S 2.0 that is configured to access the Gmail account in fully synchronized mode. At present, the LN account is only accessed via BB Bridge on the Playbook.

Lotus Notes and Palm Contacts?

My Blackberry 8830 was activated to use my corporate Lotus Notes email. However, I want to add my personal contacts, which I do not keep in Lotus. Currently they are in Palm Desktop v 6.2.2.
Is it possible to have my contacts/address book on my Blackberry separate from my Lotus Notes? Thanks!

Hello Klynch,
If I understand you right you would like to move your palm contact into your BlackBerry and at the same time not have the BlackBerry replicate with your Lotus Notes.
If that is the case then all you should need to do is turn off the Wireless Synchronization option in your address book on your BlackBerry. Once that is done you can use the latest Desktop Manager software to transfer over your contacts from the Palm to your BlackBerry.

E61 Lotus Notes Contacts Sync Corrupted Database

Sometimes the contacts data base on E61 E62 where corrupted during sync with PC Suite, I found a "(" on some phone field on Lotus Notes contacts database, the "(" must be the unique caracter on the field, then the sync fails allways.

I don't know what happened, but one of a sudden, on Monday afternoon, everything worked back ok again.
I was about to show to a friend the famous message "cannot retrieve mail's body", but then the mail's body was retrieved from God knows where and it came direct on my pre screen.
5 minutes before it didn't work, 5 minutes later it did work.
I didnot change anything to my profile or pre or my lotus account.
I just don't understand why this worked again.
The only difference I can think of, but I am not 100% sure, is that when I "transfer" a mail to someone else; the message I send is truncated generally just after the list of the mail recipients;
Sorry not to be able to say more than that, but it is weird for me too, how did it come to work?!?

Can not transfer contacts from Nokia 1020 Windows Phone to Mercedes C. Windows Phone states that it is only voice connection when trying to transfer data, and if sharing, Mercedes will not show up as bluetooth device at all. However Merceds show Noika as a device. I tried other phones and they work, smart phones and not smart phones. What to do?

Can't upload contacts from my nokia n8 to SkyDrive via nokia suite 3.8.48. i choose Instruments - upload to skydrive. then i log in my live.com account, then click "yes" for accses to my data and... nothing happens. initail "copying to skydrive" blue screen with only "later" button available. reinstalling nokia suite, rebootng my phone doesn't help.

Lotus Notes Contacts not updating properly

A user with an 8703e is having trouble updating contacts wirelessly on the handheld.
When a contact is edited (like add a new phone number) on the Lotus Notes Client version 8.02 and a replication is done the update does not take place on the handheld.
However if a new contact is created that update does take place.
We are using BES version 4.1.5.24.
The handheld is using software version 4.1.0.377

You can tell what account they are in by opening Contacts, tapping Groups, then selecting your non-iCloud groups one at a time to see the contacts that belong to each non-iCloud account.
Let's assume that they are scattered across multiple iCloud accounts as you stated. To get them all in iCloud, do the following:
Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (they will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup to your phone. (You'll need to get the "Pro" version if you have more than 500 contacts that you need to copy to iCloud.) Use this to backup the remaining contacts on your phone (from the other accounts) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section), set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap each of the other accounts that you are syncing contacts with (such as Gmail) and turn off contacts syncing. This will prevent having duplicates when you re-import them from the backup your made earlier.
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from the other accounts back to your phone. They should be in iCloud, and as a result, will sync to your other devices.
