Hi
i want exemple to transfer any data from client system (800) to another 810.
havve anyone exemple to do this.
thinks
hello friend,
we have 5 diff ways ok sending data from one sys to another which method the reqmnet is ...
but any method we need do some confrigaration for that
we need create idoc segments(WE31)),idoc types(WE30),messages types(WE81),
if u want clear on this go for tcode WEDI->Deveplopmwent-> u fill find the tcodes and process in that tcode.
5 diff types
sending data 1) using tcode,
2) using FM

Transfer data from dot net to sap system
Hi gurus!
please , help me out , i wanna transfer data from dot net to sap system. i have no idea abt it.
Points can be given sure!!!!!!
Rahul DeshmukhHi,
You need to create a RFC(Remote Function Call) to achieve this.
Goto Transaction SE37
Import Parameters(What all data you are going to pass from JAVA to SAP)
EXPORT parameters(What all data you want to pass from SAP to JAVA)
TABLES parameters (What all tables you want to pass from JAVA to SAP)
Goto Attributes tab & select Remote Enabled.
Do the coding to insert records in ZTABLE.
Activate the RFC
Now, in JAVA code to login to sap & call the RFC with the required data.
Best regards,

TCODE - check entries between different clients?
Hello all,
Is there in SAP a t-code that we can CHECK the entried from a table between different clients?
Thanks & Rgds,
AmandaHi,
You can use FM RFC_READ_TABLE to read table entries in different client(s).

Want to transfer data via idocs from one R/3 to different R/3
Hi!!
May i hav nay step by step pdf which gives the complete flow of how to transfer idocs from from one R/3 to different R/3.
Though i have the basics steps but some where I m stuck.
Also I have two doubts::
1.Is thr Any relation bw port name and Logical System name? Can they be same.??I hav kept Logical System name as SAPE60 AND PORT name also as SAPE60(in e60) and SAPEI6(in ei6) servers respectively.
2.Should the Logical System names be maintained same in both the servers??
Kindly respond .
Helpful answers will be rewarded points!!!Hi Deepika ,

How can i transfer the xml files between different systems?
hello
the appearance of xml enable the inter-communication between differences systems.but
i don't know how,such as following scinario:
in the client side,we use the console that is written by using c#,if i finish
filling the text boxes that are within the console, click the submit button, the
console will generate a xml format document.i want the other application that
is written by using jsp and servlet and deployed in weblogic server to receive
the xml document, then process the document.
but i don't know how i can transfer the xml files between the two applications
that is written in different languages? can i use http protocol?
thanks for any helps!Yes, you can use the HTTP protocol as a transport for the XML message, this
is basically what the HTTP binding for SOAP does. The key is using a
packaging mechanism that different applications will understand, otherwise
only your own applications will know how to extract and process the XML
messages you send between them.

Client copy between different operating systems.
Hi Experts,
Our production system is running on HP-UX OS. We are installing a standby quality system and planning to do a client copy to this system from production by taking this into transport domain. But this new system is in windows. So, is it possible to perform a client copy where the source system is HP -UX and target system is windows??
Regards,
Amit.Hi Amit,
Follow SAP Note 552711 for client copy. Refer to qns no 4 & 5, which is relevant for your question.
Can I create client copies in a heterogeneous system landscape?
Remote copies or client transports can also be carried out between different database and operating systems.

Massive copy of BW transformation between different source system
Hi all,
in my BW I have different source systems. I have mapped several objects to one source system.
Now I need to copy all the transformation to other source systems. These source system are different instance of ECCs, there are the same extractor in all the systems.
I can't use the BDLS becouse these move the transformations between the system not copy it.
I try to create a Transport and using the Conversion of Logical System Names but this change only the objects with source sytems dependencies, it don't change the technical name of transformation, and do not create a tranformation to the new system but overwrite the existing one.
Do you know if there are some program or some procedure to copy transformation between sourcesystem in BW?
Thanks in advance
MarioHi,
you can do a Retrofit (System copy), Generally, retrofit happens between two different BW systems.
check with your basis team if the retrofit is possible with in the same BW system but for different clients.
Note : System copy will overwrite all the objects.

Problem with RFC call between different clients. Plesae help!
Hi Experts,
I have a RFC enabled function module in one SAP instance 'A' where the client is 130. I am trying to call this function module from another SAP systen 'N' where client is 220. RFC destination has been set in 'N' system.
The RFC functin module pulls data fromm a custom table. For a given input it is puuling data in 'A' system.
But when I call it from 'N' system with the same input it is not pulling the data.
I feel the problem is with teh different clients.
please help me how to resolve this.
Is there any setting in RFC destination?
Thanks
GopalHi gopalkrishna,
1. Is there any setting in RFC destination
Ofcourse there is.
2. The tcode is sm59.
3. Where u have maintained in system 'N',
we have to specify
a) Server 'A'
<b> b) Client Number 130</b>
4. So while calling from N(220),
it will connect A(130)
and fetch data from A(130) only.

Edited by: pravin kk on Feb 21, 2008 12:53 PMHi,
The communication via web service may have advantages, if you want communicate with non XI systems.
In your scenario, there is direct communication between XI engines, so you can go for XI adapter. The XI adapter which is normally used to configure the exchange of messages with in an Integration Server, canbe extended to exchange messages between the two Integration Servers in the scenario.
Please verify if if you have the common SLD for both XI systems. its preferable to go for seperate SLDs
Check out the similar threads, XI to XI scenarios:

Hi,
I need to send Idoc from SAP system(A) to SAP system(B).
In system B i need to store data in custom table.
Correct me for below settings
in system A
1) define RFC that point to system B
2) define port in WE21 that point to above rfc
3) maintain partner profile for outbound idoc in Logical system in WE20
4) trigger IDOC
Now IDOC is sent to system B
In system B
1) maintain receiver port in IDX2 that has system A clinet and RFC pointing to system A
2) maintain inbound partner profile for the same idoc with a Z process code.
write code inside Z process code to save data in custom table.
Now i am not able to Z process code as it says ALE settings not maintained. i created new FM ...assigned it to a z proces code in WE42.
what other steps should i do.
Also my other doubt is if another user maintains for the same message type another process code will 2 idocs get generated in system B whenever i trigger idoc from system A..which i dont wont to happen...is there a way to stop it.Hi,
It seems that your ALE configuration is not done properly. Check your logical system setting with both System A and System B. then RFC destination with Tcode SM59. After that you go ahead with your logic and Z program. it will work.
As you ask you dont want others data then you shoul check with your function consultant that they use there data and if data is no longer useful you remove that one eith block that one.

Sending e-mails between different SAP-Systems with SMTP
Hello,
I want to send e-mails between two different internal SAP-Systems. I already configured SMTP in both systems but ist not possible to send an e-mail from system A to system B. I've got following error message:
Cannot process message; no node determined for <sapuser>:
Thanks in advance & best regards,
ChristophHi Christoph,
but it is possible that the email for user from System B is also available in the system itself(transaction so01) and not only in his outlook inbox?
As the email is sent from System A. It will be available under SOST of system A.
As user in System B is receiving the email, it will be appearing in users inbox.
Check with Mail server administrator on where to enable SMTP relaying for IP address of SAP server.
Hope this helps.

Difference between different Technical systems
Please tell
We can define a technical system as :
Web AS ABAP or Web AS JAVA or Standalone JAVA or Third party or
Exchange Infrastructure
What is Web AS ABAP system? What is Web AS JAVA system? What is standalone JAVA?
Thanx in advance
HarshHi Harsh
Web AS ABAP
Web AS ABAP technical systems, ranging from any SAP system to an APO server or CRM server, are based on the same Basis Component (BC), which includes the ABAP interpreter, ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Workbench, and so on. A dedicated database, which stores most of the data of the BC and the application components, is associated with the system.
Web AS Java
Web AS Java systems consist of one or more instances and each instance is installed on a separate host. An instance itself consists of cluster nodes that can communicate with each other.
Standalone Java
Standalone Java technical systems are standalone Java applications that are installed in a computer system from an administration perspective. They can also be installed as an operating system service or as a daemon.
Third-Party
Third-party technical systems contain third-party software components and products.
Third-party systems are not automatically registered in the SLD. Therefore, you have to create them manually by creating:
Third-party products
Third-party software components
Third-party technical system
Third-party business system
Exchange Infrastructure (XI)
XI technical systems are the infrastructure systems (such as integration servers and adapter engines) of XI.
Cheers...
