Transfer dormant CS5 license to nonprofit?

My company has downsized and no longer uses all of the licenses we've purchased. I'd like to transfer one of the dormant licenses for CS 5 (I think) to my synagogue for their use. Please advise how to do this -- I used to see all of my licenses/purchases listed when I went into a section named "purchases" on Adobe.com, but that's apparently no longer available. This section also told you which ones had been downloaded from the Adobe site and had links in case you needed to download them again. If transferring a currently unused license to the synagogue is possible for them to upgrade to CC version, how would I obtain the license number so they could register the copy in their name and download the applications? Any suggestions are appreciated.

So after reading this I'm a little confused. Before CC, I had licenses for several PC versions (desktop, two laptops) and one mac version. I now use the mac exclusively (though it is running parallels, too), but retrieving at least two old PC serial numbers would be problematic -- one laptop sunk with my houseboat last year and the desktop's power supply recently died. I keep the other old PC laptop for emergencies. Additionally, my former business partner took the copy we bought for her with her laptop as part of our separation agreement, so what I'm seeing in the link you sent is that ALL of my licenses (including my former business partner's) are wrapped up into my current CC license and that if I give an old one away to the synagogue and some calamity happens and my current CC expires, I have to buy a mega license again? Also one of these began as Photoshop 2.5 in the dark ages and I'm not sure which one -- the explanation regarding upgrades seemed important, too.
I just want to make sure before I do this. Thank you for your help.

Hello Adobe guys, i need some help. I bought two years ago an Illustrator CS5 License. for that time we were using an imac 10.5.8. Nowadays we have made a clean format to the computer. and all old programs are gone, also we update the computer to Mac OS X 10.9. My issues now is that i get an Adobe Illustrator CS5 Trial version, and i want that one to work properlly as a full version. I got my license code in front of me, but whenever I try to provide it to the software it says "This serial number is not valid for this program" and we need to work with that one because is the one we bought. Is there anything I can do now?

If you bought second hand, there should be (or should have been) a licence transfer through Adobe.

Upgraded hardware, and went from XP to Win7 - how do I transfer/install CS5 onto new SSD hard drive?

I recently upgraded all my computer internals; new mobo, Samsung SSD (solid state drive), CPU and ram. Also went from XP Pro to Win 7 Pro, with Win 7 Pro now residing on the new solid state drive. I still have the old 1TB Serial ATA hard drive connected as a storage device, and this is where CS5 resides. But of course, my CS5 applications are now unusable.
Can someone please give me some guidance as to how to transfer the CS5 installation from the old HD (XP Pro) to the new SSD (Win 7 Pro)? I started doing some research, and read about first "deactivating" CS5, but I cannot open any of my CS5 applications to "deactivate". So I am stumped. I am reticent to attempt a new install from my CS5 disks until I learn the proper process..........
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Can I transfer my educational license of PS CS4 to another computer?

I was provided with an educational license of PS CS4 some time ago, which I installed in my old computer running Mac OSX 10.6. Now I am changing of computer, running Mac OSX 10.8. I tried to install my license in my new computer, without having deactivated it in my old computer, but I had to cancell the installation because it required Adobe Air. When I entered the user license in the set-up installer, everything went ok. After having installed Adobe Air, I tried to install the license in my new computer, but I had not the choice of installing PS CS4. Then, I deactivated my license from my first computer and I tried again, but no option, neither to install nor to deinstall is available at the set-up installer.
I am wondering if this problem is a consequence of not having deactivated my license from my first computer or of the impossibility to transfer an educational license between computers. If the former, what can I do to solve it? If the latter, will I have any problem if I buy a new license and try to install it in my new computer, as a consequence of having tried to install unsuccessfully another license previously?

Finally, I have been able to deinstall the remaining components because I have seen the Adobe deinstaller in Utilities. Once I have deinstalled, I have tried to reinstall the software again. The CD asked for the license number, everything went ok, but the issue came in the middle of the installation when I got the following message:

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 on a Windows 7 laptop. I would like to change to Dreamweaver CS6 on my Mac running Yosemite. Can I transfer my CS5 files from the Windows computer to the Mac and will CS6 be able to work those files on the Mac? I do not need nor want a subscription account. Just the stand-alone program for occasional tweeks to my web site. at www.longwayhome.com.
It is a realtively simple web site that requires only simple editing from time to time.

Yes, your files in CS5 are just .html, .css, .php and .js files, there's nothing that makes them "CS5 versions" of those file types.
You can do it a couple different ways, but the easiest would be to copy the folder being used as the root directory (and all of it's contents) from one machine to the other, then on the new machine, simply set up a new site definition, using that newly copied folder as the local root.
If you want, you can export your site settings (FTP and whatnot) on the old machine...
Go to Site > Manage Site> click the site you want > Export
Copy the resulting .ste file along with the local root folder to the new machine
On the new machine go to Site > Manage Sites > import to bring in the .ste
Relink that new site to the newly copied root folder

How can I transfer Photoshop CS5 from my macbook pro running Maverick to my iMac that is running Mountain Lion

I have been trying to figure out how to transfer Photoshop CS5 from my Macbook Pro to the my iMac. The Macbook Pro was running Mountain Lion until I updated a few days ago to Maverick. The iMac is sill running Mountain Lion because when I went to update to Maverick it let me know that I would not be able to run Photoshop CS3. Under normal conditions I would not be concerned, but I don't have the Photoshop CS5 disk anymore to install it, so hence my problem.
I tried backing up to time machine and that did not work, I tried a transfer using firewire and it transfer the problem but then when I try to open it on the iMac it is looking for the serial number.
I would appreicate any help on resolving this.

The HD will probably have to be removed from the MacBook Pro and connected to a USB adapter or placed in a dock to get your data off of it. I would take the MacBook Pro along, the folks at the Apple Store should be more than happy to help transfer your data to a new iMac.

I am having trouble to find my creative suite web premium cs5 license. I work at a global company and my IT technicians are asking me for this, so they can re-install my web premium suite. Yes. You first need to deactivate Photoshop on your old computer by going to help>deactivate on the main menu bar. Then you just install on your new computer and put in your serial number.

You can only have 2 activated copies. If you deactivate PS on old computers first you will be fine to reinstall on new computers.
