  • Issue regarding refreshing transaction iview

    Hi gurus,
    the issue is,
end user has transaction iview and url iview ,
transaction iview is created using GUI for windows, so that he/she can enter any transaction.
SESSION_MANAGER is the tcode assignd to  enduser in transaction iview,
the problem is ,if user is using SE38 and then he click on url iview tab in top level navigation and click on transaction iview tab or refreshes the page then the transaction in transaction iview comming back to SESSION_MANAGER.
client need same transaction to be displayed even after refreshing page or navigationg to other tab.
    Regards
    K Naveen Kishore.

    Hi Naveen,
If you switch navigate to another iview and then back to your transaction iview, or refresh the portal page, you restart the iview with all its initial settings - including transaction. It seems you want to somehow suspend the state of the interaction with the SAPGUI, even between openings in the portal window. That's not possible.
What you could do is set the SAPGUI to open in a new window (this is always the case if you use the SAP Shortcut File starting technique) - then the user interacts with this window for all his transaction-based work and uses the original window for portal activities. Alternatively create a role structure that includes all the transactions of interest to the particular user group, and have them switch between transactions in this way rather than by entering commands in the SAPGUI command field.

  • How to pass the User Group for a SQ00 Transaction iView

    Hello,
To start off, I am relatively new to SAP technology in general.  I may be missing something obvious.
I am trying to create an SAP Transaction iView in our EP Portal that will call the SQ00 transaction (start query) and run a particular query against our R/3 backend.  I set the Transaction Code to: SQ00, the application parameters to: RS38R-QNUM=<my query> and the OK Code to: SHOW and the System to the System alias for our R/3 system.
My problem is that the query that I need to run is not in the default User Group that comes up by default.  So I get a screen that has the query field (RS38R-QNUM) correctly populated but the error that the query has not been created.  From that screen I can navigate to the correct User Group and then run query.  There does not seem to be a User Group field on the screen, you change it by accessing a different menu, so I do not know how to call the screen for a particular User Group.
Is their an application parameter that I can initially pass to set the User Group?
    Thank you.

And my lecturer is suck, every lectures she just read
the slices and never explains why and how they are.
(If ask her, she talks and talks rubbish and
eventually I get nothing)Maybe you should drop the class and complain to the administration.

  • Restrict the Users from doing Transactions from transactional Iview.

    Dear all,
We are having  some transactional iviews in EP7.0 and ECC 6.0. We want to restrict the enduser from doing transactions by entering the transaction codes.
1.Can we remove the command line
    2.Can we restrict the user
We are using transactional iviews using connectors.
    Reply asap
    Thanks
    Ravi.S

    1) There is an its parameter you add in transaction SICF in the webgui service.  It is something like ~noheaderokcode.
    See here:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_webas620/helpdata/en/96/c09788c65b11d480c100c04f99fbf0/content.htm
    2) Backend authorisations define which transaction codes you have access to.

  • How to disable Transactional Iview for a particular user in portal

    Hi Experts,
    I have a scenario
i have created a user group for all the employees and assigned all the transactional roles to it, now the issue is they wanted to disable the Transactional Iview to particular user for a certain period and enable it later on, how is it possible?
As per my knowledge we have to assign that particular Role individually to all the user, instead of user group and make the iview invisible when required.
Instead of this is there any other Easy Method that i can approach the issue easily?
    Thanks Inadvance
    Siva

    Hi Siva,
You can have two types of groups: one Group with users having access to transactional iview and another devoid of this access.
You can assign users to group with transactional role and vice versa. By the way of user groups, we will have more control over the transaction role access.

  • How to move from one transaction iView to another without losing the info.

    Hello expert,
Is there a way to configure multiple transaction iViews in away that when I click on another iViews and want to go back to the old one, then the information is still there?  For example, we have a customize transaction that is fetched by running CM07.  I want to create two iView (CM07 and the custom transaction) in away that a user will type in the info on the CM07 iView, then click on the custom transaction iView to view the selection from CM07.  However all the information should be there when the user going back to CM07.  Right now when we are clicking from one iView to another, we have to type in the information again on CM07.
    Thank you.

  • Error while Creating SAP Transactional iView

    Hi
I am trying to create an SAP Transaction iview to connect with SAP CRM system, i selected property WebHTML
but i coule notable to connect to that TCode iview.
For this i created a System with User Credentials that will map to the back end system.
It is connecting to the backend system using BSP Application which are presented in the Business Packages.
Wheather ITS should be configured to get this feature.
If so provide me the proper steps to configure ITS.
    Regards

    its path should be
    its path : /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/
or you can leave it blank.
if this is the first time you are running ITS application (WEBGUI).
then go to transaction se80->utilities->settings->Internet transaction server->pulish
choose onselected site radio button and choose INTERNAL
click ok to come out of it.
now choose internet service from the dropdown and enter SYSTEM and hit enter.
right click on SYSTEM and click publish
like wise publish WEBGUI and SHUFFLER services.
now go to transaction SICF and go to
    sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
right click on webgui and click test, which will open the browser and show its screen, if yes.
then you can now check your iview.

  • Transaction iview Unable to Connect to Backend

Transaction iview Unable to Connect to Backend
    Hi guys,
I am new to SAP and i am having several issues.
Right now i am stuck here, in the NetWeaver Portal:
I have created a Transaction iview and a System with Alias "SAP_R3".
When i preview the iview i am getting the following error:-
No user mapping defined for system SAP_R3
    Followed by:-
    404   Not Found
    SAP J2EE Engine/7.00
The requested resource does not exist.
      Details:
Go to main page of this application!
An urgent response will be highly appreciated
    Thanks much,
    B

    Hello B,
    I see two issues here.
    1. User Mapping
    2. The requested resource does not exist.
    For 1,
First go to System Admin ->System Config search for SAP_R3 system and open it and as told before check the user management property.
also chck taht you should get the System SAP_R3 in personalize user mapping option.
    2. The requested resource error can come when the corresponding iview been attached to the role has been moved or deleted.
Request you to clear cache first by system admin -> system config->navigation
    then follow this blog:
Create SAP Transaction iView using SAPGUI for Windows
    Hope this helps!
If not, please update the message accordingly.

  • Portal Transaction iView not opening in browser but its open in R/3 screen

    Hi
    I have 2 senario.
    First Scenario:
I login only into the portal  and  not  login into R/3.  I could access the portal transaction iview in the new broser portal window.  And this is the expected behaviour.
    second senario
I login into Portal as well as R/3 through SAP logon Pad (SAP GUI).
Now if I access  Transaction Iview through portal , this transaction Iview is opened in R/3 side window not in portal browser window .And also same time we can see only new blank portal window iopen n portal side.
My question is that whichever transaction iView we access through portal we want  to see that transaction iView in portal browser window like in first senario  not in R/3 window.
Please help me to resolve this problem

  • Hide Command box in transactional iview

    hi,
I have imported the <b>Best practices for EP</b> package. In the package we have webgui transactional iviews. my concern is when i run the iview i can see the command box and from that i can run other transactions. I want to hide the command box so that user can run only that particular transaction.
using webgui (ITS) this can be done by setting the service parameter ~NOHEADEROKCODE = 1. But when we import the business package where do we need to set this service parameter.
Is there a way to do it?
    Thanks in advance,
    Gopi

    Gopi,
    Are you using V2.60.
You are best to log an OSS message under component

  • R/3 Transactional iViews.

    Hi, Gurus.
I need of your help just to solve any doubts I've got...
-- The first one is about accessing R/3 via a transactional iView. I'm acceding the R/3 system without any problem (and not further nor strange configurations) vía the Windows SAPGui (because the system the customer's got doesnt't support the HTML one) and the menu bar dissapears. Is there any way to fix this meny bar.
-- When you "design" an R/3 Transactional iView, it's mandatory to fill in a transaction name in order to access it during the launching of the iView. The customer wants to force the login screen because they want every one of the user to log on R/3 with their own menus. Can I do that on any way?
-- Can I hide the Favorites of the Portal box according the Role I execute at any moment in the Portal or it's always visible.
    Thanks for all, dudes!!!

    Hi Santiago,
here is a little trick as far as the second point goes - create a transaction iView, give in a transaction code which does not exist and set the user mapping in the properties to user.
When the user has not maintained his login information, he will automatically be first asked to enter his login information (the login screen of SAP R/3). Apparently, after entering the login information, SAP R/3 does not know what to do next (which transaction to call) because the transaction code stays with the iView.
Therefore, the user sees the first menu screen in R/3. I haven't tried it but I have a feeling it should work

  • Transactional iview for "session_manager" not working

    Dear All,
we are creating transactional iview for t code  "session_manager", the problem we are facing is that it is not going to session_manager screen, instead of that it is going to S000 Transaction.
I tried using webgui also, but here I m facing some strange problem, it is using webgui for one user and for rest it is using wingui for others and again going to S000 t code.
Can you please give me some recommendations?
    Thanks,

    Hi Ganesh,
Are the Tcodes "Service_manager", S000 user defined tcodes?

  • Problem in the EP Transactional Iview

    Hi All,
I have created one transactional Iview in my EP and i have provide one T-code of R/3 report. Now when i run that Iview ,first time it will redirect me to the login screen of the R/3 .Then i have to login and then i can use the T-code.
I think when i run my Iview it should redirect to that perticulat T-code screen.
So ,please tell me which setting i have to do so that when i run my IView ,the next output screen will be the T-code screen.

    Hi,
To do so, you need enable single sign on between portal and your R3 system or user mapping  in portal then you will be able to tun transaction as you want through portal. Please check the links below. Also take a look enterprise portal forums.

  • Labels in transaction iview

    Hi
We are facing strange problem with transaction iview.
Field names are displayed instead of labels in transaction iview.
    1. This problem is faced by only one user.
    2. Problem exists with only one transaction iview.
    3. Labels are displayed correctly in development system but not in production system.
    What can be the problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Apurva

    Hi Apurva,
First, I'm a bit unsure what you mean with "Field names" vs. "Labels"?! Are we talking of technical names appearing instead of translated labels?! In this case, is the language of the one user in question different from others?
    Best regards
    Detlev
