Hey guys I have a Neo2 with RAID 0 (two 36GB Raptors). I want to upgrade to a single 74GB Raptor and ditch the RAID. What is the best way for me to do this without losing any data?

Honestly there is no real way unless these are items you have purchased from iTunes. There is an option to Transfer Purchases from iPad but these are only going to be Apps, Music, Videos, etc. that you purchased and downloaded from the App Store/iTunes (you can also do the same by just opening up iTunes on your computer, going to iTunes Store, then going to Purchases, and downloading your purchases).
If they are files that you haven't purchased through the App Store/iTunes then you won't be able to transfer those back to your computer.

Hi guys,
Have recently changes to iMac from PC for my business, but not sure how to tramsfer and view my PC files to the iMac.
Ive been using a seagate external harddrive for my back up and have transferred this onto my imac but not how to view the files as they were on my PC.
Is there a better way to do this?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

There are several ways by which it can be done. There is a special Migration Assistant for transferring an entire user account from a PC to the Mac. You would have to establish a network connection between the two machines.
Transfer the files you want to an external USB hard drive from the PC then transfer from the external drive to the Mac.
Ask the Apple retailer if they will transfer your data to the new Mac at the time of purchase. You will need to bring the PC with you.

Your new MacBookPro has Mac OS X Lion v10.7.x installed on an Intel processor and cannot open or read ClarisWorks files as such.
However, you may be able to reformat to RTF > AppleWorks: Document Recovery Techniques
The issue is going to be migrating files since you can't use Migration Assistant to transfer files from another Mac

Currently, I have a 2012 Macbook pro. I love it, but its kinda slow for me. When I bought my Mac, I didn't realize how much I would use it, so I bought the cheapest 15 inch in from 2012 (2.3GHz 4GB RAM 500GB HD) Now, I'm upgrading to a 15inch Retina Macbook Pro with 2.0 GHz 8GB RAM and a 512Gb HD. When you first start up the new Mac you will be asked to enter personal information, etc. At some point you will be asked if you want to transfer files from another source, including Time Machine back up. Make sure your back is connected, and just follow the directions on the screen.
All formatting etc. will be intact, since TM makes sure it is.
As for perfomance, the biggest performance boost would be a solid state drive. Have you looked at that option?
