Transfer files using Bluetooth

Is it possible to transfer file to the dx from a computer using blue tooth. I have been able to pair the two but the phone says not connected. Does anyone have an idea what I could be doing wrong.---thanks

Mine also says "not connected", but I've still been able to transfer various files, including videos, from my phone to my computer. However, I can not seem to transfer files from my computer to my phone...go figure.

Look in the iTunes App Store, there are both BT and Wi-Fi apps for transfering files of different sorts.
Or you can use an app like Dropbox.

The limitations of the PlayBook are simply unbelievable. Bluetooth file transfer is something I'm used to having and using since the first mobile phone I got, nearly 10 years ago. I guess this is one more "security feature" of the PlayBook. No brains, no tumors, as they say.

You also need to downloand and install the Bluetooth Share app from the Marketplace before this will work for you. Note that the Bluetooth Share app is not available in some countries.

I have recently updated my BB Curve (9300) software from version 5.0 up to version 6.0 Bundle 1478. I tried to send normal files (pics, videos or even music) via Bluetooth to another device (whether PC or another BB phone) but I could not find the "Send Using Bluetooth" option that I used to have on my old software version (5.0). Also when I tried to receive any file I could not find the option "receive using Bluetooth" that was on version (5.0). Is there any solution? How to send files over Bluetooth on the new BB Operating System (6.0)?

Please double check the steps in this KB to ensure you are following them all:

As you discovered, for receipt, there is no longer, under 6.0, the requirement for "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB.

You'd need an app like Skype to video call with other phones.
Data transfer is not supported via bluetooth and iphone to iphone is not supported at all.

My new iPhone 4s paired with my iMac but it will not connect to transfer files by bluetooth. It says the iMac is not supported!

Cannot transfer files using Creative Media Sou

I cannot Cannot transfer files using from my PC to my Creative Jukebox 0GB using Creative Media Source. Since I installed Windows Media Player 0, it seems that Windows Media Player 0 is the only program enabled to transfer files to my creative Jukebox. I would just go ahead and use Media Player, but Media Player won't let me change my library to one designated music file folder location. Media Player wants to find every copy of the same song on my system and is very difficult to use to transfer the files to my Jukebox device. Is there any fix to make Creative Media Source the preferred (or only) program used to transfer the files from PC to device?

i am having a similar problem, although i have not downloaded windows media player 0. The creative mediasource software wont let me transfer songs onto my zen touch (20G). i only got the player a couple of days ago and it only has about 400 songs on it so far so there's no problem with the memory. I had problems before where it wouldnt let me upload anything that began with a letter after 's' in the alphabet! i solved this (no idea how) but the problem seems to have come back and now it wont let me up load anything. When i atempt to, it comes up with the prompt "unable to read file. file may be in use, missing or corrupted." (which they arent as far as i know) I also, for some reason, cannot play any songs through creative mediasource - even though i could a few hours ago!
Please could someone help as this is very frustrating!!!!!!

Is it possible to transfer files by bluetooth between mac and iphone 3gs, or iphone 3gs and another phone?

There is an applicatione (Quick Office) that provides WIFI Transfer File. The procedures are :
1. have both iphone & computer connected to the same WIFI network.
2. set file transfer 'on 'on the iphone
3. mount the iphone as a drive on the computer by entering the internet address of the iphone (the internet address of the iphone is provided when the iphone get connected to WIFI)
Unfortunately, the file transfer still could not be executed. The computer is still not able to 'talk 'with the Iphone, regardless having entered the internet address of the Iphone (the path could not be found by the computer).
Anybody knows what next to do after all the above procedures ?

I got a requirement to transfer files using sftp via java api's.
Kindly specify any 3rd party Java Libraray to do this.
The requirements are
-It must support extensive encryption algorithms.
-It must allow generating public/private keys and authenticating with server by sending the keys first(before the actual file transmission).

Better yet: google for "Java SFTP", look at what you find and come back when you have a specific question.
And: when you ask a specific question, then clarify if you're talking about the [SSH file transfer protocol|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSH_file_transfer_protocol] or about FTPS, which is sometimes (wrongly) called SFTP.
