Got my wife a new Samsung Galaxy S5 to replace her old HTC Droid Incredible. Did all the stuff to backup to the cloud and restore to the new phone. All went pretty smoothly. But she lost her status on Candy Crush and Four Pics One Word. How do I get them back??

I know Candy Crush supports Connect to Facebook, but I don't know about Four Pics One Word. If she had Candy Crush "Connected to Facebook" all she has to do is hit the blue Connect to Facebook on the title screen. If she wasn't connected, I'm pretty sure her status is gone.

What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!

What phones do you have (old and new?) If your old phone was backed up using Verizon's Backup assistant, the new phone should pick up those contacts, as the Verizon cloud has replaced Backup Assistant, or ratherm BUA has been "absorbed" by the Cloud.

so i activated my new iphone 5 today and seem to be having a problem. After i backed my old iphone 4 information to my computer i plugged in my new phone transfer all content over. The only thing that transferred were the contacts! is this normal? all of my pictures, apps, and content are not showing. I contacted apple and they basically told me to go in itunes under edit and preferences and check some boxes whih i have done. However, when i am connecting the new phone to to computer it still doesn't want to sink the content?

@Balairo, what make/model phone did you have? Some devices have a memory card that you can transfer from the old phone to insurance replacement phone. I apologize that if the screen is non functional, there is no other additional option other than connecting it to a computer to upload your pictures to a PC. How to transfer game progress to an new device?

I will soon be upgrading from a 3rd-gen iPod touch to an iPhone 5. I want to transfer all my apps from my iPod to my iPhone, and since most of my productivity apps are cloud-based, I'm not worried about losing data from them. I have several games, however, that don't sync with iCloud, like Angry Birds, and I'm wondering if restoring my iPhone from a backup of my iPod will carry over games progress.
So I basically have two questions:
A. Can I restore my iPhone from my iPod backup in iTunes?
B. Will this transfer game saves that are not in iCloud?
Hopefully someone's been in this situation before. Thanks in advance!

unfortunatly if your apple id is different there is no way you can trandfer the progress. If you want to change the icloud account on the new device to match the old device then it will transfer progress and after change it back to what you have- it worked for me.

You should make an iTunes back-up on a computer if you really want things to work out. An iCloud only back-up is not the same as a full Itunes computer back-up.

Forgot to transfer pics and videos to new phone before activating... HELP!!

I need to know if there is some alternative way to pull my photos and video off my old phone now that it's been de-activated. I backed up my contacts and those transferred but I completely forgot about pics and video. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If your phone is SD card capable then you can transfer them using it. If not you can reactivate the old phone, text them to your email, then to the new phone. Or possibly by connecting the old phone to the computer and downloading them that way.
