Transfer media to my lumia 720

Hi. I have been trying to transfer videos and music from my laptop to my Nokia Lumia 720. Some end up playing while most don't, the ones that play end up multiplying themselves. And if I delete the duplicated they don't play. This happens to both music and videos. Please what do I do? Is the problem from my phone?

Not sure how you transferred the files to your phone but try this.
First delete all the music and videos from your phone. WP8 supports MTP mode so just connect your phone to your pc using a usb cable. Your phone should now appear to be a memory stick using file exploer on your pc. All you have to do now is drag and drop your media files across. This is how I've tranferred all my media files without any issues.

Lumia 720 disadvantages

1 : There is no option to attach documents or music's while replying emails. Only pictures can be.
2: there is no option to transfer video files through Bluetooth.
3: ther is no option to use this phone as modem through data cable .
4: No file manager
5: No hard restart option if the device got hanged Let me analysis more and update you.
The main thing is theses options are there even Nokia Simbian OS. But Microsoft???????????

Jut updating another issue with my great Lumia 720, there was a problem i found in the back side from the begening and i ignored it. my lumia back cover was misplaced and the case placed slightly on the camera flash light. i was noticed it since dust are going inside through the tiny hole.
I am wondoring now when i found a scarch on it 3 days before. I am dam sure this problem ocured because of the miss configuration of the back panel. but who will trust me. if i go to the service center as usel they will start argue with me.
But my Lumia is just 3 month OLD ONE.. Like 1 year OLD.
I have attacehd snapshot this. simply expecting reply

Nokia Music-Lumia 720

Just had a query on the Nokia Music on my Lumia 720, is the music subscription free lifetime? And if its limited how can I get free subscription ?

Always showing online on Facebook using Lumia 720

I bought a Lumia 720 and it is always showing me in online even though i am not in online how to fix this issue

In People > (tap your avatar/image) you can change your chat status for the phone. Whether or not this will work depends on a number of factors outside the phone's control.

Nokia Lumia 720 internet sharing DNS problem

Hi,
I am using Nokia Lumia 720 (OS version 8.0.10517.150) for internet sharing and have had DNS issues lately. When connecting to hotspot with my laptop I get DNS server is not responding error. Phone has data connection and I can browse the internet through phone but cant use it to share the data connection. When I connect my laptop with other wifis it works fine also so the fault must be in Lumias hotspot generation.
Had the same problem few weeks ago but then restarting the device and changing hotspot settings helped but it does not do the job right now.
Any ideas?

Have you tried using your micro-SIM card with other internet sharing capable phones to verify it the issue is network or device related? Aside from your laptop, have you tried sharing your Lumia 720's internet connection with other phones?
Here are some tips that might help you resolve the issue:
1. If enabled, switch Battery saver mode off: Tap Settings > battery saver > Off. You can also just connect the phone to the charger.
2. Check the signal strength on the phone screen. To increase the signal strength, move around or move towards a window if you are inside a building.
3. Keep your phone in the idle mode. Incoming or outgoing call will interrupt the data transfer until the call ends.
4. Check the cellular data indicator (E, 2G, 3G, H+, 4G) at the left side of the phone's screen. Change the mobile network's highest connection speed from 3G/4G to 2G and back again to make sure that your phone is connecting to the network correctly. Go to Settings > mobile network (or mobile + SIM or cellular or cellular + SIM).
5. Make sure that the internet sharing security type (if not selectable, WPA2 is used) and password settings match between the connecting device and your phone (Settings > internet sharing).
6. Make sure that the operator mobile data plan subscription allows Wi-Fi tethering and your network operator has enabled internet sharing on the phone.
7. If possible, try to create a connection with some other device or force the connecting device Wi-Fi adapter to use 802.11g standard - disable 802.11n mode. On a Windows PC, go to Control Panel > Network and Internet >Network Connections, and right click your active Wireless Network Connection and open Properties >Configure > Advanced, then select 802.11n and set value to Disabled. Once ready, press OK.
8. Connect again, as internet sharing switches off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Problem with store app, lumia 720

hi
i bought lumia 720 few weeks ago, and because i can't download apps from the windows store directly (cuz i'm from syria), i have to download them to the laptop then move them to the SD card, and later open the .XAP files from the store app.
the problem is that THE STORE APP ISN'T WORKIING, it keeps saying "service unavailiable right now. Check back in a little while".
so now i can't download any thing on my lumia and this sucks

Check it by going to Settings>date+time. Also, try checking if the Microsoft account on your phone is syncing properly. In Some part Touch is not Working in Lumia 720

I got my lumia 720 three months back.
It was working fine.
Suddenly day before yesterday my 3 touch keys(back,search,windows) didnt work.
So i reset my phone.
And after that i found that, From bottom to about 2.5 cm touch is not at all working throughout that area.
Please help me.
After reset two options ll be there. Emergency call and get started. M not able to select any. Because it is within that area where touch is not working

What reset did you perform? Is this by going to Settings > About? Did you also try to press the down volume and power keys together for 10-15 seconds?
If the touch screen is completely unresponsive, sending the phone to a Nokia Care Point is what I'd suggest.

My Lumia 720 theme is not working after Amber upda...

Hi,
Today I updated my Lumia 720 with amber update . I got all the new feature like Glance , color profile etc. but now theme color are is not working. On change of theme color, tiles color is not changing. Tiles are always in black color.
I am also not able to set lockscreen image it is always coming blank black screen.
Please suggest.

My NOKIA LUMIA 720 -Screen freeze..Automatic fast screen touch working without my input
Since yesterday, i am facing this issue. Its 1 month old mobile.
Today i scared alot with my phone working, because my lumia 720 home screen is automatically working with out any of my input. i had seen 3 to 4 times, it struck off all once and it stands on Calculator screen or messge inbox scrren.
Some times, it automatically asking for deletion of contacts & it is asking for link of contacts to one another & it is automatically going for a new message and asking for some file attachment addition.then i feared alot and i switch off the phone immidiately.
What if, any of my images or personnel files went to a wrong person.
Please suggest any of you, what to do now.

M too having this problem.. tried soft/hard reset but no use.. updated every system and app still no use.. I dont even droped my phone that could be the cause of this f*****g problem. Now the down touch not working. but after 5 to 6 hrs of rest it started to work insanely like you said. I cant even use my phone and sometimes the call been ended coz of this stupid problem -_-"

Lumia 720 volume down button not working

Hey buddies, I'm using lumia 720 and often i get this volume down button not working.
I changed the button by giving it in nokia care for 3times and still im facing the same problem.
And also noticed that this is happening to most of the lumia 720's.
so kindly look into it and rectify the problem as soon as possible.
If there is any solution for this, kindly reply me.

Your only solution would be to return the unit back to nokia care for inspection,if there is a recurring issue with this im sure nokia would be aware of it now,and it could be a slight manufacturing defect which again would be looked into.

Nokia Lumia 720 down volume button not working aft...

Hi just got my Lumia 720 25 days back and now i'm having this issue going on started from today after I wake up my phone the down volume button does not work for a while. What i noticed is until i press the Up volume button the down volume button does not respond anuthing. Is that a software problem ? Because i feel like if i press it little harder than usual it start working fine.
Not sure what to do ? Like it will get resolved with an upcoming update or an hardware issue ? Should I need to check with the Nokia Care.
I already tried to do a soft reset thrice but it still the same. Someone please help !

Even I have the same issue with my Newly purchased nokia lumia 720... Sometime the volume down buttons works perfectly and with time is doesn't work at all is this a software issue... i am facing this since i have downloaded an audio update.... i m tired of resetting the settings i am tired visiting service centers, as they are asking me to leave my phone for 15-20 days as the part is not available with them and my question is. if there is a hardware issue then is should stop working but in my case sometimes it works as perfect as the day i bought the device and sometimes it doesn't work at all. Will this issue be fixed with Amber update... What is the appropriate solutions for this matter please reply......
