Transfer Moto W755 contacts to Convoy 2 help request

Pulling my hair out trying to move my contacts from my old W755 to the Convoy 2 via Bluetooth.  I have followed the instructions that I found for Convoy 2 with regard to pairing the two devices.  All goes well until I get to the step for selecting the (new) phone from the list on the paired old phone.  The instructions stated that when the new phone is select/highlighted in the list that "OK" will appear on the old phone, then press ok and "Send Card" (plus 2 other opt.) will appear.  Then select the "send card" and press OK.  This is where the rub is; the OK does not appear when I arrow over the new phone (Convoy 2) on the old phone, so I never get the opportunity to select "send card".
I have tried this with differing option on the security code 0000, 1234, my account code, etc., with no effect.  I have also paired using the new phone for the discovery, that didn't work either.  The phones pair up, and I can send a picture across from old to new via Bluetooth.  I do the same function and send from new (Convoy 2) to the old (W755) everything works great, except I decline the "send card" to insure that I will not destroy the contacts on the old phone by sending an empty or blank files from the new to the old.
I have never used Backup Assistant to move my contacts to vz from the old phone.

This method works, if the Bluetooth pairs, as mine did.  It requires sending one at a time, but it did work.
Follow the above procedure to pair the two devices, and I used automatic on the security.
Pair the two devices by following the steps in the above Linked procedure, then follow these steps:
1)  From main menu screen arrow over to Contacts and hit OK
2)  Move down to Contact List (#2) and hit OK
3)  Arrow down to a desired contact.
4)  Hit Options (soft key).
5)  Arrow to "Send Name Card" (#9) and hit OK, or simply hit #9 from the options.
6)  Arrow to "Bluetooth" (#4) and hit OK, or simply hit #4 from the previous step.  (Options,9,4)
7)  The contact name reappears, hit SEND.
8)  Arrow to the desire "to" device, the new phone, SCH-U660 (Convoy 2).
9)  Hit OK
Connects and sends to the new phone.  If security is set different than mine was, you might get a request for the security code.  Mine connected automatically for each "send", then disconnected after completing the send.
The old phone (W755) then returns to the contacts list.  Select your next contact and return to step 4 above.
Slow, but better than retyping everything.  Customer support was going to deactivate my new phone, reactivate my old phone, use Backup Assistant to move everything to Vz, Then, deactivate old phone, reactivate new phone, then restore contacts from Vz using B.A..
