How do I transfer a movie from camera roll in iPad 3 to Macbook Pro. It doesn't seem to show up in iTunes.

You don't use iTunes to import photos and vidoes.
When the iPad is connected to the Mac - launch iPhoto. The iPad should show up on the left side under the devices heading. Click on it, you can import the videos from the camera roll using iPhoto.

I want to take pics w/ the phone and then view them on my PC. I can't seem to get the photos and video to move from 'camera roll' to 'photo stream' so that I can work with them on my PC. I am trying to rent a movie from iTunes on my Macbook Pro but when I click on the gray rent movie button it does NOTHING, like I never clicked on it. Same exact thing just started happening to me. Same issues as you. I have tried restarting itunes and reinstalling many times with no luck at all.

Are you attempting to do this with iTunes? What you ask is a job for iPhoto. Did you try to import the photos to iPhoto?

Is the movie still buffering? you may have a slow internet connection. Music files require far less bandwidth than movies.

Welcome to the Apple Community Hamza.
Firstly, photo stream doesn't save videos, secondly, it may not have all your photos saved in it, it only keeps photos for 30 days.
Back up your photos to a computer or online photo storage facility, before deleting them from your phone.

When you sync albums to the iphone the same pics wil appear in Photo Library and in the Labum you synced, as this is how Apple handles photos.

There are several different potential methods for accomplishing this task. You can either use a CD/DVD to back up and transfer the library, an external hard drive, or the iPod itself.
For instructions on how to make this possible with the iPod, check out this Apple support document. There is also a link at the top that will bring you to the page with instructions if you want to back up to CD or DVD.

The last option is an external hard drive of some sort. A simple Google search for "move iTunes library external hard drive" should give you a plethora of sites that can assist you.
Just make sure that with whatever route you take, that you carefully read the instructions and don't miss any steps.
The last step you will have to take is to restore the iPod via iTunes once you have safely transferred the library to your new computer so that the iPod can associate itself with the new library and location. Here are instructions on how to restore your iPod.

Transferring pictures not on camera roll to Macbook Pro-HELP!

Hello everyone,
A year ago or so my harddrive on my Macbook Pro unmounted and I lost everything. Well before that happened I had uploaded thousands of pictures to my Ipad 2 and so those are pictures not on the camera roll but in I guess a different kind of 'gallery'. Also, I am not very computer savy so I apologize if this answer is simple. But my problem is that I want to be able to take all of the pictures off of my Ipad 2 and get them back onto the Macbook but when I hook the sync cable up and Iphoto opens it only gives me the option to sync the camera roll gallery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone!

You cannot import synced photos back to the Mac. Only camera roll photos will import. There are third part WiFi transfer apps that will allow you to transfer photos from any album on the iPad back to the Mac. There are a number of these apps in the App Store. I use this one.

The same way you would with any digital camera.
Import from whatever photo management program you use (i.e. photoshop, iphoto, camera and scanner wizard, image capture).
