Transfer of Activation

So I just purchased a new computer, and with the work I do, sometimes it's easier to have two iterations of Photoshop running on two different computers. In other cases, someone in my family is using my computer, for something other than Photoshop, so I just want to sit at the other computer. So I installed CS2 Suite on the new computer, which went fine, then activated it, which it said went fine, then when I went to use the software it says I didn't have a properly registered software, or something to that effect. So I looked over the license agreement and it basically says you can have a copy on another machine, but you can only use one at a time...which after reading further, leads me to believe I have to de-activate the software on one computer before I can activate it on the other.... so in effect, I don't believe I can run on two machines at the same time.... I understand they are doing this to prevent somebody from installing it all over the place, but in effect they are preventing me from easily using the software---I have to de-activate and activiate the other install, kick my family member off the computer temporarily... I just want to sit down and do my work and this is a hassle.... Did I miss something?

I think I might be facing something else then if what you say is true. I installed CS2 Suite on computer #2, with the license key and same Name and Company Name, it accepted that, did the install, did the Activation process, which it accepted, saying the software was now active, and I was able to download and install updates too. But when I went to run the software (Photoshop), I got a message indicating my Name, Company Name and/or license didn't match the software and it shut down. (didn't give me any opportunity to enter anything either...)
So when I went to uninstall the software on computer #2, I came across the Activation procedure, and thought that's what my problem was (that Adobe was keeping some sort of system info on file and since the other computer had the current activiation, it wasn't letting me run it on the 2nd machine.
I was careful, too, in entering the same name and company name during the install to computer #2, checking it against what was in the Photoshop About....
I did an uninstall and installed it again, just in case I did something wrong, but that too got the same bad results...
Now I'm really stumped, I've wasted half a day so far, but thanks for the input.

You can activate the product online, if you got internet connection.
Follow the link and key in the fields as shown in the examples attached below, you can find your computer-ID by opening the NI-License manager and just press F7.

Transfer Structure activation

Hi all
I need to execute a specific Infopackage in the Quality System . However , When i try to open the infopackage it gives a message saying " transfer structure not yet active " . When I go to the Transfer structure and try to activate it , i get a message saying " Cross Client customising not allowed " .
Can anyone please help me resolve this issue . I am pretty new to BIW .

hi,
you have to transport the transfer structure/rule from Dev system. your QA is set to not allowed changes.
to transport, logon to Dev system, transaction rsa1 >> transport connection >> choose 'object types' in left frame then find 'infosource' in middle frame and expand, click 'select object' and entry your infosource where the trasnfer structure belongs to. make sure the source system is marked in 'source system assignment' (click yellow box with X), choose 'in dataflow before' for grouping and collection mode 'manual'. expand the infosource, make sure the transfer structure is there and marked. create request and transport.

We got a solution from SAP
1. Execute the 'Force Redefination' activity for the related
conversion object (the one wich failed) via troubleshooter.
2. Re-execute the activity 'Start Data Selection'.
3. Re-execute the activity 'Start Data Transfer'.

SC Item in Transfer process active - follow on document status not updated

Hi Gurus,
    Follow on document is not updated in SRM after PO creation. Ours is classic scenario (SRM 5.5, ECC6.0) and passed thru the following steps - SC (FFT) created, document approved, sent to SoCo, purchaser assigned vendor and created PO, PO created in ECC.
In SRM SoCo screen displays message 'PO created 45xxxxxxxxxx' successfully. Checked the BE PO 45xxxxxxx that was created successfully.
Ran BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP jobs. jobs finished successfully. But status is not updated in SRM. RZ20/SLG1 does not have any errors.
BBP_PD shows following statuses:
     I105   Awaiting Approval         X
     I1021 Created
     I1038 Complete
     I1106 SC ordered
     I1129 Approved
     I1111 Item in Transfer process
                    The last status I1111 is still active.
Any advise are welcome. Not sure if I am missing any OSS Notes.

Hi,
1. Check in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB if the entry exists use CLEAN_REQREQ_UP program.
2. If entry in the table not exists then check in transaction BBP_PD if the follow on document ( PO ) Number reserved for
the SC .. then use FM BBP_PD_SC_RESUBMIT.
3. none of these use normal process execute BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER And then use CLEAN_REQREQ_UP

Can we run the Transfer rule activation in parllel ?

HI All,
As part of BI system refresh I need to activate the transfer rules for three of the source systems by tunning the report RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL . I have many systems and each one taking around 1-2 hours and my doubt now whether I can go for activating the rules parellely for all the source systems or it should be done one by one only.
Appriciate you can answer with the justification.

Yes u can run them in parallel....
Because U r activating the Transfer Structures in BI side....and these mappings are independent of the remaining systems..
So these can be done parallellly.

Transfer rule activation

Hello All,
We have changed the transfer rule in test system and are trying to activate it manually using the std ABAP program.
But I get an error that 'Transfer structure not generated in source system' and 'Manually activate the transfer rule'.
I searched for this and found a SAP NOTE to be implemented for this issue. After BASIS implemented this note, I am still unable to activate the transfer structure/rule

Issue resolved!!!
I disconnected the system, reconnected and generated the partner profile. Then activated the source system in RSA1.
This activated the transfer structure.

is haveing or not .if dont have add the fiels in first communicationstructure
then add the Transferrules.check the 0DF_OPRNR this field is in active version or not.
otherwise you can direcly activate the Transfer structure useing the program.
goto se38>enter this program name RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL> selecte the source systen
then execute .

Transfer of Activation for Adobe 8?

In adobe 7 you can click on help and than transfer
activation. In adobe 8 there is nothing that says transfer

Transfer Rules - Activation Error

When I trying to activate Transfer Rules, I'm keeep getting an error as "Error in source system", I could not able to track down to this error.
Anyhelp is greatly appreciated. We have R/3 4.6c and BI 7.0.

Are running on 7.0 ver or 3.5 of bi, in case ur on 3.5 chk weather your data source is replicated as 3.5 or 7.0, in case you are working on 7.0 , then replicating the data source itself activated the "Transformation rules" (if created already), Scaheduling the DTP will do the job of staging.

Transfer structure Activation Problem

hi guys...
i've just installed new bw system and done all post processing steps correctly...
while working in this bw...
if i try to activate any Transfer structure, it is giving an error with the message...
'no ddic tabel /bic/000004000... exists...'
if i go to detailed message...
it is saying that this table shud be created by the system automatically.. otherwise create one in the database utility(se14)...
what does it mean... i'm not understanding what table is this and y i'm being asked for this...???
pl tell me the solution how to rectify this problem...

Transfer rule Activation failing

I am trying to install the BCT transfer rule and activate it - but it fails saying there is syntax error for an infoobject.
This is the error:

The BW version is 3.5.
Any help would be well rewarded.

Symptom
A syntax error is reported in the transfer rules of some product InfoSources.
For example:
0PR_PURCHASE_CATEG_ATTR,
0PR_BASE_UNIT_ATTR or
0PR_ID_CMP_TEXT
The syntax error occurs in the "two-digit source system" routines for determining the system ID. Error message: E: Field "L_TEXT" unknown.
Other terms
PR_BW, 0PR_PURCHASE_CATEG_ATTR, 0PR_BASE_UNIT_ATTR, 0PR_ID_CMP_TEXT,
PRODUCT, L_TEXT
Reason and Prerequisites
The routine contains the "rs_bct_bupa_form_prod_syst" include but the global DATA statement is missing.
Solution
You must insert two new lines between the following two lines in the affected routines:
Global code used by conversion rules
$$ begin of global - insert your declaration only below this line -
and
$$ end of global - insert your declaration only before this line -
The new lines are as follows:
DATA: l_s_errorlog TYPE rssm_s_errorlog_int,
l_text TYPE string.
Save the routine.

I am working on SAP WM with HU managed project. I need help on Inventory transfer for HU managed material. I do want to transfer all my HU from SAP (Old client) to SAP (New client). What are the steps i do have to follow to do that?

Follow steps from OSS note 368460 which describes how to use the RHUWM_INITIAL_LOAD report to make the initial load on a HU managed warehouse. This report does everything, the 561 movement in MM, creates a Inbound delivery/TO for putaway, can confirms it.
Inside that note there is also a report that creates a sample load file, so you can have an idea of how to fill it.

Transfer rules activation error after upgrade to BI 7 - DB Connect

Hello all,
We just upgrade our BW system to BW 7. Since that, we now have error when we want to activate Transfer Rules. Here is the error message:
Error generating a program
Message No RSAR245
Template: RSTMPL80
Error code: 6
Row 6
Message: the data object "SY" has no component called "SUBE
The strange thing is that the error occurs only to Transfer rules that are coming from a DB Connect source system (to all of them).
We have kept the datasource in 3.5, we have not migrate them and would not like to do it if possible.
