Transfer of Campaigns to R/3 PS via Middleware

I'm trying to turn on integration via middleware between Campaign Management and SAP R/3 Project System.
Do you know about SAP documentacion for configuration steps?. I can't find anything in help SAP CRM and Best Practice.

Dear Mr. Figueiredo,
When a marketing element is replicated to R/3, only the element id,
dates and the element guid is replicated to R/3.
The master data (Products and customers) are transferred to the BW
system. The Costing/Planning data is transferred to the SEM system.
I have attached a small screen shot giving you the steps how the
data is transferred to R/3

Hi,
would not think that they actually need access to your production systems but rather a replica that is as close as possible in all aspects. If access to the production system is required, then set up a totally read only groups and assign the individual integrators to those groups.
There are a couple of ways that the issue of responsibility for interfaces/integration can be handled.
One is to have the Implementer agree to provide the services to do the analysis (requirements and functional) and then to develop, test and resolve any issues from the tests. However, this will require that they be come "experts" in your legacy system and add to the total cost of the implementation of the ERP.
Another is to have your internal IT Department take on the management of this part of the project to include analysis (requirements and functional) and then to develop, test and resolve any issues from the tests. There are some benefits to this. First they have the expertise in the legacy system and second, it will allow them to learn the ERP system more intimately and provide the opportunity to become experts there as well. Some drawbacks may include the learning curve for the new system and its technologies (this can be remedy by bringing in short term technical consultants that have experience in the technologies to help during the development of the interfaces/integrations and provide "training").
One other way is to just bring an "integrator". But, again, the integrator may need to become experts in both systems and this adds a little more to TCO.
No matter what you, or your company, decides to do, remember, the more you do up front (analysis and design) the less that needs to be done on the back side (development and testing) and the easier the project will go.

Can't transfer files from imac to intel imac via ethernet sockets

I recently bought the fab new imac intel and wanted to transfer files from my old imac 350 via the ethernet sockets as the old imac doesn't have firewire. I did this using instructions from an apple doc. which allowed me to simply drag files from the hard disk icon of my old imac, to the hard disk icon of the imac intel.
I now want to transfer some more files but the set-up just doesn't work. When I try to connect to the old imac the afp tries to find the IP but doesn't connect. Sometimes I get a message saying, 'the files you want are on this server' meaning the new intel imac, but of course they are not. I've tried all kinds of things but can't find the problem.

If the ip addresses are beginning with 169 that means they are self assigned ip addresses.
I suggest you goto each mac and create a new network location.
Then setup one mac as follows
systempreferences-->network-->show built-in ethernet-->TCP/IP
configure ipv4 manually
ip address 10.0.0.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
on the other mac do the same but make the ip address
10.0.0.2
press apply now.
Now when you connect to server use the ip address 10.0.0.1 or 10.0.0.2 respectively.

now, if you have the camera connection kit you can attach your iPod to your iPad using that (plugging the iPod's charging cable to the USB part of the CCK) and the photos will transfer. I've done it with my Touch.

Transfer CRM Campaign to the R3 system

Dear experts,
I'd like to transfer a CRM campaign to the R3/ISU system. I did the settings in CRM for a manual transfer(under <b>Customer Relationship Management -> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management -> System Landscape</b>).
But when I select a campaign for transfer and check consistency, I get the following error:
<b>"Method SetCRMReference is not intended for object type WBS-Element"</b>
Does anybody know which settings is missing? I don't know where I need to assign the CRM campaign to a WBS element.

On the same lines I have been facing an issue that even when I transfer the Campaign manually to R/3 it does not appear in CJ02 & CJ30, whereas it is there in CRM_MKTPL. Then I have to create it again in R/3 also. Is there anything that can be done in order to prevent this issue ????

How to deploy .MUP file via middleware

Hi All,
We have created a .MUP file though 'Upgrade Console'. We have also attached subscriptions 'Workbench - Language Dependent' and 'Workbench - Language Independent' to Mobile sites. However when we deploy the .MUP fiel through 'Upgrade Console (Tools -->Send Package) nothing happens.
Any Idea why?

Hi Amit,
You have to start your TA Service from Services.
Go to Administrative Tools->Services, and start this service.
In the Properties, change the Start up type to "Automatic".
When you send your package via Middleware, in the TA service window, within 10 minutes ( depend on your settings ), you should see your package in the window.

Have both computers running and have iTunes open on both computers.
Now, in the iTunes on the computer you want to transfer music to, select the library that you want to transfer music from, as per the following screenshot:
Once the other library loads, go down to the bottom of the screen and in "Show:" select "Items not in my library":
If you want to import all of the songs you can now see, head up to the iTunes menu bar and go "Edit > Select all". Then head down to the bottom of the screen again and click the "Import" button in the bottom-right-hand corner.
If there's a lot of stuff in the library you're transferring from, the transfer may take some time.

Transfer of contacts from 8300 to 9900 via BB desktop

I can't connect my 8300 to bb desktop because the connector/charging port on the phone has developed a fault so can't back it up to transfer data to my new 9900. I do have a back up from June as an IPD file. If I connect the 9900 can I access this IPD via bb desktop and how??

Transfer of data from APO to ERP via IDOC

Hi,
I know we can transfer the of transactional data(Planned orders) from APO to R/3 is done via CIF.
Suppose if I need to transfer the same via IDOC instead of CIF how can I do it?
Let me know the steps to follow and way to find out how the data got transferred by IDOC?
For e.g. When I have transfer a planned order from APO to ERP, the data should be populated in the IDOC LOIPRO01 on the ERP side.

For a thouht If you want to use that IDOC data to be transfer to an other system from R/3 then let the data flow through CIF and in INBOUND exit wright code to create IDOC.
But Iam not sure whether it works.

Transfer a Jpeg From Delphi to Java via JNI?

Hi Guys,
I am currently working on a project in which I have Windows DLL code that takes a screen capture (I'm using Delphi to write this). The result of this capture is stored as a TJpegImage. I have my Delphi code hooked to Java code (which the main program is written in) via JNI. I am trynig to transfer the Jpeg in a format in which Java can easily take it and make a BufferedImage out of it. How can I go about this? I have a few ideas, but I want to do it in the most efficient way possible. If someone knows how to do this, can they please share the solution with me?

Yes, thanks, that's exactly what I've been using. Basically, I'm at the point now where I know how to transfer the bytes, but for some reason, when I do this on the Java end:

I am baffled at this point, because I do a byte count before I send from my Delphi code, and a byte count on the Java receiving end, and they are identical. Looking at other JPGs I have on my hard drive, they begin in the same manner that this file does. So I'm not sure what's going on here.

You will need capture the screen. Steps are
1) Create Image of the size of your canvas.
2) Get graphics object for this image using getGraphics() method of Image.
3) Whenever you draw on the canvas, also draw on this image using the graphics object you obtained from Image.
4) Use getRGB() method of the image to grab the pixels.
Use JSR 82 to transfer this data over bluetooth.

1. Why do we need to activate/code in BBP_PO_SEND_XML?
2. Is there a standard business scenario in NW2004s/ PI 7.0 for this process? If there is what's it called?

1. The sending of purchase orders to vendors per XML is executed by default via implementation BBP_PO_SEND_XML of BAdI EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF. SAP delivers implementation BBP_PO_SEND_XML as standard implementation. If standard behavior is not ok for you, you can change it (see note 492988). In this method, SRM checks if you use XI or BC (depending on vendor data and XI activation in SPRO), and then send the PO with function BBP_PO_SEND --> META_PO_SEND (BADI BBP_EBPXML_OUT_BADI to change systemtype from SAPXML to EBPXML).
Depending on the target system type:
BCEBPXML1 BBP_BAPI_PO_SEND
XIEBPXML1 BBP_XI_PO_SEND
XISAPXML1 BBP_SAPXML1_PO_SEND
In your case last FM is called to send a PurchaseOrderRequest message to XI (or a PurchaseOrderChangeRequest or a PurchaseOrderCancelationRequest).
2. There is no particular SRM business scenario, as this is not a "business" scenario (like Sourcing, self service proc...) but a technical interface. PO output is not linked to a particular scenario (common to all).
In XI you can find corresponding messages in Integration Builder (namespace http://sap.com/xi/SRM/Procurement/Global).
In term of XI Business Scenario, you can use scenario Service_Procurement_SupplierEnablement in Intergration Builder configuration.
3. SAP Solution Manager has all the configuration information you need.

The only way I could think of to do this would be by using the camera connection kit. One of the 2 pieces is a dock-USB connector so your could plug the camera directly into it, the other piece is a card reader that plugs into the dock connector. It's designed for the iPad. I haven't heard of anyone trying to use it on an iPhone. I'm sure someone has tried, but I have no idea what the result would have been.
