Name transfer in directory.Employee transfer from Germany/ismaning to Germany\Cologne with same phone number.I did in personnel actions but facing problem.
Please let me know the process.

Position is interlinked with Personal Area and Personal Sub Area. Through PA40 you can use Action Change in Position there you can Assign P.No to Position and in which personal area and sub area P.No belongs to.

You cannot assign one PA to multible company codes.
In you case, create new PA's by copying the Existing PA's.
Assign the newly created PA's to the new Cocd.
Check all the groupings.
In the Inter company transfer aciton limit the infotypes to 0 & 1.
Record an LSMW for Intercompany transfer and move the employees in the new Cocd.
NB : perform the actions w.e f 01.04.2010 avoid any changes to the statutory forms.

Hi Experts,
I have a task of changing the employees, Positions & Jobs, from one Organization Unit to another Org unit, in the OM. I have around 50 position & Jobs and employees to be moved. Please suggest me how do I go about.
I tried doing through PPOME (Org. and Staffing) but it is a lengthy procedure please suggest if there is an alternate option to do so in OM.

First of all I recommend to open a new discussion and not to post in a old-date one.
Anyway, You can do it either PA40 or OOPME.
In PA40 you should select an appropriate action like :Org. Change", "Promotion" and so on. In fact it depends what do you have in you action list.
In PPOME you can do it by drag and drop also. Just take care about effective date. First you should select the right date in top of the screen.

Transferring an Employee from one Company Code to Another Company Code
Dear All,
we are implementing the HR Implementation for the group of Hospitals, each hospital being an Individual Legal entity, but there is a requirement, where in there is a possibility that the employee may be transferred from one Hospital to other on a short term basis or on a long term basis, and as long as the Employee stays in that transferred place, his salary is to be paid from that particular Hospital,
As per my understanding, we have to run the seperation action and then go for a hiring action in the new company,,, but this wouldnt solve the purpose if the employee works for 10 days in a month in one Hospital and the rest in the Other Hospital...
I have come across various posts on sdn regarding the same issue that it is possible, but i didn't find the end result for this one,I would request you to provide me with your inputs on this one.

HOSPITAL-1 : XYZ1 ( Company Code)
HOSPITAL-2 : XYZ2( Company Code)
Hospital 1 (XYZ1) and 2(XYZ2) belong to the XYZ Group of Companies
both these hospitals are separate legal entities
an Employee "A" is working in a Hospital 1 ( XYZ1) from 1st of a month till 10th and from 11th onwards he is working in Hospital2(XYZ2).
if i want to transfer an employee internally from one Personnel Area to another Personnel area or from one org unit to other org unit then i can do it through transfer actions, but how am i supposed to do a transfer action in between two company codes? -

As per my understanding we do have a functionality of transferring employee from one business group to another. Can any one tell me the exact steps for the same. It is there from 11.5.10 and the profile setting we have to set is HR: Propagate Data. Can anyone tell what from here I need to do for a transfer for employee between business group.

Benefit tab is not available for all BG responsibility, like india is not having the benefit tab.
Secondly if i want to go for some Long range compensation say an employee has worked for 2 yrs then he is eligible. Now technically speaking the the transfer employee should be eligible for the same. But if we terminate him and then hire him back in the new BG only the thing that is same is Party_ID apart from that is nothing same. Can you please put some suggestions.
Eg: Person Hired on 10 Jul 2007 in US BG
Person Transferred to India BG on 20 Jul 2008
Now the company plans to give a compensation to all the employee who have been part of the company for 2 yrs or plus till 20 Jul 2009
Now this particular employee will not be pulled out in the eligibility criteria.

Transfer of Employee responsible from CRM to ERP

I've replicated employees from ERP to CRM. I create a new corporate account in CRM. I assign an Employee Responsible. On the relationship, I assign a sales area and the partner function Sales Representative. I also maintain other sales area data like payment terms. I transfer the account from CRM to ERP. The Sales Representative is not transferred to the partner function PE in the customer master in ERP. Why not?
I have done the following IMG-settings:
IMG: Customer Relationship Management => Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from SAP ECC into CRM
Partner function ERP Partner function CRM
VE (PE) 00000014 Employee Responsible (CRM)
IMG: Customer Relationship Management => Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC
Partner function CRM Partner function ERP Type ERP
00000014 VE PE
When I at a later stage edit the customer in VD02 in ERP, I add partner function VE manually.
When I then open the account in CRM, the sales representative added in ERP appears with the relationship "Has the Responsible Business Partner", CRMH06. I would have expected it to be "Has the Employee Responsible".
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Presently i am working on the same scenario,where i am trying to add employee in ECC and want to have the same BP in CRM under relationship tab as Employee Responsible but i am getting the following bdoc error

I maintianed the said custo settings in CRM with rel cat BUR011
Note: Employee number in ECC is say.. 9999 but in CRM the same employee is replicated as HR9999,hence will this creates any problem for relationship not to replicate from ECC TO CRM.
please let me know what needs to be corrected

I have iphone 4 with bill box evertything but i brought it from a person in germany with vodafone carrier but now its locked in india and i dont have that vodafone simcard and it is more than 2 years old so plzz help
FYI, many carriers can not unlock an iPhone if it is not active on their network. They probably don't recognize the IMEI because it's not registered to an account that's active on their network.

I live in Somerset, UK, but having recently come back from a trip to Germany, my iPad thinks it is still in Germany. Is there any way to correct this? I am new to apple conventions, but thought this was an automatic update when the iPad locks on to a local Wifi hotspot. Any thoughts out there?
Thank you all for responding - much appreciated, but none of the advice has shifted my location from Germany. Time Zone is shown as Lonon, Region Format is shown as UK, and Reset Network Settings seemed only to switch off the Wifi connection.
I'll leave it at that I think, and make do with the iPad thinking it's in Germany.

Need to transfer more than 150 employees from one company code to another company code

Please suggest the process of transfer from one company code to another company code considering the other element like gratuity , leave entitlement, Bonus , Exgratia etc.

do not transfer employee from one company code to another issues are as under.
1. Employees Form 16 you will get wrong value as per I Tax law because of company is having different PAN & TAN.
2. Form 24 Q annual return data will not get properly/easily from SAP because of form 24 Q will run on Payroll area base/ company code base
3. PF number is different for these 2 company codes then you are unable to submit annual return.
4. If employee will get hike after the transfer case then system will post expenses period wise means if employee is having 2 different cost center related 2 different company codes posting will done as per this scenario is it accepted to Account Depatment? it is reflected in FICO through KSBB how can they manage expenditure which is related to previous month?
Like this many points are there you have to study it and then suggest to your client.

I was wondering if there is a possible way to transfer paid apps from one account to another for the same iPhone, and if it's not possible what do you suggest so I can still use my paid apps with my new account.*
*Thank you*What you would do is on computer authorize other account for that computer. So you computer is authorized to play both accounts. Then you can sync apps from both accounts to your phone using the same computer as before.
My wife and I both have our own accounts and each of our instances of iTunes have authorized each others accounts for that computer. So I can sync her apps and she can sync mine. Just becomes a pain when you update an app via the cell phone when updates come out as trying to do all at once usually fails if the apps for updating are for each account. So have to do one at a time or just have them update via iTunes and sync. -

Hi experts,
Help needed.
Scenario:
Employee fills in time sheet (CATS) against WBS element (different for different projects) which is transferred to HR (IT 2002). Overtime hours is also recorded.
Time evaluation and Payroll is run for the respective months.
The requirement is to calculate the actual Personnel Cost per Project. When i post results to FI, it is not taking the WBS element.
I tried giving IT 27 , but when i try to post to FI, it gives out an error "Required field GL_ACCOUNT was not transferred in parameter ACCOUNTGL"
How can i transfer the cost from payroll to WBS element? Is it possible??? if so, how?

I have been struck with new requirement from client. During transfer case of employees from one PA to another PA (personal Area) the pernr doesnt changes within same company code or different company code.
My client needs if a employee has been transfered from one PA to another PA then automatically the Personal no. should change. It should happen for both within same company code or different company code, and his / her entiltled leaves should not be lossed, because its only tranfer case.
In current scenario, pernr doesnt change at all whether it may be same or different compant code.
guide me to resolve this with any configuration needed.
Chandanor you can also have this triggered in the action like In case of global mobility when an employee transfers from one country to another we transfer all his personal details to the new Pernr and have a link between both the pernr's you can ask the programmer to create a dynamic action that transfers all the current existing master data info types to the new Pernr

There is already configured SAP HR solution for say 1000 Company code, Now I am implementing for another company code 2000, Client has requirement to transfer employees from 1000 ( company code ) to 2000 ( company code ).
Country is UAE (Gratuity / Pension legal calculation)
According to me as company code is an legal entity, We need to resign the emplyee in one company code and hire him in another company code. What you say? OR any best SAP Preactice ?

You need to have different PAs for different company codes and assign those PAs to the respective company codes (check IMG: Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Human Resources Management -> Assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code).
Now you need to run action (transfer or org reassignment) wherein you will change the existing PA (belonging to one company code) to another PA (belonging to different company code). This way the employee master in IT 0001 will show different company code from the date of such action
Goto PA40, choose Transfer actionChange Info group
0001 COP
0006 COP
0009 COP
0007 INSS
0008 COP
0014 COP
0015 COP
0588 COP
OR
Perform the action Organizational reassignment in PA40 for that employee and change the personnel area. by changing the personnel area the company code will cahnge automatically
